Beso Pasión

This has become my signature scent for summer - often layered with something a bit sweet. I got a sample last year in colder weather and it ended up in the back of a drawer. Revisited in summer heat and suddenly found myself gravitating to it again and again. After a few wears I was hooked and went on the hunt for a full bottle. The ginger and orange opening is so fresh it hits with a punch, and retains that freshness even as it dries down and settles. I also definitely get the Thai basil mentioned in the comments - something about this mix is reminiscent of it. Lasts for 12+ hours on my skin and I holds its smell on fabric for much longer. In general I tend to lean toward unisex scents and I think this certainly falls under that category. And while I do get compliments, more often than not people tell me they didn’t realize it was my perfume that they were smelling - which is precisely what I aim for so it works for me.

My bottle has been with me for a year now, still one of my favorite Spring-Summer frags. This is very fizzy, it really does lift off from my skin and lasts for hours, eternal on clothes. I agree with one of the reviews below, don't wear this to bed because this will keep you up for as long as you’re wearing it. This isn't comforting, but a very uplifting fragrance. It lightens my mood somehow. Scent: 8.5/10 Projection: 9/10 Longevity: 10/10

It opens up woody/spicy with a lot of citruse, after a short while, turning creamy and sweet on my skin...fig and green tea beeing the loudest and the most long lasting notes. Lasts for at least 6 hours and stays on my clothes for days. I would not wear it everyday, only because I am not always in the mood for sweet scents, but it is one of my fav choices for a date night.

Bosh. The spice of the cardamom is quite prominent, and with the citruses and ginger it practically fizzes off my skin. Very energetic. The fig is actually less prominent for me, but still noticeable. Dry-down is great, vetiver and cedar take the place of the citrus. Green and spicy. It’s an addictive scent, I really enjoy wearing it. 9/10

Smells like a luxurious SPA or Hotel in Bali. Smells mostly like fresh spices and citruses mixed with green tea, the fig is very subtle here. For such fresh perfume the sillage is strong, it sticks to the skin and clothing (especially) like a glue. It's quite similar to Zara Energetically New York, but better.

This is honestly one of my favourite parfumes of all times. It is very long lasting, it smells very expensive. You will not be dissapointed if you blind buy. I have the big bottle and it will last forever I promise.

Nobody else getting all the notes forming into a Thai green curry with a load of lemon grass here? Something about this one smells like a blast of aromatic spices in a very savory way in the start of this scent. I'm not hating it though, once I get passed the initial shock of just how outright foody it leans on me, it's actually very pleasant. The opening is bright, zingy and uplifting. When the savoury spice and citric opening settles down, I get a warmed fig and slight sweet greeness starting to peek through. There's a peppery note, and even some chilli in this, which then develops into the wood notes over time. The savoury lemongrass also retreats into the background, allowing the scent to transform into a laconic, fruity and fig fuelled musk (although the lemongrass does hang around the whole way through with it for me). Overall, this perfume is pretty modern and a fig type perfume that is actually very unique and different to all the rest. I thought I had a enough figs in my collection, but I may grab a bottle of this one too. It's reasonable in price and, even though it isn't the most skillfully blended scent, it lasts a long time and smells interesting and pleasant enough to keep my nose interested. Other people also seem to really like this one who've smelled it on me too, so I assume the sillage is rather decent with this one.

At first is was a blast of aromatic citrus characterised by gorgeous lemon and cardamom. Then I read Datura-Darlings review and now all I can small is Thai green curry - but in the best way possible. It rather quickly dries down to a tug of war between sweet fig and prickly woods. Tested four from the Fantastic Figs sample pack from Bloom, and here are my thoughts from best to worst: 195 a.C - Unique, masterful. A woody, fruity, smoky delight. Beso Pasión comes 2nd. Jardins de Kerylos 16 - Fresh, watery, green, light floral and fig. Iris Oriental 14 -A pot of warm spiced honey next to a vase of freshly picked iris flowers.

A mash-up of Iso E Super (or Georgywood) and Akigalawood with its signature pepper (Rotundone) note as the main body. The secondary facets are lactonic-milky notes with fruity musks giving a nice shade of fig-musk, similar to the vibe you get from Matiere Premiere - Parisian Musc or Nomenclature - psy_cou. This seems to be Jordi Fernandez's Beso Beach remix based on his earlier 27 87 - Genetic Bliss, which lacks the lactonic notes but the overall it smells like the starting sketch for Beso Pasion.

Very reach fragrance, citrusy and woody at first, creamy then. Green tea is surely there, I can even feel some matcha notes. As previous commenters have said, a very good option for summer

I don’t have any idea why this sample, name and the bottle make me think about something mouthwatering juicy, something else than citrus. Anyway the perfume opens up very refreshing and citrusy and first it feels very traditionally masculine but settles down quickly into a unisex scent. If I have to say into which direction this leans, I would say masculine though. Ginger and Cardamon are very gentle here, I wouldn’t describe this as a spicy scent at all. The scent is the combination of different kind of woody notes, Vetiver and green tea together are making it very aromatic and calming. Fig is not sweet, honeyed nor gourmand here, not at all, it’s more like a fig leaves without a lactonic nuances. The citrus notes are in the background all the time but not in a realistic juicy way, they are just a very little hint. I don’t categorise perfumes so strictly into summer or winter scents but this definitely has an aroma which is more suitable to wear during the spring and the summer than during colder period. The scent is utterly pleasant and easy, there is nothing which bothers me but in the same time there is missing some elements which makes me want more. I’m smelling my wrist all the time like trying to get something different out of it even if the scent doesn’t feel unpolished - I’m just not the right target group. I think this is for people who loves fresh scents with a little bit different twist like the most of those fresh scents are. This is soft and woody but refreshing, a perfect scent for the office or to wear after the stressful day. Beso Pasión opens with clean, sparkling bergamot before a pale creaminess emerges, an enjoyable, summery lemon and fig combination. As it settles the fresh aromachemical notes come out — cedary Iso E Super and amber-wood? — making this fig bright and modern but a bit too sharp and scratchy for me. Maybe on a very hot day when you need that extra lift, this could be the one to wear. The note list tallies with what you get. The execution is bright, fresh, a little young and brash. Better blending or quality ingredients would improve it.

I liked this a year ago and it has been on my wishlist for so long. I remember sniffing this around early spring, slightly cold temperature. I ordered it when it was on offer online but it isnt as good as i remember it being. My taste must have changed. As I am now regretting spending money on it.

Smells like really juicy grapefruit sprinkled with spice. That will be ginger and cardamom giving it a kick. But grapefruit isn't listed so presume it's the blood orange boosted by the lemon and bergamot. I also get hot chilli but thats not in the notes either. Very spicy citrusy and fragrant. Huge projection too. You wont fall asleep with this perfume on. FB Kinda reminds of Thai lemongrass soup at first but then gets less spicy with the drydown.

Incredible opening, I immediately notice an airy candied fig with the bright citruses but then unfortunately this changes and reminds me of MP vanilla powder :(
