Beyoncé Heat The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour Limited Edition

I purchased this after testing so many other perfumes at the same time. They were all nice some designer, some celeb. I kept coming back to this. I always thought it was too much like Nina by Nina Ricci but when I tested it today I could see that it wasn't really. It is very lemony at first spray a little like the Moschino perfumes. I understand people being reminded of Light Blue but that is much sharper and stronger. This one is mild and sweet and smooth no sharp edges. The bottle is similar to Britneys but the smell is different in my experience. I liked Beyonce's limited edition but never really bothered with it as I too thought is smelt too much like others on the market and it was always really expensive. This edition is close to her Heat Rush but imagine the blood orange and mango replaced with strong notes of berry and sweet lemon. This is a very pretty fragrance and not as musky strong as the other heats and no patchouli to take over the whole thing like Midnight Heat. I wish this was available in the little mini bottles like the others easier to deal with as I still don't like this huge bottle when spraying it is awkward to say the least. The bottle is very pretty and looks so nice along with the other heat bottles. This does last on me it wafts ever so slightly around me for a couple of hours but then I have to touch it up to smell it as strongly again so compared to her other heat perfumes this one is weaker. If you like Aqua di Gio or Moschino Funny or Britney's Circus Fantasy or the yellow Ralph Pony, you may like this one or even Versace Yellow Crystal all very light, lemony, pretty fragrances with a watery touch. If only I could find body lotion and shower gel this would be a real uplifter for the start of a busy day. I couldn't imagine this being stinky or offensive to others not like the first Heat which on some people tends to waft all over the vicinity this one is nice and pleasant.

After dragging myself from ordering it online for so long, I finally blind bought this as this edition was never available in my state and I never had a chance to try it first. I decided to get it due to positive reviews for this fragrance and my hope for getting a light and fresh fragrance like Harajuku Lovers G Of The Sea (very fresh and aquatic) for everyday office use... honestly: love at first smell! Since purple mangosteen is available where I live so for me the strongest and standout notes for this Heat are mangosteen and berry. Very fruity and fresh like freshly squeeze mangosteen berry juice with a hint of powdery vanilla icing sugar on top. I don't find it very floral through, more of citrusy juice. I do agree that this fragrance vanished very quickly, it should be a body mist instead of EDP. I realised that when you spray it in your room or your bed you could smell the scent a bit longer; on the other hand, I couldn't smell it on myself after I got out from my house on a sunny hot day (I sprayed a few times on my neck and wrist!), that is the biggest downside of this fragrance. Well, at least it is suitable and light enough to use at office, and I use this as a freshener for myself through the day. Overall, I still think this is my favourite Beyonce's fragrance while Wild Orchid comes second. If it lasts longer I would appreciate even more.

I was on here yesterday, and once again glanced at this fragrance. I just KNEW it'd never reach MY neck of the woods. I just admired the bottle again before moving onto the fall scents. It didn't think about it too much because I have a few aquatic scents and they're nice for summer, but I don't ever search for them. Last night I dropped into T.J. Maxx to peek at maybe a new fragrance or two, and JUST before I gave up, the blue top at the back caught my eye. I dug it out and there was this VERY same fragrance. I thought ohhhhhhhh....I bet it's a body lotion or bath gel...it's only ten dollars. Well it was the perfume and it was a large 3.4 ounce bottle. It was meant to be! (for ME) The scent is aquatic sure enough, great for next summer. It's not outstanding, no...but the bottle is alone is worth the money I paid. I find it very "powdery" as some say but it's probably the violet and violet just happens to be a favorite of mine. The violet isn't strong, but it's there, and that is the best part for me. This is a perfect blind buy for anyone that likes freshness. This smells to me, like sheets hung out in the summer with a most lovely fabric softener. I wish I could think of the exact fabric softener I've used that this reminds me of this. All and all, I'm not hugely excited over this but, I'm purdy darn happy! NOT a waste of money.

I’m wearing this today so thought I would review it. I find this really refreshing and slightly different; something about it makes my nose take notice rather than just ‘meh’. It’s fresh, fruity and I also think smells a bit more mature than other fruity summer perfumes out there (possibly the pink pepper?) The description of Mangosteen on the notes profile sounds right, combined with the acai berry it’s quite tangy fruity to start with but then I can smell the floral notes coming through. The dry down to me is very mild woody with a touch of vanilla. This lasts quite well on me for an EDT, it’s office friendly and not overpowering but still quite interesting to my nose. Just a shame it’s limited; I kept my eye out for this and eventually found a bottle as it sounded good, I wasn’t disappointed with my blind buy but my 30ml bottle (the only one I could find) is now going down rapidly and I think it will be hard to replace. Just have to mention the gorgeous bottle too- a stunning sea blue-green which I think reflects the fragrance nicely and looks beautiful on my dressing table.

This reminds me of Live Luxe by Jennifer Lopez or Ralph the watery one in the blue bottle. It is very watery but a little synthetic and annoying. I dragged it out again to try it today and it only lasts around an hour on my skin it just vanishes in to thin air. I am quite annoyed at celebrities for making perfumes that simply don't last. I know you can re spray them but you end up with a build up of perfume on your skin and it can ruin the dry down. I don't think perfumes are meant to be sprayed and sprayed nearly every hour they can't possibly settle nicely on the skin. The bottle is really nice and the smell is nice but a bit annoying at times but I just can't get this to last and the other annoying thing with this range is she doesn't seem to make the body lotions that go with them. When I have seen a gift pack they are tiny little things that last 2 minutes. If I could use a large bottle or tube of body lotion to layer this better I would have been much happier. This is a nice tropical scent if you like Escada or Live Luxe give it a try if you can still find it.
