Midnight Heat

I had a love and hate to this perfume at the first time i sprayed it! I was in the mall and seem this perfume for a cheap price of 100ml. So i grab it together with the heat rush and heat wild orchid! So when i reach my house.. I was excited to unbox all of it and putting it on my shelves and spray it.. Btw my first perfume by beyonce is her HEAT. so i unboxed all them. I was so happy tht i get it.. The bottle is really stunning n reminds me of old witch bottle and a bottle from a chemist lab. I sprayed this midnight heat on my neck. Then i ws shock...i ws like wtf why smells so synthetic and medicine. Ita smells yucky tht makes me puke! I thougt it has a bad blend on my skin chemistry so i tried it to my dress. And i sprayed it once on my dress.. And im so much disaapoinnted.. Its smells so bad.. But instead i return it back to the mall. I give it a chance. But i really cnt stand the smell on my skin to i took a shower to erase the smell on my skin. But i give it chance to my dress. I waited.. After an hour i try to smell it if the scents will change.. But no!! Until i put it in my shelves n forgot about it.. After a few weeks. I plan to clean all my perfuke which is pretty a lot.. So when i pick up this midnight heat..it reminds me of my disappoinment when i first sprayed it. But! I was thinking what if im ganna use it after after my shower.. So i give it a try..after a shower. I sprayed it on my neck and wrist and some pulse of my body. N im surprised!! Its smells realy stunning. I smells the patchouli,carambola and plum!!its so amazing how it change like that on my skin.. From bad scents to stunning scents. So i sprayed more!! Til i find out tht i love it..its a tropical. Sweet and sour perfume. With a little powdery in the drydown tht reminds me of baby diaper..the sillage and longevity is cool pz it last long on my skin spxially to my dress.. The packaging is ok.. From a cheap cardboard. But the bottle is beautiful! This perfume is awesome to wear in a hot summer day.. The plum and patchouli really last in this perfume.. From top to bade notes. I cn detect 2 of them..

This is by Beyonce?! What?? This perfume - Midnight Heat is SO good I don't know what it is about it but to me, this is heavenly. I like her but now ... I like her more. A lot, actually. There is something that lingers in Midnight Heat that smells gorgeous to me. I don't know what notes or what combination is satisfying me so much with this, is it the plum? Night blooming Cereus? Is it the patchouli? Maybe it's the sandalwood. It's the masterful blender by the perfumer, who is very talented. I have expensive taste generally, I believe, I've spent thousands on perfumes. I love the work of master perfumers. Shockingly this Beyonce purple juice has become one of my favourite perfumes. This perfume is so good to me. I love smelling it. There is something in Midnight Heat Beyonce that is so good to my nose. It smells well blended to me; irresistible, sexy and I smile when I put it on. I thought my favourite was Beyonce Heat Rush but now Midnight Heat is on heavier rotation. The original red Heat is ok, a safe and slightly boring bet. I feel that the longevity of Midnight H. is moderate to long lasting.

So I finally bought a bottle of Beyonce's "Midnight Heat" that I've wanted since Christmas and I must say...it is actually quite good. Very plum and vanilla (Cereus flower) with a noticeable star fruit sweet/green intermingling well enough. Quite alluring. I must say though, I got a slight reminder of classic Imari "Seduction" here! But then it was gone. I think Beyonce puts off a certain shyness when she's not possessed by Sacha fierce onstage and that is the way it smells on my skin, a beautiful gradual radiation with heat which is just right for a close up at a dinner table or party. Very well done and I respect the womanliness of it too. I do get the spice from the patchouli too. A good buy to add to my night artillery after Kim Kardashian "Gold," and Paris Hilton "Fairy Dust." The bottle is lovely, although in actuality the base is wider than displayed here, the bottle cap, negligible. At $149 for a 100mL bottle, I will also admit I was drawn to the purple/blue of the overall display. Not a sillage monster...alright, an underrated sexy!

I finally got a bottle of this. I sprayed it in the store and thought yep I like that and just got it. As I wore it I couldn't figure out why it smelled so familiar but it is because on me it smells a lot like a mix of the Ralph Lauren Pony the pink one and the purple one because the purple one is a little sharp must be the cherry and so is beyonce's but I am not sure what is making Beyonce's sharp to me but I like it and probably I like it the most out of all her perfumes so far which I didn't think I would because I am always crapping on about how wonderful the original Heat is but I do enjoy this one more for some reason. I wish I could get the lotion to go with it but everywhere I go they don't seem to have that. I can smell a faint chocolatey smell in it as well and I am not sure why or a faint gourmay smell maybe it is the amber giving that impression? I have trouble getting it to last on me so I just have to keep re spraying it but I like it so much I am not bothered I just give it a quick spray and then I am set for a while.

This is my favourite of all the "Heat" fragances (I have tried them all except for "Wild Orchid"). I must say though, that it feels I lot more simple than all of the notes listed here. I would say it's basically a combination of the plum with a strong patchouli. It is, therefore, juicy and sexy, but it's a dark fruity perfume, not a fresh girly one. The bottle is really cute and the purple color defines perfectly the vibe of this perfume. I have heard some people say it smells a bit synthetic and that's probably true, but I still really enjoy it for what it is, a juicy and sexy celebrity fragance. I have also seen some people say it doesn't last long on them, again, it must have something to do with skin chemistry, because if I apply it at night I can still smell it on me in the morning, and that says a lot. Overall, this is a perfume I always go back to when I feel like wearing something juicy, sexy and fun and I don't want to use my more expensive perfumes. I really enjoy it!

My husband immediately told me that he thinks this perfume smells kinda masculine lol I however, disagree.. Though I could see how he would get that impression. To me Midnight Heat is reminiscent of Bath & Body Works Forever Midnight & it's not just coincidence the names are similar. I think Midnight Heat is less sweet & more mature. I personally find it sensuous, mysterious, clean yet edgy. Not for those with extra sensitive noses however not as overpowering as Angel. (which by the way though I somewhat like I cannot wear because it gives me a headache & makes my eyes water) Anyway I love it, definitely more sophisticated than the original Beyonce Heat. Midnight Heat will get people wondering who smells so good as it makes its entrance & all the while provide that air of mystery & intrigue...

This scent is my favourite out of the 3 Heat fragrances. It is very bright & tropical. It reminds me of a very summery breakfast juice. When I smell it, it takes me to a sunny, tropical island at sunset. It is perfect for outings on warm Summer evenings. The patchouli is so noticeable, along with the juicy plum & star fruit. Some florals come out in the middle, but not really. Mainly, it settles into a vibrant, fruity musk. Midnight Heat lasts for ages! I can still smell it 7-12 hours after application! It lasts longer than the previous 2 Heats. This fragrance overall just lifts my mood and makes me happy and bright with its cheery, colourful scent. If you would like a new perfume to wear in the evenings of Summer, and you're sick of Midnight Fantasy, then I recommend Midnight Heat by Beyoncé!

When I first sprayed this on myself my heart DROPPED like it was on the DROP ZONE at Great America. It smelled of Dried Tulips and some dried and stale fruits. I couldn't belive it. Horrible smell. Then, maybe 15 minutes later it dried down to a beautiful, spicy and sweet scent! Sweet, a bit of woods and beautful sweetness around some spices. Glad I waited! I love it! This is also the best Beyonce Heat bottle as the cap has a hint of purple to it! Think this one might be my fave! The lasting power is ok. Starts off strong but after 2 hours it's skin scent. Doesn't disappear without a trace but it stays very close Can't wait for the lotion. Hope the lotion is more of the dry-down! I'll do a more in depth review when I get the body lotion!

Last night I was wearing "Midnight Heat" as I titrated acidity in a lab. A handsome male coworker who was in the lab at that time suddenly said out loud "what perfume are you wearing there?" I swished a water sample as I tested for turbidity, I answered "Something from Beyonce...." "IT SMELLS LIKE COOKIES AND CREAM," he said. Wow...I am in a lab with male workers joshing around at midnight and one is telling me I smell like cookies and cream wearing " Midnight Heat" Needless to say I didn't go too near them for the rest of the night. He loved the scent of me in my lab coat smelling like something edible and drinkable. Of all the reviews I've given of this fragrance I just had to add this one because it is the most unique.

I'm going a take a cheesy page from Strawberry Shortcake here: It's Berry Berry Patchouli! Somehow it works, and fantastically so. It seems that the Dragonfruit, Starfruit, and Plum play trickster on that berry there. They're like a magic act that misdirect their true intention... and I like it. If I have a complaint, it's that, after about an hour or so, I forgot I was wearing it, even when sprayed directly to clothes. -I do reviews of perfumes that are safe for migraine sufferers and aid in easing extreme anxiety. This one neither started nor aggravated a migraine. It also calms me down considerably when I'm dealing with high stress. However, because the scent doesn't last long, neither does the effect.

Beyonce has nailed it yet again. I've been waiting for this to be released in my area for over a month and I am not disappointed :). It's beautiful and spicy with just the right amount of fruit (love the fruit selection by the way) and a light floral in the middle. It is very seductive (not as much as the original Heat which still give me, and anyone around me goosebumps when I wear it). It smell very romantic to me. Its wonderful for those summer and fall nights (maybe after a day of wearing Heat Rush) and I will wear it into the winter too, its spicy enough. Big thumbs up on the bottle too, a stunning addition to my collection.

Ok Midnight is probably my favorite from the Heat line. It is DRIVING me CRAZY that I can't figure out what it smells like! It's on the tip of my tongue! I'll figure it out eventually or die trying. Haha! I don't mind that it doesn't last long because it really is my favorite from the line. Gosh Midnight and Pulse are neck and neck as my fav from her really. NICE JOB Beyonce and Coty! Really really nice fragrance and I can see myself gifting Midnight to all the beautiful ladies in my life. Can we talk about that purple bottle?! LOVE IT! : ) REB'L FLEUR!!!!!! My second review at 25 sprays, I stepped out to do window shopping. "I love your scent!" Says a neighbour who picked me up. "Thanks it's Beyonce Midnight Heat," I answer. She says she doesn't like Beyonce with a slight sneer, the person, but I cheerfully say if she's interested in the perfume our local retailers is the way to go for a big discount. With over 20 spritzes this gives a six hour radiation of over 6 feet, then on the drydown a spicy dark feeling which I believe is the black tulip, patchouli and the rest of that starfruit/ dragonfruit. The fruit notes are authentic to my nose, enough said.

It's amazing! I got the bottle off eBay & received it yesterday! It's sweet & spicy. The initial spray starts off with sweet plum & starfruit with undertones of spicyness from the patchouli as well as an extra hit of sweetness coming the amber. As it drys down the florals start to ascend. Although, the spicyness continues to be promenant. The final dry down is definitely more on the spicy side. Over, I feel like it ca pass off as a unisex fragrance because of the spicyness of the base. I really love it for a year round evening fragrance. I can't wait for the body products to come out as well! =]

such a unique sensual scent, dark, alluring and mysterious. it was my first ever perfume i bought as a teen and used to douse myself in it hoping i smelled like beyoncé. ofc bey doesn’t wear this but i love it. i definitely smell the plum and orchid, woven so well. it’s one perfume i’d repeatedly get soo much compliments on, even now. i feel like i’d taken this for granted so many years bc it used to be cheaply available everywhere and now i never see it. just finished my bottle and will miss it, if this had better longevity it would’ve been the perfect perfume.

In a moment of lunacy i sprayed this on and also sprayed the pink heat wild orchid over it. Let it settle yum! I have been mixing the heats together and i find it makes them quite interesting they settle on my skin and with body heat they start to smell really nice. I have also sprayed the pink one with heat kissed and that smells nice too. I also sprayed heat rush lightly over original heat and that mixed well for me. I will never be without these now and in warm weather they really do warm up on your skin and smell so nice.

I really don't understand the reviews if this one saying its poor quality, I absolutely love it! It's my favourite of Beyonce's fragrances and have bought it 4 times since October of 2012 when i first sampled it. It reminds me of a subtler version of Thierry Mugler's Angel, I have been asked several times if i'm wearing Angel whilst wearing this! I used to love Angel, but now i find it was too heavy and strong and have gone off it, in favour this instead! And it's so much cheaper too, You can't go wrong with it! :) <3 <3

The stores where I live got this recently, so I went out and sampled it. The plum is most predominant, but it's a dark, seductive plum. Then it gets a little spicy kick in there, which is nice. The dry down could be a little on the unisex side, as I can still smell the woods and patchouli. I think it smells sensual; it reminds me of being on the beach during a summer evening. I really like it so far and I may end up purchasing it soon. I think this one may be the sexiest one Bey's put out so far.

This is absolutely delicious! I feel as if I am eating the most exotic sweet concoction, made of tropical fruits and flowers, and creams and custard and scrumptious pastries! Yummy!!! Very intense smell, and most unusual. Very tart and sweet at the same time. Enveloping and comforting, and very exotic. Very long lasting and great sillage. Well done Beyonce; I think it's fabulous!!! Gorgeous colour and brilliant bottle too! The whole experience is exhilarating!

When i saw the packaging and the notes here, i really thought that will be a very sensual perfume , but i turned out to smell just like Haribo gummy bears . I like this scent but its just too plain to buy it. As a big fan of Beyonce , i started to collect her perfumes but i rather spend my money on better perfumes ,I don't understand how a woman like Beyonce with all that class, sexiness and style is keeping producing such childish perfumes ?

It's my favorite by Beyonce by far. Dark, deep, yummy and intriguing. I love the notes pyramide. It's unique. Most of all I feel the plum jam, purple orchid with night blooming Cereus. The last one or mixed with dragonfruit gives a coconut feeling somehow. I also feel nice purple peony and sour star fruit. Black tulip I feel less. Of course, I feel amber with patchouli and less sandalwood. Very exotic tropical night fragrance! I'm in love...

This one is my favourite from the entire "Heat" line. I love the heavy-heavy, sweet and seductively carnal patchouli and plum combo. It makes me feel senzual in a very naughty way. It's still a terribly sweet perfume, but it's sweet like like a sin. I also believe that the name fits this one like a glove: I love to wear it in the evenings, as I go out in town. Makes me feel like a cat on the prowl in the heat of a summery night.

When I say I LOVED this perfume you should not underestimate it. This perfume was the sexiest most intimate intoxicating perfume I owned. This was my favourite of Beyonce's perfumes. My second favourite being pulse. I am so sad that I have finished the bottle and its discontinued. I am trying to find a dupe or a perfume with a similar smell but no matter what nothing will beat the way this made me feel.

Super sexy and intoxicating perfume. It does smell artificial and chemically but that doesn’t bother me one bit. It’s so sultry and I can NEVER stop sniffing my damn self every time I have this on me. This has to be the most intoxicating perfumes I own. If I’m being real, it smells like mosquito/bug spray but I DON'T CARE! I love this perfume so much!! So mysterious and intoxicating gosh.

So , finally i received as a gift , i have tasted it before and i have reviewed a quite negative opinion . But i like it now !! Maybe because is Beyonce , maybe because it smells so sweet like gummy bears ! It's very girlie and lovely , like a pink doll ! Definitely i can smell patchouli, plum and sandalwood. I think it is more suitable for spring and fall , on rainy nights !!

I love this sent. I find it vary dark and sexy. I would get complement on this a lot, like at school and church. My uncle even said it smells nice and like Beyonce he is allergic to perfume. When I first had it was in a 15ml & few months ago I finally got a 100ml. Most the time on me this sent last a long time. This is one of my favorite fragrances.

One of those scents I tried to avoid smelling but glad I did. It's a very dark, unique and mysterious scent. The scent is very attractive I recently purchased it to wear for summer nights out on the town. My other pick was Sexy Graffiti by Escada but overall I was a great choice because not too many people I know have Midnight Heat.

Oh, my most sentimental perfume! I used to wear this when I met my soon to be husband. I associate it with falling in LOVE :) It also reminds me of Christmas 2013 when my mom gifted it to me and how everyone told me I smell lovely on new years eve :) So many lovely memories! No doubt I am wearing this next month on my wedding day.

The patchouli is STRONG in this one.. Still I do love it as patch doesn't bother me that much.. The plum is strong and sweet. The only other notes I pick up are the orchid and amber. I can wear it year around but with the heavy patchouli I only wear it at night.. The throw is a good foot and it lasts about 3-4 hours on me.

I was rather surprised by the scent, i'm not normally a big fan of celebrity scents, i find them quite alcoholic and generic but this one was so fruity i couldnt stop smelling it in the store !! There was no first alcoholly first scent, it was straight into the berry scents. Really lovely perfume for everyday wear.

Fruity scent at the beginning, after a while it's the smell of coconut, nice & warm It's nightime summer scent/daytime of fall Imagining nightime being at the beach with my loved ones enjoying beautiful surrounding /just having a good time at home...whatever the nightlife is...i also wear this to bed..

I can definitely smell the fruity top and spicy base. This scent is dark, mature and sensual - the perfect sister to the sharp and clean original Heat. It doesn't seem to go on too strong, so with just a few spritzes you could probably wear it during the day without it getting too heavy.

amazing, lovely one from Beyonce, is so sexy but fun too, with me the patchouli dragon fruit plum orchid and sandalwood are the mostly stay all day with me, love it love love love, i really need to repurchase this again before its gone, so midnight but can wear for a daytime too, yuummyy

I think this is a love or hate kind of scent. It's well blended and soft, but you can smell the patchouli and plum very well. Used to wear it to bed some time ago. Only it doesn't last long on my skin. All in all I can say it's one of my favorite perfumes by Beyonce.

I accidentally bought this when I was meant to buy wild orchid... I find this starts out very fruity and dries down with the same sort of patchouli that midnight poison has. For such a cheapie it's lovely.. not very long lasting but lovely all the same

I actually really love this scent. It's got a definite spicy and sexy feel to it, and when you initially spray it is smells quite sweet but when you have it on for longer it's more spicy and floral. It's a perfect fragrance for nighttime :)

Dark and sensuous. Never fail to be impressed with the fragrances from the Beyonce brand. Smells quite a lot like Pulse, but that is no bad thing. Projection and sillage i think are quite good. Great for a night out on the lash :-)

Dark.. yummy.. fruits, patchouli and dark florals.. Like black tulips and black orchids. Seductive with a spicy kick and still warm with the amber.. I agree with others that this is a great year round, evening scent.

This one is great! Im so in love with the sweetness of plum & starfruit and the dry notes are very soothing. Wore it around 7pm and the scent was still lingering upon waken up the next day. Definitely a keep for me.

Bravoo bravoo!!!! after all i must admit that Beyonce parfums its soo delicious its soo unique from the other celebrity scent like paris or what ever !!!i like the Pulse too but this one its great!!!

I love all of the heat range, but this one just smells gorgeous. Just pure fruitiness in a bottle, so tropical and yummy! I couldn't stop smelling my wrist!

Gummy bears. It is super sweet but I really like it! I did not get 'midnight' heat from it at all since it's sweet but overall, nice scent! :)

Its smells very exotic and very real not syntetic I smell very real sweet mango mixed with some coconut VERY YUMMY

Plum seems to be popping up in a lot of mainstream perfume now, and MIDNIGHT HEAT opens with a dark and rich plum note. Whilst I know it's meant to be star fruit, there is a hint of what smells to me like raspberry. There is also some fig mingled in amongst the other fruit, too. The plum note is much stronger on me then the other fruit notes, so carries down to the perfume's heart and base. I'm not able to separate any floral notes apart from a hint of rose and the peony from the sweetly powdered floral jumble heart of the fragrance, as the patchouli develops quickly and lasts for the duration of the perfume. What I think is meant to be the orchid is slightly spicy vanilla, that makes me think 'Turkish Delight'. The mix of earthy patchouli, powdery florals and rich fruits is very curious; the structure of everything here doesn't really go together on me, but the blend seems lively, and it all works together somehow. There is no strong indication between the heart notes and the base, thanks to the constant presence of the plum and patchouli, that seems stronger then any of the other key scent notes [on me, anyway]. The sandalwood and amber are mingled closely together so it is a warm and creamy mix, that is again similar to the heart notes. *** MIDNIGHT HEAT has better longevity then the earlier Coty/Beyonce releases; a six hour average on me. It's still not amazingly great overall - but it is very good for the price. And at least we're getting some improvement, in term of longevity, as the brand continues, unlike most of the other Coty ranges [I'm looking straight at you Kylie]. I prefer wearing this in colder weather, as the clashing scent notes are more apparent at this time of year. But considering that MIDNIGHT HEAT has some strong keynotes and a sweet drydown, it hasn't become sickly or cloying in the brief patches of mildly warmer weather we've had since I've had my bottle. However I wouldn't wear it on hot days, as I've found patchouli to be a smothering and overpowering scent. MIDNIGHT HEAT was made as the evening wear edition of Heat, but I can comfortably wear it whenever I want [during the day, casually and for work] - over these colder months anyway, as although it is a noticeable fragrance I don't find it cloying or irritating to wear, and other people like it too, so I don't feel that it is invasive to others. In summer I think that I'd stick to using it for special occasions though, as I find it to be a bit of a statement fragrance and a bit too much for day to day wear.

As the name describes; it would be a lovely scent for a warm night. It's not overpowering and it won't knock you over either, it's soft enough to be an easy wear but also has that heady richness to be quite a sexy fragrance. There's a beautiful sweet juicy plum and floral beginning that quickly dries down to a warm slightly smoky decadent tulip, creamy vanilla and patchouli finish. It does really smell..purple lol and I'm glad I gave it a second chance because the tester in the store had a strange, slightly rancid smell on first spray but I gave it half an hour or so while I did my shopping and once it had dried down I could get a few notes that I'm getting now but still with a slighty off smell. Something still pulled me back to it though and I got 100ml bottle for 24 dollars which is quite a reasonable price really. Now that I've used a fresh bottle I can safely say that I'm pretty sure the store tester had turned because what I'm getting from the new one I bought is beautiful, makes me think of laying down on a hot night in a field of black tulips breathing in the sweet summer air. There's an undetlying note that seems to be in all Beyonces Heat fragrances; a sweet orchid note, it's quite light in this one but there nonetheless. I liked origional Heat, did not like the second version she bought out but I love this one. It's less sweet and more sofisticated in a way. And lastly, the dark violet glass bottle is absolutely lovely to look at. Also if anyone looks at the description and gets scared off by the patchouli notes then fear not, they are just delicate enough to give it a bit of spice without being over the top. This is one of those rare perfumes that, if you spray it on your skin and breathe it in deeply it awakens the senses with a perfectly balanced combination of sweet, creamy, smoky, spicy, intoxicating and mouthwatering notes that for a celeb scent are suprisingly perfectly blended. Update: i tried an experiment with this on a really warm night; i mixed 2 sprays of this with 1, just ONE spray of TF Velvet orchid (more than one spray and it completely takes over) and let me just say..it was absolutely amazing. The cool and warm notes from both orchid perfumes completely balanced each other out and the rum and honey from velvet orchid with the sweetness of midnight heats plum really was lovely. I urge anyone who owns both to give it a try, you wont be disappointed.
