Summer Mink

This opens with a very clean, soft musk that gives the fragrance an airy, comforting and warm presence. It’s light, smooth, and cloud-like and doesn't give off your typical overly linen or laundry detergent smell. There’s a subtle citrus note in the background, but it comes across more candied than acidic. It feels lightly sweetened and rounded, adding brightness without turning sour or astringent. A faint aromatic greenness sits underneath everything. It’s not the focal point of the fragrance, but it’s noticeable enough to leave an impression and add a bit of freshness. The scent feels cozy and slightly fuzzy There’s sweetness here, but it’s restrained and smooth. The rose is delicate and pink. It feels fresh, and airy blending naturally with the musk's and sweetness. When I tried this at Ulta with some friends, they said it smelled like Skittles and I can understand that. The sweetness in here isn’t juvenile or sugary, but the way it interacts with the other notes gives off a vibe similar to a lighter, less sugary bag of Skittles. In that it's fruity, playful, and subtly candy-like without becoming dense or overpowering, kinda think of it like if the color on the skittles was washed off. The fragrance stays light, airy, and inoffensive throughout. Everything feels creamy and seamless, with no single note dominating the others. I think this works great across all seasons and occasions. The clean musk, gentle aromatics, and airy sweetness make it easy in the summer and especially nice in spring, while the cozy warmth underneath allows it to work well in fall and even winter though it really shines most in the warmer months. This was unexpectedly a really good fragrance, and one I could see myself keeping in my collection for a long time. Everything feels smooth, balanced, and well blended. I’m not the biggest fan of Drake or his music, but when it comes to scents I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on what he and his perfumer release next.

This fragrance is somewhat of a departure for me, but I must say, im really enjoying it. On paper, and with preliminary testing/first impressions it definitely leaned feminine, but on my skin, it sure does jock up a bit. Its really interesting. Its far more masculine on me than it is on paper or just from my wrist alone. I am about hour 4 in, and its really developed differently than I expected. It is cozy, sweet, I do get the rose, but its a gentle and subtle rose, that has turned into something different. I do really like this. Its excellent quality. This is also the funny part, my significant other wears this too, and she loves it, but it smells different on her. Far more feminine. What a cool fragrance. Give this a try, and if you are a man, FEAR NOT. It MAY not be that womanly on your skin. Also, its still pretty strong on me right now too, this will last me till the end of the work day and beyond, and I really dont see it coming off my clothing easily either. It has some incredible lasting power. Take a gamble. #OVO UPDATE 4/30/26: Longevity is eternal and sillage is strong. Ive worn this about 7x since writing this review. I also wore it to the gym a few times. It works well there surprisingly. This is incredibly versatile, also surprisingly. Also, this gets compliments. A lot of them.

Its an amazing fragrance and I hate the fact more people start to realize. It being an influencer fragrance I quite honestly did not expect much from it but boy was I wrong. Personally I wouldn't say its a everyday fragrance because it is slightly too sweet for me to be a Daily but its perfect for going out or Date Nights. It is unisex but it really matters what person wears it. If you are a skinny neck tiktok curly hair mf then this ain't for you. But if you are a young gentleman 20-30 then I would assume it will fit you well. Don't wear this looking like a bum, dress up. As for women, if you are a girl that wears that tracksuit/ukdrill style fashion...BE GONE this fragrance ain't for you. Hope I you gave a perspective on the fragrance, I don't really believe in talking about Notes since your nose picks up different things and you can read them above. God bless

I have never purchased a fragrance faster. I walked into Ulta and saw Drake and was like “ugh” but I was intrigued by the name of the fragrance. I tested it and was immediately in love. It is *truly* a unisex fragrance. I could see a hot couple sharing a bottle of this. I bought my husband the travel size to see if he would like it but if he doesn’t, I’ll be keeping it lol. It’s the perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and aquatic. Definitely a wear anytime, anywhere, any season sort of frag. Safe blind buy. I do not get La Vie Est Belle in this at all tbh. I could not stop sniffing my arm. I had other samples on and wasn’t sure which one I kept smelling but soon figured out it was Summer Mink... absolutely intoxicating This fragrance has a chokehold on me, and I’m looking forward to smelling it again...whether on my husband or on myself

I love this! This is one of those fragrances that I almost didn't want to like purely based on it being another celeb release. However, this is just SO good. If Pas Ce Soir Extrait and Gucci Rush had a baby, it'd be Summer Mink. It is absolutely unisex but can very easily lean masculine or feminine purely based on who is wearing it. There's a cool confidence that Summer Mink exudes that has me coming back to it so often this summer. Legitimately has me in chokehold as I can't put it down. The jasmine and the rose are subtle and almost give off a sweet peach vibe that layers so well with the musk and spices. There's also an almost velvety-creaminess to it in the dry down that might just be my favorite part of this fragrance. This might just be a permanent staple in my collection as I can't imagine getting tired of it.

Opens with the beautiful citrus and rose. This one is amazing, hate Drake or not this fragrance is beautifully crafted. Definitely leans feminine due to all of the flowers. However, the woody musky jasmine dry down is to die for. I really wish this fragrance projected longer, but when you first put it on everyone can smell you. I have gotten tons of compliments from this fragrance and I would highly recommend. I didn’t like it the first time I purchased a year ago because I thought it smelled too girly, but the full scent is amazing and Ive made a big dent in the bottle. I would definitely say this is a spring special occasion scent, but honestly it’s good all year round.

This one was one of the biggest surprises I've had in years. I was certain I'd hate it but it's just the opposite. This is very well blended and is nuanced. It reminds me of something Donna Karan might dream up. The smell is woody floriental with a unisex feel. I smell orange blossom and sandalwood with some herbs more than anything. Something about it reminds me of the Aviance Night Musk fragrance that was discontinued a decade or so ago. . That's a huge compliment as that was one was a true gem. Edit : After wearing this a few days I have to say it's like a blend of Gucci Rush and Emporio Armani He. Gives me serious late 90's and early 00's vibes. It's soft but strong.

Its a lighter spicier variation of Hibiscus Mahajád by Maison Crivelli. Major differences to me is the vanilla and spices are more present at the top, the fruity floral note might be slightly different (could also just be due to it being lighter), and in the dry down the rose in habiscus mahajad is more pronounced over the musk while this one is more musk aka laundry in the dry down. They both have the same mint note thoughout however I find it more tolerable in this than HM cause it’s lighter. Projection is mid so it’s more of a skin scent imo but it does last very well on my skin. All in all I like it, and wouldn’t mind owning a full size of it

Very surprised with this one, comparable to Le Vie Est Belle yes but remarkably similar to Naomi Goodsir Cuir Velours with less leather. The fragrance quickly settles to a synthetic but soft and so well blended fruity lightly citrusy rose, to my nose I detect absolutely no spices so I’m not sure it the note pyramid is lying. Intimate sillage with long staying power, very delicious, sweet, feminine... the smell of the woman of my dreams. Fantastic release for a celebratory endorsed frag. Update: fragrances just don’t last on my skin but this one borders on being eternal, leaving a nice sweetness on my skin the following day even after a shower.

My fiancé who is quite picky with fragrance, really enjoyed this on my skin. Projection: Arms length for most the day which is a plus. Scent trail: intoxicating. Scent profile: Sweet, fresh, floral, musky, and perfectly unisex. Comparison: Notes aside, in the air this smells like a floral version of initio paragon with the palo santo and black pepper yanked out. Summary: This is for grown folk. To me this screams well groomed, dressed, manicured, polite, and confident. All Drake hate aside, Michael Carby did an incredible job and I will absolutely be blowing through my 30ml and purchasing a 100ml in the future. 9/10 in my personal opinion.

Off rip, this has a cotton candy yet fresh essence to this that I wasn't expecting. I saw this as a sweet fragrance when I smelled it on skin opened but my eyes opened as I continued wearing this. As I said in one of my other reviews, I normally don't wear fragrances to the gym but on my way there I stopped in Ulta to test it out and figured let me see how this will do as I'm working out. It passed with flying colors. Not rude, not overwhelming, the freshness in fact shined as I was putting in work during my exercise. The musk in this is beautiful, clary sage and rose is great. 10/10 fragrance for me. This is a dub I'd recommend to anyone

Both me and fiancé couldn’t leave Ulta without this and we tested almost everything. As a female, I love cozy cashmere style scents, and the musk in here gives me that vibe. He loves that it smells like nothing he owns and it has a fruity touch even though the notes don’t mention it. The white florals don’t overpower and I wouldn’t consider this floral at all - it’s mainly a cozy cashmere sweater with mink 100%. Smells rich but approachable, no matter the gender. My fiancé says it also reminds him of Vitamin Water Açaí Blueberry Pomegranate... and oddly I see it lol Could easily be a signature for anytime, any season.

The thing that wowed me most was the longevity, this is a very underrated performer easily 8 hrs on my skin not great projection though but for what it’s trying to be it doesn’t need it. It is a seductive intimate scent. Opening with a mix of citrus and florals and drying down to an ambery milky musky skin scent and heavy on the milky. Def not a masculine manly scent but feels like it was made for a guy to wear. Makes a lot of sense that drake released it cuz this is the sort of impression he makes. Loverboy/player vibes. 10/10 for me and no it doesn’t smell like 1 million and ultramale idk what ppl are on about

Anyway, about the fragrance: This fragrance kicks off with a super sweet mix of citrus and vanilla, even sweeter than Afnan 9pm. As it dries down, the vanilla takes center stage, giving it a fresh, floral, and musky vibe that's great for year-round wear, though it feels more suited for fall and winter. It has solid projection and leaves an intoxicating scent trail. Just a heads up: if you prefer more masculine fragrances, you might want to test it out first. Overall, it’s a confident, well-crafted scent that many will enjoy! 8/10

An Ulta employee gave me a sample of the scent last week and I think it's excellent and sophisticated. I wore it to a pool party and received many compliments. It was strong enough sillage that everyone in the pool area could smell it. Even after swimming I smelled good. It's like a warm vanilla blood orange with a little spice at the end. The only downside of the fragrance is that it's pretty expensive. It's definitely more feminine, but a man could wear this too! Update: this smells like a dupe of Tom Ford Bitter Peach: Eternal Perfume Oils Sicilian Blood Orange 🍊

I can't even explain in words what I feel about this fragrance. When I first smelled it, honestly, I wasn't a fan. But a week or two later I smelled it again and just could not put the scent down. It is a musky, smooth fresh scent that manages to be both clean and fresh as well as juicy and sweet. The aromatic citrus quality gives it a sweaty sweetness that feels so sensual it could kill, and it is seriously a scent to be reckoned with. I normally hate freshies but when I tell you I'm grabbing it, I'm not kidding. Absolutely amazing, 9/10

A surprisingly sweet initial spray. It's easy to control with 2-3 or even 4-5 sprays, without being overwhelming. I've worn it to the office several times and received compliments. The dry down is lovely, and the fragrance ages well, lasting 8 hours on skin and 10+ hours on clothes. I was initially worried it might be too feminine, but it ended up being a well-balanced, easily wearable, and light fragrance. It's a lovely, huggable, and unique sweet musky scent. I would not daily drive this personally, but a wonderful and flexible scent.

Tested it out at my local ulta, loved it, It is definitely really good, feminine leaning but a guy could for sure wear this, Not sure why people hate on it, it's not something you would find in designer. If it was in a PDM bottle people would go crazy for it. The milky creamy dry down is my favorite part of this fragrance, lingers on clothes for very very long so if your girl takes your hoodie, she's gonna be reminded of you everytime she wear it at least for a few days. I'd say wait for the dry down because it is very different, 9/10.

Summer Mink has quickly became my favorite fragrance in my entire collection. It’s extremely sexy and it’s gotten me many compliments from women who say I smell so good. It’s also extremely high quality which goes against what many may think since it’s “just a cologne Drake made”. The bottle, to the atomizer, to the scent, everything is high quality. Its performance is alright, but it makes it up from everything else. A really amazing scent. I definitely recommend the pick up!!

All personal and rap politic Drake opinions aside, this fragrance is amazing. My first BWFH scent and it’s one of my favorites this year. This is definitely a unisex fragrance that I feel is a men’s take of the La Vie Est Belle EDP for women. If you’re a fragrance connoisseur as myself, this is a must for your collection.
