Bench 24 Hour Life Remixed for Her

This was a hasty blind buy, since it was mentioned in the forum here that this fragrance is loosely based on Vivienne Westwood Boudoir. Given the price point and the brand, my expectations of it being a good dupe were very low, but for just under a fiver I was happy to take a punt! This ridiculously named fragrance opens very fresh, bitter and green, then develops into florals with a limey zing, and an almost mentholated quality. It's surprisingly nuanced and layered, and certainly the absolute opposite of linear. And there is even an underlying impression of this being something Boudoir-adjacent at the very least! As it wears on skin the florals take centre stage. I get a lot of mimosa, which is what makes this scent really interesting, and I find unexpectedly I do enjoy wearing it. It's very suited to holiday wear, without being beachy at all; there's something about it that recalls the British summertime. Quickly it dries down to a sweet jasmine violet scent, and definitely leaves woody notes on the skin eventually. An impressive composition for the price point - however, silage and projection are both practically non existent; but it's surprisingly quite lovely while it lasts.
