We Are Tribe Cool

Before this one landed in my hands, I hadn’t explored many aromatic or aquatic fragrances. Fresh scents, sure , but never something like this. I got We Are Tribe Cool as a gift from my cousin, who’s also into fragrances, and honestly, I think that’s part of why it stuck with me. It felt thoughtful, different, and kind of perfect for me. It’s not trying to be loud or groundbreaking. What you get is a gentle mix of lavender, clary sage, and some soft aquatic notes that open up clean and slightly green. There’s a little touch of vetiver and cedar in the background that grounds it nicely, and the dry down stays light and slightly musky. I can’t really pick up the apple blossom, but the clary sage and lavender are super noticeable on my skin. On the dry down, it leans more aquatic than herbal, which is why I enjoy it so much , it’s simple, clear, and calming. As a fragrance that comes from Italy, it captures a very classic fresh summer DNA , light, marine, and sporty. There’s no strong ozone note in my experience, but it’s got that energetic, everyday vibe. Definitely a daytime casual scent that brings to mind cool water and clean air. It falls into the aromatic fougère family, and that shows through clearly with the lavender, soft musky undertones, and a bit of an aldehydic lift over the watery base. The longevity isn’t amazing , maybe two to two and a half hours max on my skin , and sillage is soft, sitting somewhere between intimate and moderate. But that kind of works for what it is. To me, this isn’t something you spray to impress a room. It’s more like something you wear for yourself on an easy spring or summer day. Fall? Maybe. But please, don’t wear this in winter , it just won’t hold up. Would I call it a signature scent? No. But I’d say it’s a perfect pick if you’re looking for an affordable, low-maintenance warm-weather fragrance or a casual gift for someone just getting into scents. I wouldn’t reach for this at night, or if I wanted something deep or long-lasting. But for light days, errands, or just staying fresh , it absolutely does the job. It’s definitely a scent designed for the mass market, and while it may not feel unique to everyone, it still has charm. I personally don’t see this as something that leans unisex , I really think it’s more suited for men , but as always, wear what you like. The bottle design is... quirky, to say the least. At first glance, I didn’t even realize it was a fragrance. Still, it adds a unique touch that I kind of appreciate now. Scent: 7.5/10 – Fresh, aromatic, aquatic, and smooth. Longevity: 4/10 – Lasts around 2 hours max. Sillage: 4.5/10 – Light and intimate. Uniqueness: 6/10 – Nothing wild, but still charming. Value: 8/10 – Great for what it is, especially as a gift. Overall: 6.5/10 – A chill, clean scent for the right setting. Pros: +Easy to wear, ideal for spring and summer +Clean, aquatic dry down with smooth aromatics +Approachable and non-offensive +Good value if you find it cheap or gifted Cons: -Weak longevity and soft projection -Leans generic to some noses -Not suitable for winter or evening wear -Difficult to find depending on where you are If you go in with the right expectations , just looking for something easy, light, and wearable , I think We Are Tribe Cool delivers exactly that.

La salida es horrible como todos los de benneton pero luego evoluciona a un olor bastante simple pero cumplidor. No tengo nariz de somelier de perfumes así que no diré que notas tiene exactamente (y nadie que te huela en la calle va a decir "ah este tiene bergamota y pachuli o madera de no se que cosa") solo pensaran si hueles bien o no y este perfume cumple eso.

This smells exactly like as Ralph Lauren Ralph's Club Parfum. In the opening maybe a bit fresher but the drydown is same. I can't pick any differences. 1:1 copy/clone. Also really close to Tharwah Silver by Lattafa. If you like Ralph's Club Parfum just pick this one instead.

Nose Note #401 I like that it's not sweet. It's an ambigious scent to me though right from the start. Smells like SOMETHING, but totally lacks character. Scent-wise it's not bad, but very indistinct. After 4 hours it's still there at micromolecular level still in the form of I don't know what. Very bad performer. 4/10

Waste of money. Performance is weak at least. It smell clean and soapy but nobody will notice.

There are three "Tribes" so far. The middle child, We Are Tribe Intense, breaks away from the first and provides a very interesting fragrance for its type, with performance matching its well-crafted scent. The first one released is King Of Seduction Absolute in a different bottle. Enthusiastic over the great impression of its predecessor (Intense), I decided to blind buy this one. We Are Tribe Cool is disappointing. Maybe my expectations were too high, due to the previous one. It opens with a unisex, androgynous mix and, above all, without any boldness. It is a mix of CK One, Polo 67 and MYSLF, not resembling any of the three. As if in a super-diluted version. The fragrance is so Cool that it has the performance of an aftershave. R$200 (not sure for how much it retails in the US) and a disappointment. We Are Tribe Intense, for instance, costs around R$160, I think I paid even less. A boring one, whose brand (but are there any brands besides Firmenich, Puig and Givaudan?) should give job opportunities (or freedom) to beginner perfumers in the market to develop their fragrances. I bet that more interesting creations would come out, as with We Are Tribe Intense.
