United Colors of Benetton Woman

inaspettatamente buono questo profumo trovato per pochi euro dal mio pusher di fiducia :) si tratta di una gradevolissima miscela di mandarino, eliotropio e iris, sostenuta da ottime fave di tonka, piuttosto fresca e polposa. col tempo si assesta invece su sentori più speziati e legnosi, con un sottotono polveroso. originale e, per me, buono assai.

I'm surprised this has so many dislikes. Maybe it's the citrus? The opening is pretty heavy on the mandarin. It does mellow out though and the fragrance itself becomes very creamy, soft and musky. There is a slight orange cream soda vibe going on here. Slight because United Colors is more woody-floral and the sweetness comes from heliotrope and not vanilla. I quite like this one. In warmer weather it's got a nice sweetness & brightness. In colder months it's quite cozy , like a soft sweater.

This one sadly didn't work for me. Strong harsh, unpleasant notes. I cannot even describe it, it was such a mess for me. A friend has it now and she loves it! On her it is a bit softer and not as unpleasant. IMO it has nothing in common with Benetton Gold, which I own as well. To my nose they are quite different from each other.

On first spray, this one came out STRONG and wayyy too overpowering. But it quickly settled into an orangey oriental. I didn't dislike it, but it wasn't my thing.

This smells like a musky citrus that's warm and comforting. I had a sample of this that I finally used up. Glad to try it.

Not bad, but not fond of it, I think the mandarin is too strong..

To my nose, this has nothing to do with any of the notes listed above. All I can smell is a strong, heavy version of the Johnson's No More Tears Baby Shampoo. It's a bit nauseating and very, very synthetic. I had the Gold flanker for this and it was beautiful and elegant, hence I decided to get this one. It has nothing to do with it sadly.

This was a blind purchase. I like the composition (it's very much my style!) but I'm getting a musk note that's not working as well for me as the musk notes in my other fragrances. Overall, it's a sweet musky fragrance. In a way, it reminds me a little of Guess by Marciano with cotton flower and iris. I love the gaudy plastic bottle, in the same way that I love the bottle for Mauboussin-Histoire D'eau.

this is a plesent surpise . starts off citrusy and fresh . whit a touch off cotton flower ,But its not in away that its getting to much powdery. i can fell the Heliotrop to . but its very soft like a breeze and not to much on my skin in anyway.Iris . yes but just a tiny little wiff on my skin. On my skin this is fresh summery whit a little warmth from the cacao and Heliotrop woods and all. Very very nice and a very low price to:) It is a edt but this last very long on my skin .

I m enchanted by its flask that looks futuristic and a bit art deco. Its opening note seems a bit shocking to me, drastically chemical. But 10 minutes later, its middle note discloses oriental woody scent. Me, I have not found any floral scent at all as indicated in the above review. Anyway, I do love it and maybe use it once a week at least.

I really like the scent, when I'm wearing this I feel it around me all day long.Somehow it reminds me of baby lotion smell. Very calming scent, works perfectly on rainy days when I just want something cozy and comforting, like a warm blanket. :)

I definitely get powdery sweet floral. Very safe fragrance.
