Blush Eau de Toilette

Very good, not one of those boring rose scents that always feels the same, it has a powdery sweetness and a tartness of raspberry that eventually turns into a sweet powder, I love it, if you want a fresh rose, this is not it. It's a powdery rose. I find it very nice. It lasts a long time considering it's EDT.

It has a beautiful rose smell on first spraying. Then it turns into a soft sensitive powdery gentle sensual smell.

I'm starting to warm up to this one. I got it on my trip to Vienna, trying to create a "scent memory" association with the place. I like that Betty Barclay is a German/local region brand, just makes it feel more special. My very first impression was like a lovely candied rose, but that candy quality didn't come through when I sprayed it again. It gives me a mix of youthful and jubilant feelings, but there's also something very classic and old school about it (a little cloying tbh). Still, I am growing more fond of it, if only because it's becoming more familiar. Right now it makes me think of these words: sweet, feminine, powdery, cosmetic/lipstick, cloying (not unbearable, but it sticks to the back of your nose, if you know what I mean). I've definitely smelled something exactly like it before, but I can't remember what. I probably wouldn't repurchase, but it makes me smile anyway. Though I often fall madly in love with perfumes after feeling undecided for a while. When I smell just the bottle without spraying, it has a really pleasant sour apple/champagne note (though those aren't listed, but that's just what I smell). I would enjoy catching a whiff of this on someone else as they passed me, in cold weather. The dry down is very pleasant, sweet and creamy. The next thing I've got my eye on from this brand is Tender Blossom. It was SO lovely and gentle. It's apparently one of their very best sellers and has been around since 2013. It smells like melon shampoo and I think would make a great hair perfume.
