Heat Seduction

Ok i wish i didnt blind buy this one..it was only 20 bucks but still... It reminds me of some sort of insect repellent. I love heat seduction and wild orchid. Years ago i even used to wear the origional heat. So im quite a fan of this line; but theres nothing seductive about this. Its very gingery and the top opening notes and bitter and sharp. It does slowely dry down to a more mild amber and orchid, but its still a rather strange smell. Got a slight cleaning product scent to it Update : so todayis a new day and just as Imabout to post this to buy swap sell on fb i tell myself to give it one mpre try. I had a shower and completely cleaned my other perfume off thay i was wearing. Then sprayed thos on. Its different somehow; the opening isnt as acidic and sharp, instead i get a burst of berry,citrus and a sweet orchid note. Then it quickly morphs to a creamy vanillic orchid with a smoky amber note in the background. Its still not my absolute fave but i can finally see the beauty in it. Im not sure my husbands going to think much of it, he always compliments me whenever i seem to be wearing anytjing really sweet and floral and this does have a slight masculinity to it because of the woody notes. But for me , i like it. Its really far from what i usually like so its nice to have something a bit differe2in my collection. But today is also a lot cooler than yesterday so i have a feeling this seems to blossom more in cold/ nighttime. After about 2 hours this dries down to a basic amber and orchid; nothing too complex but sometimes thats what u want, just a nice simple warm fragrance. Every orchid oerfume is different since its a synthetic lab nade note; but i love the orchid in all beyonces heat line. Its just sweet enough and holds up for a long time. Im so glad i held onto this one i cant believe i almost let it go lol. Mustvenot mixed well with my body chemistry yesterday.

Found this at Priceline with a barely used tester going for $5. Couldn't go wrong with it. I had already smelled it and it was going for $50 brand new so it was quite a steal. I really enjoy this scent, it's very different. Very warm and spicy on me. My skin brings out the amber and ginger. It's quite unlike anything I own. From testing it at 11am, it has stayed on my skin for about 5 hours nearly until I showered when I had to reapply. Kind of reminds me of the new shimmering heat by Beyoncé which I want to get as well. I honestly can't complain or fault it considering I paid $5 for a pretty much full 100ml bottle so I'm happy.

Little update: after a few hours this dries down to a really fluffy sweet scent that strangely reminds me of milk bottle lollies. Mmm

Heat Seduction is very spicy in the beginning, not like warm christmas spices, but sharp and peppery. Fortunately, the pepper blends with sweet and slightly floral notes and doesn't become dry and unpleasant. Not sure if I would identify mandarin and dewberry if I did not read the notes, but there is also something fruity in the top note. Soon the perfume gets more creamy. I can smell the orchid and lots of amber, which is indeed kind of carnal at first. It all dries down to a creamy-sweet floral amber with hints of spices every now and then. It's also very balsamic. Not a typical celeb fragrance, very warm and a bit heavy, not cloying. The original Heat is lighter, sweeter, more fruity and fresh compared to Heat Seduction. The longevity is only average, especially compared to other warm orientals.

Heat Seduction reminds me of Love Hearts sweets; not because it smell just like them exactly, but because of the way that the ginger flower gives the sweet and fruity foreground of the fragrance a fizzy rush of energy. On the downside; the other florals are hidden behind the energetic pop that hits me in the face, so Heat Seduction seems quite linear to me. The longevity is so-so for a cheaper, mass-produced fragrance - 5/6 hours. The sillage is decent though. I'd place this in the middle of the scale; it's not a bad fragrance, but the downsides mean that there's nothing to make it stand out in today's crowed fragrance market.

I'm surprised there's not more love for this. I enjoy Heat Rush best out of the others. Heat is nice, but it's very heavy syrupy to me. This isn't so sweet and I actually now like this one best out of the ones I've smelled. There is some light sweetness that gives me a ginger ale vibe. This is a very warm scent, but there's something sunny about this as well. Kind of a sizzling feeling. This is beautiful and can see wearing this all year round! Not incredibly unique but very nice. Edit: Not very good longevity at all. I almost couldn't smell it after an hour of wear. I would not repurchase, but I'll enjoy it while I have it!

On my skin, this does not smell seductive at all. Based on the notes, I expected it to. But my chemistry just turns it into a cute, sweet powdery fresh shower scent. I wear it around the house when I need little pick me up but I don't think of this as a statement or sexy fragrance at all. I can see how it would on other people. Spices and amber usually are seductive warm cozy scents. But on me? This is a nice body powder scent that I wear to bed.

Not as dark, heavy or potent as I expected. Nice but not special. Celebrity mainstream. Lots of amber with some berry, orchid and freesia florals, pinch of ginger and musk, maybe some patchouli in here, too. The final drydown is very pretty. Almost like a pale resin. Not myrrh. Not incense. But like that gentle waft of something sacred. Powdery.

Es una de las pocas fragancias de Beyoncé que me gustan. Huele muy calida y mucho a ámbar, es super cozy y es como un día de otoño en una botella. No creo que sea muy sensual o seductora, es más bien como un abrazo de una amiga que no ves hace tiempo con la que te juntaste a tomar un café. Me evoca esas emociones.

Picked this up yesterday...ok, it's that nice I grabbed a back-up bottle lol. The amber is nice and rich with just a touch of fruit. It's a warm sensual scent that's not overpowering and lasted a couple hours on me in +27 heat. I think it will be amazing in the fall!

I like it, it really smells like something is heated. Very golden smelling in my opinion. Warm, floral-fruity scent with an amber note on top of everything. Quite good for celebrity scent! My second favorite scent from Heat line.

Beautiful bottle & fragrance.Smells quite similar to her 1st fragrance Heat yet lighter & slightly more floral in comparison.Sillage & longevity are moderate,fades quickly unfortunately,not her best scent :(.Does smell nice:).

Doesn't seem like spices in the top notes did this perfume a favour, It throws me off and despite the spices it seems cold, as oppose to cosy or feeling like it's a nice wintery perfume. Quite strange, not of fan of this. Not long lasting.

I really like it!!! Amber is predominant. Longevity is around 4-5 hours. Sillage is soft. Interestingly, in the final phase they're very silimar on my skin to Mugler's Alien EDT.

my first real perfume. wore this when i was about 13-14. so unbelievably boring, smells like what aliens would make if you described the concept of perfume to them

smells so delicious Vanille warm spicy - resembles Dolce Vita very much. I own both and they are very similar

Baby powder...it smells like baby powder.

A just washed, steamy, crotch with a bit of sweat after the first fifteen minutes is what this perfume smells like. With this fragrance, I was a glutton for punishment yesterday, going to sniff at it once again, just to make sure I did not let any subconscious dislike for the singer or cost-cutting measures in the creation of this perfume damper what could be an actually good scent. Well, apart from my first review in which I said it was generally boring....I come up with this next description....sweaty crotch. In a youtube review a lady named Rhonda Lareese suggested it was not for work, that if she wore it she would get "the look" you know what I'm saying. Yes, it's not a clean scent - two sweaty bodies rubbing on each other, and not like "Good Girl" by Carolina Herrera. Still a gag for me.....However, my nineteen-year-old sister who is currently boy crazy likes it a lot! So...there is hope for those out there who find this perfume fantastic. P.S. What are the cost-cutting measures I am talking about, you ask? Has anyone noticed that the "Heat" line that is made in Spain has no inner box lining to prevent the bottle from hitting the outside box. They're just dropping the perfume in the box "just like that" with no protection except for the box itself and the outer plastic wrapping. I got "Wild Orchid," "Heat Kissed" AND "Midnight Heat" like that. Anyway, it is a good attempt to keep the "Heat" line reasonably priced for us ladies. I pay homage to Beyonce's success by having four of her fragrances, the other being "Heat" in my arsenal. I really DO love orchids too, they are my favourite floral apart from rose, jasmine and gardenias. These four fragrances from Beyonce are the better ones, believe me. For those in love with heat seduction. This is just not for me, period.

@scentsational taste.... I love your review! However this perfume goes raunchy on my skin, like sweaty places you don't normally see. Check out Bey's face in the ad..it don't look milk and lollies to me. I laugh in agreement at parts of your review. I realise the more you spray the more sillage you get I have a modus operandi with Beyonce parfums which is 6-12 sprays after a bath as I'm getting ready,then another 6 as I'm putting on my makeup and a last 6 spritzes before leaving the house. That's the only way I get sillage AND longevity. I did find "Rise" too watered down but I own four of the "Heat"line "Heat Wild Orchid" "Midnight Heat" and "Heat Kissed" are my favourites. "Heat Seduction" smells too strange to me and judging from the number of sprays I need to get that olfactory support I just don't know about this one on my skin. Enjoy!

@Lbc19005 is right for the most part. There's a feeling you get when this is sprayed in a room the room itself becomes warm and heavy in a bad way, but there's this powdery element to it that reminds me of a scent your grandma's friend would wear. Your grandma isn't the one wearing this because the scent isn't; warm, inviting, or comforting instead it's warm with NO sweetness to it and mostly polarizing.However, even though I've said all that bad stuff about this it still isn't entirely awful it's like a 1.5 - 2 out of 10.
