Santal Beauty

Lovely, subtle smell. Fresh slightly "citrusy" start, then it evolves to Santal 33 or Papyrus Moleculaire, quite gentle and pleasant. I can not say it has unique smell, but hints of saffron give it some dimensions. I would consider this fragnance as non-offensive, soft and enjoyable, for daily use.

Dry sandalwood with some fresh and airy undertones. Cooling spices (black pepper probably) and something very green (I would say violet leaf). But it definitely smells very vegetative so if you’re not into “dill type of sandalwood”, watch out!

This behaves well on my skin, but ...that’s about as far as it goes. Soft sandalwood, gentle musk, clean and unobjectionable... and unfortunately, for me, completely uninspiring. Don't get me wrong, it is actually a good sandalwood / musk combo, and if that is up your alley you could just love this. Nothing turns sour, nothing screeches .. but personally, I just find it a bit flat and linear, and it never really develops into anything to draw me back in. In summary: A perfectly “nice” scent that I simply wouldn’t ever reach for.

There’s a lot more going on in this than just sandalwood; it's like a lemony, juicy, vegetal green note rises above everything else. I also pick up some white florals. I couldn’t quite bring myself to love this scent; it only becomes pleasant in the dry-down, transforming into a nice “paper” smell. But not like the pages of an old book; more like you've buried your face in the inner pages of a brand-new one. A Light Academia scent.

Woody, planty, and almost minty. This is a cool and medicinal scent on my skin. I feel the sandalwood is overpowered by the other wood and and maybe the bamboo. Cold violet, and maybe a hint of saffron. Not my cup of tea. Unisex, leaning masculine. 5/10

In the opening I get heavy violet and pencil shavings. Hopefully it will mellow on the dry down as I was hoping to get something unique from the saffron, bamboo and amber. I absolutely detest violet, the fragrance isn’t unpleasant per say it just get very deep in my nose and reminds me of those rancid sweets from when I was a kid! This is the second Bibbi fragrance I’ve tried and I adored swimming pool last summer so was keen to try another from their line! Will see how this wears in a few hours and see how it develops or if I end up scrubbing my wrists

when this came out of the bottle it smelled exactly like chlorinated skin and bamboo and i was obsessed with it but on the dry down it leans more citrus. i love the paperiness — it smells slightly inorganic in a way that i actually really dig — but i wish it had stayed weirder longer!

Agree with silkribbon below - it has a kind of chlorine smell, also reminds me a bit of the hot paper fresh from a copy machine. There's a bit of sweetness underneath. Quite a fun one, reminds me a bit of the opening of Clue's Warm Bulb (not quite as interesting though).

Shabby bottle for the price. Top notes are sharp and lemony but very fleeting settles to a green powdery violet. Summery Leans feminine IMHO.
