Ugh this is such a LOVE! So freaking classy and posh smelling. I cannot really describe the scent as its a little complex for my newbie nose but those delicate marine notes and nutmeg (among my fav notes) blend so well together in the opening! The jasmine adds to a nice flowery tone to tie up the notes and the base of tonka and musk with a hint of sandalwood gives it the perfect sweetness and rounds up the scent to give a nice warm drydown; its just so damn good and modern masculine! My first Bentley frag and it is a banger! Performance is decent, lasts for 5-6 hours on my skin and good projection for 60-90 mins or so. Not great but not bad either, for how much I love smelling it I so wish it lasted a lot longer so I could smell it all the time. Its super verstaile and can be worn in any season albeit a little dressed up preferably, has the freshness for summers (will never be cloying) and enough sweetness for colder months (but maybe not strong enough to cut the cold) as well; but I reckon this would shine handsomely in spring and fall. Presentation is decent, very simple but solid and the atomizer is good as well. Overall, I wish I could get eternal longevity on it as I just freaking love this! One of the best blind buy this year so far and is already one of my favourite in the collection, signature scent worthy!

Carolina Herrera CH Men. The same playful sweet, leathery, spicy, woody scent. I really like it just like I like CH Men. Slightly cheaper than CH Men of the same size. A good cool weather wear for adults of all ages. Big "Like".

Well, two reviews for this one. One finds it a CH MEN copy, and the other one that smells like SAUVAGE. Even worse, two people think that it reminds them of L'HOMME ULTIME. Come on now, really???

Bentley Momentum Men opens with a soft projection of mostly soft woody accords. The bergamot comes across as a soft citrusy tone without any sharpness and a tiny sweet touch; the violet leaf is next which adds airy and aquatic feel with a slight vegetable-like touch; the ambergris adds a soft musky and mineral accord whereas the violet leaf is just a faint touch. As the fragrance dries down, both the cashmere wood and sandalwood join the blend with a soft, fresh, light woody accord. The tonka bean is just a whiff that adds some aroma. The fragrance opens with a soft projection; the dry-down is even softer. Once Bentley Momentum Men has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a low projection, slightly sweet, woody fragrance (sandalwood), with soft citrus, floral and musky accords. The fragrance feels airy, creamy, diurnal, fresh, gentle, light, modern, relaxing, sporty, masculine for not for much, and pleasant. BATCH REVIEWED: 2020. WOW RATING: 7/10. It is a pleasant, woody, and citrusy fragrance. Good but not outstanding. DISLIKE RATING: 0/10. The fragrance contains no offensive notes. UNIQUENESS: 4/10. Woody and citrus fragrances are very common. MASS APPEAL: 9/10. This is a crowd-pleaser fragrance. PROJECTION: 1/10. Very low, about or foot or less around the wearer. SILLAGE: 1/10. Very low, almost none. APPLICATION: Six or more atomizations to improve performance. LONGEVITY: 3/10. Very low, about 3 hours with 1 of moderate projection. SEASONS: Spring, summer, and fall. OCCASIONS: Formal events, outdoor gatherings, gym, office, business, casual, holidays, romantic, dating. This is an office-friendly fragrance. VERSATILITY: 10/10. Highly versatile, this fragrance can be worn almost for any type of occasion. GENDER: Masculine, the woody accords create a slight tilt to the masculine side. It could be unisex. AGES: Any. RECOMMENDATION: Bentley Momentum Men EDT is a pleasant fragrance that can be found for about $30. Although its scent is pleasant and it is highly versatile, its performance is very poor. It is a nice-to-have but not a must-buy. BLIND-BUY: Yes, but consider its poor performance. SIMILAR: Many fragrances feature orange and woods as main notes. Here are some examples, although they are not necessarily identical. Dolce & Gabbana The One by Dolce & Gabbana EDP, is a super classic with orange, amber, grapefruit, Cardamon tobacco notes; Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio Essenza, contains grapefruit, bergamot, vetiver, and cedar, it is more on the lemony side; Jaguar Classic Black EDT by Jaguar, bitter orange, woods, apples, and musk, it is another great versatile and office-friendly fragrance; Mont Blanc Legend EDT is a popular woody, citrus and slightly aquatic fragrance. SUMMARY: A low projection, slightly sweet, woody fragrance (sandalwood), with soft citrus, floral and musky accords. The fragrance feels airy, creamy, diurnal, fresh, gentle, light, modern, relaxing, sporty, masculine for not for much, and pleasant.

Oriental fougere is accurate. It does start off a bit crisp with the bergamot and marine notes which pairs uniquely with the nutmeg, on myself, those top notes dried down after 1-2 hours;as you would expect. After that, the scent becomes more creamy and warm; the ambergris, cashmere, musk notes become more dominant at that point. To me, this fragrance is a bit paradoxical. The opening wants to be a summer/spring fragrance even with the nutmeg, but the dry down smells like something I'd love to wear during the winter as well! Perhaps that's good if you have the opportunity to reapply in the afternoon (crisper scent during the warm afternoon, warmer scent during the cool evening). One thing this fragrance does well imo is complexity because the opening is very distinct from the dry down. I picked this up for $50 after shipping for a 100mL bottle. Thought it was going to be a new spring/summer fragrance for me, but it may honestly become my signature because of it's versatility. Its a fougere, so it is inoffensive enough to wear in the office. Its oriental, so it is warm enough to wear on a date (especially in the cool spring evening.) Performance is the weakness of Bentley Momentum. The idea is there, but becomes a skin scent very quickly. Eager to try Momentum Intense and the new Momentum Unlimited. Male: 20y/o

This is an interesting combination of notes, and it works very well. The violet leaf is beautiful- ozonic and cucumber-like. Sweet and earthy. It blends so nicely with the sea notes, ambergris, and jasmine. It's got this ozonic, floral, sweet, amber smell, but its fresh and clean. The Violet Leaf/sea note/bergamot combo at the top is awesome, really pleasing smell. It draws you in immediately. Ambergris gives it the marine/salty amber woody quality that ambergris does and blends well in here. Cashmere wood, sandalwood, and tonka give it a sweetness that it sits upon. Woody, ambery, sweet, ozonic. I do not think that "woody" would be the top adjective to describe this. It's clean and fresh, with an ozonic sweetness and the woods take more of a backseat for the ambergris, jasmine, violet leaf, sea notes, etc to sit upon. It's an interesting mix, smell it to understand it. Can't really envision the smell from the notes. Good stuff though, high quality as usual. Bentley frags are always quality. This is a good fragrance to have, and it is office safe. Could even get some compliments. Reminds me of the fragrances I wore in the early 2000's for some reason. It evokes good nostalgia.

Another Bentley fragrance that gets overshadowed by its "Intense" flanker - and another that I prefer to that flanker. As Momentum Intense has been a popular budget fragrance/clone (I don't own CH Man so I can't speak on that) whereas this one has only a handful of reviews, I'll take the approach of comparing the two. The original Momentum opens much fresher than the Intense flanker, with a noticeable amount of bergamot and violet leaf. The drydown, on the other hand, is quite like that of the Intense flanker: woody, creamy, and slightly sweet, maybe with less ambroxan but definitely comparable. Performance is perfectly acceptable. Not as strong as the Intense (obviously) but no weakling, either. Overall, I find this one better than the Intense because it's more versatile and interesting. It's a fragrance that can definitely be worn year-round - strong agree with bsimps on being a potential signature scent - and it's a nice blend of contemporary and distinct. Definitely smells like a modern man, but not even close to a commonplace Macy's fragrance, either. Recommended!

Reading the list of notes, I wasn't sure if Momentum by Bentley would work well. But I am pleasantly surprised that it does! It's really pleasant. I find it a sort of clean, airy floral scent. Violet and jasmine are probably the most distinctive notes. And as it dries down, little warmer traces float to the top occasionally. It seems moderate in strength and projection. I think this would be good for any occasion. I may pick up a full-size bottle of this. Update: I did get a full bottle (very affordable!). I still like the scent, but I find the dry-down can be rough. The "amber woods" tend to outlast everything else. At that point, the scent becomes dominated by saltiness, and it can be a bit nostril-stinging. This problem seems much worse the more you spray, so I have to keep this very much in moderation. I wish there was less "amber" in this, as I think it would work better overall.

Ultra soothing, violet-cucumber aquatic. I agree with a review below that says this is maximally inoffensive, though not necessarily impactful owing to scent profile and low performance. I know fragrances don't always need to be nuclear, but it definitely helps if you like the scent. Such is the case with this one. For context, I find myself reaching for this far more as a calming scent before bed than to wear out. As a skin scent, it only has slight projection for the first 15 minutes of its 90 minute lifespan (overspraying doesn't help much either). Maybe my batch is weak or I'm anosmic, but you need this to be on clothes for anything more. This is the definition of a pleasant, office-safe scent, but don't expect to get much attention.

This is nice, smooth and slightly spicy. It's not a huge projection monster but it does project arms length. It's a slightly sweet and slightly spicy fragrance with moderate longevity. I give this a 8.8/10 While everyone is talking about Intense, I am totally enjoying this one! The more often I wear this the better this gets for me. It's slightly creamy and has a fruity vibe as well, that I didn't mention before. This is totally overshadowed by the Intense as far as hype but Momentum is very good too and nobody is talking about it. Oh well more bottles for me I guess!

Momentum is a lovely violet, and peppery fragrance with other florals in the background. Moderate to good longevity and silage. A little similar to Gentlemen Only or, possibly, Lanvin Eclat Arpege. Momentum is a nice Summer fragrance and dries down with violet and musky notes. A pleasant perfume. Well worth the price. It's a like from me.

This is 100% CH Men copy ! Even in terms of lack of parameters ;) Maybe Intense flanker has some sauvage or ultime vibe but I do not think so since Intense has enhanced CM Men opening and D&G PH drydown. Momentum is great value for money and cheaper CH Men alternative.

First thing I picked up was jasmine. At first I didn't like it, it seemed like other notes are there just to confuse you, but after a while I started to like it a little, 3.5/5. Edit: Girls seem to love it though :)

Momentum is just a bad fragrance, plain and simple. Part of me feels bad doing Nathalie Lorson dirty like that, as I’m sure she was just following the brief set out by Bentley, but it’s just a poor creation. It smells cheap, messy and quite frankly abrasive and unpleasant. I was surprised to see that mint is not a listed not: I find this scent very minty. Perhaps it’s the warm spiciness clashing with the ozonic/aquatic facet, as it comes off very sharp and dry. Its got an air of that locker room smell we all know; not body odour, but cheap fragrance and that horrific 5 in 1 body wash. As I said, it doesn’t smell good. I’m not even going to wear my sample because it will likely just put me in a bad mood that day. Dreadful stuff.

What. This is the only reaction I had to this one. Beyond average and extremely inoffensive to the point that it has no character of its own. If someone said to me "Hey, I'm wearing Bentley! Can you tell?" I'd be confused because I can't smell it for sh*t. I would assume it's some kind of dollar store/Temu frag due to how weak it is. You could wear this for summer, but what's the point when nobody's gonna notice? Smells like an empty room. Just get Voyage Heritage at this point, both are sold at Rossman where I live, often side-by side. That or ANY bodyspray that's not unscented. Don't waste your money on this.
