Acqua Gardenia

Acqua Gardenia is SO good! And that color scheme on the packaging? Pure 90s! On initial spray, the creamy white floral notes immediately make you think it's going to lean very feminine and stay that way, but the lemon and cucumber water notes make it perfectly suitable for a guy to wear too. The floral notes never get too "flowery" so I think that helps it stay firmly in the unisex camp. The resin & musk accord leave a nice semi-sweet skin scent after a few hours, which you can let it be or spray again to liven up the scent again. I'm a sucker for summer scents and am excited to have this in the collection!

I am extremely not a florals girl, but this came in the sample kit and I figured I'd try it--I love this company's other bold, punchy, fun scents and figured this might work too, especially because one of the few florals I actively like is gardenia. The florals here are wet, juicy, just-misted and placed in a clean vase--probably the cucumber keeping it that way. After the citrus dissipates, I'm left with the beautiful scent of living flowers in the sun. The gardenia here dominates and while I remain wary of florals, this is a really lovely scent.
