Absolute Celebration

The opening of Absolute Celebration is characterised by a flash of verdant green neroli wrapped around a core of fuzzy sweet peach and Bulgarian Rose. In those opening moments, the neroli pushes off the skin with sharp citric acidity tempered by a honeyed floral richness that is at once heady and beautiful. As the fragrance settles, the rose unfurls to reveal an array of delicate warming spice that resonates within the roses unmistakable intense floral profile. Perhaps, most striking about the fragrance is the marked transition it makes in its dry-down. This latter part of Absolute Celebration is an exploration of opulent buttery textures as orris, musk and vanilla take centre stage against a background of rose. Fundamentally, Absolute Celebration reduces to a fragrance of two-parts- an initial bright fruity floral in the style of Kilian’s Love Don’t be Shy, and the latter texturally replete phase à la Rojas’ Lakme. So, if you like either of those fragrances, I would absolute recommend getting your nose on Absolute Celebration I really don’t think you would be disappointed. While the quality of the raw materials is evident and I do believe Cècile has done pheromonal job at unifying casual chic with lavish hedonism, I can’t say the same for the packaging. Sure, I could talk about the 24-karat gold collar with inlaid Swarovski crystals and the hand cut crystal stopper. I get what the brand is trying to do here. But, to me the bottle is grandiose verging on gaudy, and I would love to see a more minimalist design with a concurrent reduction in the $690 AUD/ 75mL asking price. Setting aside my grievances with the packaging, the fragrance is objectively a good one and I am curious to delve into the brands other two releases. Benigna defines what niche perfumes are. Trio collection is absolutely stunning. The attention to detail is like no other & the sillage and longevity is great! Benigna is an experience 🤩🤩

This is like the best one among the three. It has this osmanthus tea I keep sensing. Sweet floral and tea sharpness but not in a bad way. This one is def worth a try but not at this price range.

The perfumer is amazing, but the fragrances from this house are just not worth the price tag, really cheap-smelling juice in childishly ornamented bottles! I regret even trying the testers! Big pass for me.

This one made me laugh and cry when I sprayed sample. Remember the old Chloe wit beige-orange boxes. This is it, but balmier. Discovery set is officially the worst blind buy of my life. I see another "gimme free bottle" reviewer got to copy paste the thoughts in here. At least disturbingly ugly design and even more uglier price got mentioned. Thank you for the honesty. This entire collection should be running for 1/3 of its price and even then they should pay import taxes like EBK and Roja do. For same price class I'm better off with Henry Jacques and not something sounding like classification of Tumor.
