Heat Wild Orchid

Whenever I wear Heat Wild Orchid, I wonder why it's so underrated because it smells amazing. It opens as a sweet fruity floral. coconut is the strongest note all through it's life and it's one of the best coconuts I've ever smelt in a perfume. it's not a sunscreen or suntan lotion coconut or a waxy/candle-like one. it's a gourmand coconut, very creamy and makes me think of a coconut smoothie.I can also detect another fruity note which is a bit tangy but not sour.I don't know whether it's pomegranate that I'm picking up or boysenberry or a mixture of both.all I know is that it's pleasant and gives the scent some freshness. after half an hour, this fruity note fades away and Heat Wild Orchid gets warmer, more lactonic and more sweet. I don't know what butterfly orchid is supposed to smell like but I usually perceive the orchid note like a powdery vanilla with a floral undertone in fragrances and here, I can also smell that so I can say orchid is the second prominent note after coconut. the first few times that I tried this perfume, I couldn't detect other floral notes and I thought it's all about coconut cream and powdery vanilla orchid but after a while, I was finally able to distinguish the other flowers: magnolia and honeysuckle. these two are my top favorite floral notes in perfumes and unlike my first thoughts, now I find them quite strong in Wild Orchid which is a nice discovery. the combination of magnolia and honeysuckle with coconut cream and orchid is heavenly. like a dessert made with coconut, vanilla, cream,sugar dusting, a handful of berries and lots of actual flower petals. I don't find musk, amber and woody notes strong here. I see them just as a warm, soft and clean base that grounds this yummy fruity floral and gives it a bit of perfumey vibe, preventing it from smelling like an actual dessert. I don't get any of the burnt plastic thing that some other reviews mention. coconut can smell a bit plasticky and cheap in some perfumes but not here Wild Orchid is a pretty and delightful fragrance and I find it very feminine and youthful but not childish even a bit. I love this one and among seven beyonce perfumes that I own, I believe this is the best one (it's even among my top ten favorite celebrity perfumes). unfortunately this beautiful fragrance has a flaw and that's it's weak performance. It has a very acceptable sillage during the first hour of it's life. almost two feets. then suddenly it's sillage drops and for the next half an hour, it's only noticeable a few inches away from skin. Another half an hour passes and it's barely there and then it's completely gone without leaving the slightest trace on my skin. so it lasts only two hours on my skin. this is not a deal breaker for me though because I usually reapply my perfumes every couple of hours anyways and it's projection is strong enough in the first hour.It also lasts at least four hours on clothes so I spray it both on my skin and my clothes with a very heavy hand and reapply it whenever I remember. I've recieved many complements so I know people can notice it and it seems to be a crowdpleaser. I think it's wearable year round but I prefer it for spring and summer. I also like layering Wild Orchid with some other perfumes.It works very well as a layering combo with these ones: Bvlgari Magnolia, Guerlain L'instant, Ariana Grande Sweet Like Candy, Kim Kardashian Honey, Rihanna Rogue Love and Van Cleef& Arpels Orchid Vanille Layering Heat Wild Orchid with Rihanna Rogue Love boosts the longevity of both perfumes and the result is so warm, inviting and delicious بیانسه وایلد ارکید جزو ده عطر سلبریتی محبوبمه و بنظرم یکی از دوست داشتنی ترین نتهای نارگیل رو داره. نارگیلش اصلا ضدآفتاب طور نیست و مثل خیلی از عطرهای نارگیلی دیگه، حضور نتهای نمکی یا آکواتیک یا مرکبات ترش، خرابش نکرده. شمع طور یا پلاستیکی هم نیست. نارگیل خامه ای و گورمندطور و خوشمزه ای داره که یادآور اسموتی نارگیله شروع عطر، ترکیبی از همین شیرنارگیل خوشمزست به همراه یه نت میوه ای ملس(بری و انار). بعد نیم ساعت اون نت میوه ای محو میشه و فضای عطر، گرمتر و شیرینتر و خامه ای تر و یه مقدارم پودری میشه. بعد از نارگیل، ارکیده وانیلی و پودری غالبترین نته. من اوایل، بقیه نتهای گلی رو حس نمیکردم اما الان کاملا مگنولیا و امین الدوله رو که محبوبترین نتهای گلی واسه من هستن، حس میکنم. نتهای پایه(مشک، امبر و نتهای چوبی)، قوی نیستن و فقط حضور دارن که نذارن وایلد ارکید بوی کاملا دسرطور بده درمجموع بنظرم خیلی دوست داشتنی و خوشبوئه و اصلا بچگونه نیست. چهارفصل قابل استفاده ست اما من واسه بهار و تابستون ترجیح میدمش. موندگاریش افتضاحه(دو ساعت رو پوست من، چهار پنج ساعت رو لباس) اما لااقل خوبیش اینه که تو ساعت اول، پخش بوی خوبی داره. عطر بشدت خوش بازخوردی هم هست اگه ترکیب گلهای فوق العاده خوشبو و بهشتی با نارگیل خوشمزه و خامه ای تو یه بستر تمیز و یکم پودری واستون جالبه حتما امتحانش کنید ضمنا لیر کردنش با ریحانا روژ لاو هم موندگاری و قدرت هردو رو بیشتر میکنه هم میکس رایحه هاشون محشره

When i saw the bottle on fragrantica, i immediately wanted to try it because of the gorgeous color. It's probably my favorite heat bottle yet. However, when i started reading the reviews.. i lost interest because of the negative reviews. I kind of forgot about it for a while, but was in walmart last night, and they had the tester available. I sprayed it, and immediately FELL IN LOVE. I bought two of the gift sets on the spot.. one for a backup because i knew i was going to be using a lot of it. I wore it to bed last night, and have been wearing it all day today. It's one of the best scents i have ever tried.. i am stunned that so many people could dislike this. I am very picky when it comes to scents and there are very few i would consider favorites, but this one immediately soars to the top. The smell is almost identical to a bath & body works handsoap called "Paradise Coconut" that i have been obsessed with and missing for years. It was a limited edition handsoap in 2012.. and they never brought it back. It was one of those soaps that i had to keep smelling my hands all day long.. and ever since it's demise, i have been searching for something similar for years.. but never found anything. Finally, after 3 years, i found the perfect replacement last night in this scent. The only difference is that this scent is slightly more floral/spicy. Heat Wild Orchid has a floral/creamy background while Paradise Coconut had a very crisp background.. but the coconut note and the base of the scent is a dead on dupe. The scent is extremely long lasting on me.. 12+ hours. Which is weird because i have problems with most scents lasting on me. I didn't think Beyonce could make a perfume that could surpass Heat Rush.. but she did it with this one. After HATING Midnight Heat & Rise i wasn't expecting much, but this scent is perfection. The definition of summer, can't wait until the hot months to start wearing it full time, but i am definitely going to enjoy it the rest of the winter as well.

I have Beyonce heat,heat kissed which I like these two and heat night which I dislike.recently I purchased heat wild orchid and this one is my favourite among four heats I have It smells lovely and if you like coconuts it's a must have for you I don't know how does butterfly orchid smells but to my nose it's something like vanilla orchid.milky coconut-creamy vanilla combo reminds me aquolina gold sugar,the only difference is orange in gold sugar which is replaced with something berry like but nicer than typical berries(guess it's a mixture of boysenberry and pomegranate)in beyonce heat orchid.I like Beyonce orchid more than gold sugar because I sometimes find orange-coconut combo kind of odd but I think coconut goes with berries better Beyonce heat wild orchid is a combination of gourmand coconut(not suntan coconut)with vanilla orchid,a touch of fruity,berry like smell and creamy white florals.it's very soft and creamy dreamy and delicious.I'm sure it would be really enjoyable as daily or vacation fragrance in summers but now that I'm wearing it,is a non cold winter day and I find it lovely It's not potent but not as weak as the chart suggests.it stays 4-5 hours on my skin with soft to moderate sillage.I bought a 3.4 oz bottle for 22$ and I think it worthes every penny If you want a soft,sweet,creamy scent wearable all year round give it a try I like it's bottle as I like all heats I'd love to try the yellow heat and also elixir but unfortunately they aren't available where I live ❤❤❤❤ 2nd edit: I think this one shows it's best in heat but I can't wait for spring and summer.I'm wearing it at least three times a week and usually at home and each time I wear it I love it more and more I find this combination of smooth orchid vanilla,milky coconut and berries very addictive,soothing and delicious Gonna repurchase whenever I finish my bottle ❤❤❤❤❤

This should most definitely be called Wild Coconut instead of Wild Orchid. I do love coconut though, so I'm not disappointed! At first it smells like some BBW coconut fragrance I can't think of at the moment...but once it mellowed out, I get coconut with some very light wafts of sweet floral. So like 95% coconut 5% soft floral (I guess orchid, it's so faint I can't really tell). That soft floral note is what keeps this from smelling entirely like a body splash, which is what gives it a LOVE from me! Perfect summer daytime scent!! Lasting power isn't great though, so I end up putting like 3-4 sprays on my body, one on my hair & one on my shirt. Doing this, I could still smell it like 5-6 hours later. I have a lot of fun layering this over different lotions--I have EO coconut lemon body lotion that really mixes well with this fragrance. If you're a coconut lover, this is a must have!

Kind of smells like coconut milk, but in a good way! At first I didn’t really like it as I think the coconut is slightly overbearing in the initial spray but it does have a nice dry-down of floral notes and woody notes with just that right hint of coconut. The fragrance lasts a good while but the silage is low, so maybe this is good perfume for working environments, but maybe it’s a little much for casual wear. The votes suggest that this is a scent for daytime, but I think it’s more suitable for summer nights as it has that hint of sophistication. Overall, it’s in the back of my vanity, I don’t wear it too often, just once in a while. It’s better than the original Heat but not as good as Heat Rush in my opinion (These are the only ones I have tried) but it does last longer! I recommend it to people looking for a good summer night fragrance or those part of the BeyHive! 🐝

I've never explored Beyonce's fragrances after trying the original Heat years ago and finding it waaaay too heavy. However, I was intrigued by the top note of coconut in this one, so I blind ordered it. So glad I did! It's a great replacement for Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Lovers G which is going for $100 a bottle on eBay since it's been discontinued. It's really hard to find a coconut perfume that doesn't smell like a car air freshener or like it's made for a 14-year-old. I can't stop smelling my wrist! It's coconutty but not too sweet. Smells natural, not synthetic ala Bath & Body Works. It's got some type of warmth to it (hence "Heat") that balances out the sweetness keeping it from being candy-like. It's more grown up. A lovely tropical fragrance, even though I can see myself wearing this year round, and the bottle is gorgeous. Great job on this one Bey!

Why all the hate for this one? I blind bought it last week as it was going out for 20 bucks and I love midnight heat so was went for it even after reading that its just pure coconut from a lot of other reviews. Its fresh and clean smelling,with the coconut putting a cool freshness to it,rather that an overly sweet sugar smell that comes with most coconut fragrances. The orchid is there,just enough to give it that signature warm sweetness that's in all the Heat scents. It lasts a fair few hours and dries right down to a lovely sweet creaminess that is perfect for a warm sunny day Edit: combined this with a little of jlow sunkissed glow, delicious! a rich fruity tropical summer small, and it increases the longevity of both hugely also

I absolutely LOVE this! On me, this smells very similar to Korrigan by Lubin. Honestly! Although they have no listed notes in common, I checked reviews for both fragrances (here and elsewhere) and found some folks describe Heat Wild Orchid as “boozy” and several people use “coconutty” to describe Korrigan. It's interesting how differently people's olfactory systems and skin chemistries shape our perception of certain fragrances, not to mention the price point of the fragrance itself. Go figure. Heat Wild Orchid is the only Beyonce fragrance I've purchased again and again (I prefer the 1oz/30ml size for ease of spraying), and what a bargain it is! Great for all seasons, any occasion.

''Heat Wild Orchid'' [I have the parfum deodorant natural spray] is an amazing lactonic, coconutty smell that smells extremely similar to ''Cloud'' by Ariana Grande in my opinion. ''Heat Wild Orchid'' is more light, airy, fluffy and has more vanilla. ''Cloud'' is a little bit more heavy just a little bit, a little bit more marshmellowy, woodsy and I can smell the lavender as well. I would say that if you can't afford ''Cloud'' definitely try this as it is much cheaper. But don't blind buy these two perfumes!! I don't think they are not safe blind buys, as I read a lot of mixed reviews about ''Cloud''. I hope that you find my reviews helpful!

Just got this today and this is a sweet treat of a fragrance! I get a bit of the coconut with a lot of pomegranate and amber. But something that's not here that I can definitely smell is a touch of vanilla. I haven't tried Twilight Woods, so I can't really comment on that. But this is a summer fragrance. It may do well in the winter (since I'm not someone who cares about the "right time to wear a fragrance") but something about Beyoncé's fragrances in the heat (no pun intended!). I don't know they just develop more! But one spray on my arm and I've instantly been wrapped up in this fragrance! Really enjoying this one :)!

I loved it at first but I'm getting a little tired of it now even though I still enjoy it. It has a slightly plastic/artificial undertone, if I'm not mistaken it with some other scent but it's barely noticeable. The coconut isn't as outstanding as I expected and I would describe it as a smooth floral (maybe orchid) scent with hints of vanilla mixed with something else... Maybe plum or boysenberry. I'm wondering if the "plastic undertone" comes from a mix of (sweet) coconut, pomegranate and woody notes? Overall I would recommend it since it's a nice perfume. Not sure it would fit anybody since it's intensive and special

This is a quite different to the original "Heat" - I think she should have changed the name. The original "Heat" was a spicy vanilla, this is a fruity floral. About the only thing they have in common is that they are sweetly edible. Still, I like this. It is sweet and fruity without being too cloying. The only problem is that it doesn't last very well on me - within about 2 hours it was basically gone. I have a sneaking suspicion that this might work better on a younger person but I'm over 40, I'm not dead! I'm wearing it anyway!

This is the best flanker of Heat in my opinion. Creamy, lactonic, sweet, fruity, warm, powdery, floral vanilla scent. Most prominent on my skin is the coconut, boysenberry, orchid, and amber. I feel like you can wear this all year round; day and night. Longevity on me is insane! I am a heavy sprayer. I wore this to sleep last night and woke up still profusely smelling fruity and “coconutty”, my boyfriend enjoys this as well. I don’t believe this is a safe blind buy even though I blind bought it and instantly fell in love.

This is a more interesting version of Sabrina carpenter - Sweet tooth. (It feel like this was the inspiration) ----- This was a blind buy for me back in the day, after already loving Heat and Mrs Carter tour. The pink bottle made me pay more then I usually did on the Heat perfumes. Ohw how much I was shocked by this smell.... to be honest... this one I learned to love as I grew older. It is bold and stays long on me and it is now one of my favorites eventhough my love for the standard Heat has died down.

Wonderful!!! Wonderful gorgeous coconut! But with, very importantly, boysenberry and pomegranate....and the lovely lovely flowers! And the beautiful woods, musk and amber. A fabulous combination! I just love it. I love all of Beyonce's perfumes so far (and I'm not young!) - I'm about half-way through the range I think! Really strong and enveloping and sensual. Terrific. Longevity and sillage beautiful. All day and still faintly there in the morning. Yummy perfume.

An update on my review: If I could have an obbsesed option on here I would use it for this! I am a cherographer/dancer on my free time (not an abundance of money in that field in my area) and I always pick up this scent before going to the studio! It develops well on it own, but when it mixes with my movement and body heat it turns into the most beautiful carmel, vanilla cream ever! Great sillage and great longevity, I'll definitely pick up another when I run out!

I like the scent very much and it matches the bottle. If fuchsia pink had a smell, this would be it: sweet and sour, fruity, bold, intoxicating. So all the reasons to be terribly disappointed with its longevity. The strong beautiful opening is gone within minutes and in half an hour I have nothing left, or at least this is how my skin and nose render it. I would love to find a similar scent with slightly better lasting power, at least an hour or two.

This is by far, my favorite Heat flanker. It is actually nothing like any of the others; so much that I think Beyonce should have called it something else completely. I love coconut so I may be a little biased but the way it mixes with the orchid and berries is just gorgeous. It is sweet, but not sickening sweet. This is definitely the most unique in her line-up of frags and something I would repurchase.

Heat Wild Orchid, summed up in a word, is simply FUN. The coconut note is so faint on me, I wouldn’t have guessed it was in here without seeing the notes. This smells like a smooth, creamy, bubble gum marshmallow. Sweet but soft, and not toothache inducing. There is nothing sophisticated about this scent but it is young and cheerful, and a love at first sniff for me. I wish I had got a bigger bottle.

The scent is very unique, i can't name anything that smells like Heat Wild Orchid wich i really love, but it's a shame that has a very poor projection, almost 10 minutes and it's gone! Even a plain body lotion has a better staying power than this! I feel very disappointed because i collect Beyonce perfumes and from all in the Heat line this the 2nd best perfume but the staying power is a shame :/
