Heat Ultimate Elixir

I had smelt it yesterday from a test paper , at first I have to say it smells like Reb'le Fleur by Rihanna at the beginning although they have just Vanille and the Amber as a common notes, but somehow it has kind of masculine edginess which you can smell in Reb'le Fleur at first spray , maybe because the Cedar note in Heat Ultimate Elixir. And here is the shock when it dries down after a while, it smells creamy floral sweet like Rebelle which is also by Rihanna I guess it is because the Orchid effect that exist in both of them... for my nose it is more like Reb'l Fleur than Rebelle. Bottom line : I think Heat Ultimate Elixir is a hybrid perfume between Rihana's fragrances Rebelle and Reb'l Fleur. In my opinion although I adore Rebelle more than Reb'l Fleur but combining between Rihanna first two masterpieces to create the ULTIMATE MASTERPIECE it is brilliant from Beyonce who I have a great hatred toward ALL of her Heats (except Heat and Heat Elixir) ) and Pulses fragrances ... but Heat Ultimate Elixier is really an outstanding exception even more than Heat itself... so shame that it is limited edition it is currently her most worthy fragrance in my opinion with all my respect to all Beyonce perfumes/music fans . About the bottle I am huge fan of Beyonce bottle design more than scent (especially the Heat line), I like the deep dark winy red color it gives a sexy mysterious dimension with the atomizer touch which makes it classy . Sillage : 8.5/10 longivity: 10/10 Bottle design : 10/10 scent: 10 /10 Total : 9.6/10 ( GREAT !!) good for evenings and special events I hope my review may help you ;) Clarification : I didn't mean that it is exactly smells like Reb'l Fleur but they share the same edginess at the first spray and the long longivity , Heat Ultimate Elixer is a very dark scent I love dry down with smoky sweetness with tender touch of creamy flowers which reminds me of Rebelle , a very sexy and the most unique fragrance from Beyonce .

HEAT ULTIMATE ELIXIR tones the fruit notes from the original Heat's blend right down - sometimes I do think that I can still detect a hint of peach, but it's slight and short-lived. The official scent notes don't list any fruit notes, so maybe I'm confusing a floral note for peach - I'm not familiar with plumeria, but that is meant to be peach-like. Oh; just thought that maybe what I'm picking up on is a honey accord. I've just bought Fame [Lady Gaga] which uses honey and the two perfumes are a bit similar at first. I don't get much time to ponder over the mystery note, as the strong woods from the base develop quickly on me and give the perfume a sharp kick and burying the sweeter note. I'm not saying that all of the sweetness leaves the perfume, but the vanilla-like accords of the amber and orchid definitely take a back seat to everything else. The tonka gives the perfume a deep nutty kick, and there is something slightly spicy there too - there is a hint of liquorice. The cedar in the base develops more fully within the hour, which lends a masculine side to the fragrance. I love how the base provides a contrast to the traditionally feminine floral and vanilla opening notes. The cedar is very strong, so I think there is a few different woody accords in there and possibly some patchouli. If you didn't like the masculine side to the original Heat, then I doubt that you'll like HEAT ULTIMATE ELIXIR, as it is much more apparent.

Heat Ultimate Elixir is definitely all about tonka bean and tonka bean only. Full stop. I don't smell any vanilla or floral notes, well maybe a hint of a shy amber and only at the dry down stage. And there is nothing wrong about this as long as creamy, warm pure tonka rocks your boat. Mandashell is so right about Elixir being superior to Heat; Elixir is a very much of a mature, grown up fragrance. In fact my closest friend asked me what niche beauty I was wearing; she mentioned that the fragrance smelled noble and unusual and was truly gobsmacked when I told her I was wearing celebrity juice. Elixir by Beyonce. Again, Folks, don't judge the book by its cover as it doesn't really matter whose face is on the advert; what matters is who created it and how good we feel about the fragrance. This particular fragrance could easily compete with some top shelf niche juices. It is a definite winner. The only downside is that bloody atomiser - the fragrance evaporates or leaks depending on how you hold the bottle - I suggest moving the bottle content to a spare quality atomiser. Silage and lasting power decent. After 6 hours it starts to envelope your skin at a couple of inches distance, so to speak. Money well spent. 10/10

This is rich, velvery smooth, dark and luxurious. I actually really like the origional heat, despite the scathing reveiws that one seems to get, ultimate elixer has a more expensive quality to it and could easily compete with the big boy niche brands. I find the longevity is really no better than thr origional though, and if oversprayed can be a bit overpowering. It has a really rich potent orchid note, and the drydown has a slightly smokiness to it due to the tonka bean. Theres is still some fruitiness to it but nowhere near as sugary sweet as the origional heat. i love the whole heat line so couldn't not try this, its sultry and sexy, and reaaally smooth. This is the one that really should've been called Heat Seduction. Update: So it finally happened, the atomizer shat itself ...i knew it was coming after reading all the other reviews, now i have to use the stick attatched to it to dab it as theres no normal spray that comnes with it....anniying to say the least

I see that it is very popular when commenting a flanker to compare it with the original scent. Unfortunately, I do not know either Heat or any other perfumes of this line so to me Ultimate Elixir is a lone ranger :) And I simply love it. It has a thick, almost masculine edge but definitely possesses the qualities to allure and succumb in the way only a feminine scent can. Ultimate Elixir is an oriental composition and seeing the notes alone you may think it is a standard one. I don't know, maybe it is, but I believe it has this something special that gives it its unique character. It starts in a veil with tonka and amber, sweetened by orchid flower and vanilla. To me, this is an unmistakable composition of warmth, deepness and femininity. Every minute it rests on skin it gets more mesmerizing and now I know for sure - I will never get fed up as this juice is just not meant to be another flanker.

I absolutely love this perfume. I also did a blind buy just because of the reviews and I am more than thrilled to add this warm sexy scent to my collection. I do smell similarities between this and Heat,but out of the two this one is the winner. I like both,but this one has more oomph of sexiness.This is sex in a bottle. Definitively a night scent or when you want to get intimate.I am just in love it's too bad its not all over store shelves,you can find it online and it is a bit pricey but totally worth it. Comes with a cute pump spray too!Oh if you don't have this I am telling you YOU need it.Go out and buy,you will not be disappointed!!

Yet again success in blind buying! I love Prada Candy and in my book this has some similarities with Candy. Heat Ultimate Elixir is not a caramel scent like Candy is, but it still has that sweet,warm,creamy and smooth feeling that Candy also has. As others have said, HUE is a very sexy and seductive perfume, but still sophisticated. UPDATE: I used this delicious scent in a club and I have to warn you people! There were several people who kept coming after me, sniffing me and basically they wanted to eat me alive... Dangerous stuff! LOL

I just received this perfume and all I could think of at first was Raid insecticid. Exactly. But after a while...obviously I noticed it's beauty, which is not that outrageous, but OK. Definitely try it out before buying! Is not the safest blind buy you could get. Edit: Smells like Coca Cola.

aww i wish i had a bottle of this perfume:( i love heat and i think i would loveee this but cant find it anywhere in stores, so if anybody has it and would like to sell i would be happy to get it from you:)or if anybody knows where to find it besides on line please tell me!!

This is much more spicy and woody than the original Heat which is quite sweet and slightly musky.A beautiful scent,although the lasting power is much weaker than the original Heat scent which lasts for hours.

YUM this stuff is delicious. Warm, fruity and sexy with yummy vanilla and tonka bean. This one is the best of her collection in my opinion. The lasting power is much better than Heat and Heat Rush too.

Beyonce Midnight Heat is coming! SO psyched! Here's hoping it's an edp! I'm LOVING the Heat bottle done up in midnight purple/blue! I can't wait! :

Finally getting this perfume on August 5th.

Oh yeah! :D Didn't I say in my original review that I'd buy this when the price is right? And now, that price is finally right, lol! XD Glad to finally add it my collection. Heat Elixir is warm, yummy, berried and mildly sweet. This one isn't the typical celeb perfume and is the sexiest out of Beyonce's fragrance releases. I can see a very minor resemblance to Miss Dior Cherie but that resemblance is short lived. Since it's softer you can wear it all year round but it does last quite a few hours with moderate sillage. So, if you want a lightly sweetened, berry and vanilla fragrance with a hint of amber and a dash of woods, that isn't terribly simple nor overly complicated then this is for you. It's an LE but if you can find it for a good price then it's really worth it! :) PS: I can't STAND the atomizers on perfumes! I know that it sometimes reduces a perfumes life and you have to squeeze too many times to get your desired perfume amount! I'd rather have a normal sprayer where I can just take it with me wherever I go. Sure, I could remove the atomizer and put the little black screw-on-cap on, but that would hasten the perfumes deterioration due to repeated air exposure! o.O SO DUMB!

This seems like yet another scent where body chemistry plays an important part. I don't get the Miss Dior Cherie comparisons. For me it opens with a heavy thick syrupy sweet mix of berries & deep red cherries. The first spray reminds me very much of Vampire, and a little bit of Queens middle notes. As the sweetness starts to back off a bit very soft amber and wood notes begin to appear, but the woody notes don't smell like cedar. The vanilla doesn't stand out in an obvious way. It's nice but the lasting power is poor even on clothes and in my hair (believe me I tried). And I agree with Mandashell, while the atomizer gives it a nice look, it's terrible for applying the fume. Nice but not love.

THe SA at Macy's was really trying to shove this down my throat but I wasn't buying it. If you've smelled Heat then you know what to expect of this one. The SA claimed that Elixir has more vanilla but I didn't smell it. I did notice that Elixir isn't as fruity or syrupy as the original. It is more balanced and overall superior to Heat. This may definitely draw more interest from those that felt as if the original was to cheap and simple. Not sure of the lasting strength but I like it. So, when I test it again and find that it indeed has some lasting power then I may have to buy a bottle at a discounted price. ;')

I am still pleasantly surprised by this after bying a bottle on ebay in June. I do not think it resembles the other Heats by Beyonce, and the horrible fruity notes are luckily lacking in this one. (The atomizer is as always pure nonsense and does not work at all, but I decant into a small glass atomizer, so it is not a big problem.) I cannot distinguish the different notes and would never place it in the Oriental Vanilla category. Sadly no wood whatsoever. I wear it at least once a week and would recommend it for both work and a night with the girls.

I sampled this two weeks ago and I think that's more subtle than the original and for me it doesn't have much lasting more. On me it's smells like woody sugary warm vanilla with a hint of amber

This is lovely - woody but sweet, altough not as overpowering as the original. The packaging is great too. Melisa1234 - I bought mine from StrawberryNet and it is still currently on sale.

If you find Heat or Heat Rush too sweet, don't bother with this one. I was sucked in by the notes (amber, vanilla, and cedar), I thought that this one would be much different from the original Heat, which I hate. Unfortunately for me, this is not woodsy whatsoever and is as sickingly sweet and syrupy as the original. I agree that you can still smell some kind of fruit jam in there, something plummy, rotten and buttery. It's very cloying and smells cheap. The perfume bottle is pretty and would look nice on a dresser, but the atomizer leaks a lot when you turn the bottle to the side.
