Soap Club

Soap and leather! The dry down went musky and a touch sweeter when it mixed with my skin. Initially was a bit put off by the leather, but when I went back to it with an open mind, I am head over heels in love!!

Totally in love with Soap Club Bibbi Parfum ✨ Fresh, bold, and incredibly addictive. It’s joyful, unique, and lingers beautifully an instant mood booster and absolute favorite 🤍

I really like it, but I wouldn’t buy it because I own Byredo Animalique and they are very similar. Also to me Animalique feels more harmoniously balanced. I think the vanilla orchid note irritates my nose here, right after spraying, it is a bit 'marzipan like' and for me it does not fit into this perfume. The name is misleading - it’s not a soapy scent at all.

Despite all the floral notes, what I mostly get in the dry down is actually leather. It's a very beautiful leather in the same genre as Neroli Nasimba from Maison Crivelli, but more complex thanks to the florals and sandalwood, and less "harsh". It's my favourite from the brand.

Opens up very skanky! Like a dirty person/barnyard + soap bar. Dries down to a soapy floral suede with only a slight animalic touch. The opening was repulsive but the dry down is very beautiful on me.

I wish I had looked up the notes prior to spraying this right before work. Completely fooled by the name ‘Soap Club’ which makes me think it’s a fresh and clean skin scent, but it was anything but. To me it smells 100% like cigarette smoke. I tried to cut through the leather accord with citrus because I had to go to work and didn’t want to smell dirty and offensive but the leather is very strong and lingered for hours. You’ve been warned!

I wanted to like this, but I smell leather and feces? Is something wrong with my nose?

Imagine a businessman or businesswoman walking into a hyper-modern, all-white office, bright lights, glass walls, wearing a sharp, tailored suit. They smell futuristic, sterile, and incredibly clean, but there is an underlying grit to it. While Soap Club has a distinct, bright white soapy quality, it’s contrasted by a smoky, dark gray leather note that keeps it grounded and slightly 'dirty' in the best way possible. Occasionally, softer, sweeter nuances of vanilla and mimosa peek through. If I had to summarize it, this is a vintage, slightly 'grandma' soapy DNA reimagined for the modern era. It’s entirely genderless, ageless, and non-intrusive, not too sweet, not too floral. Just a mind-blowing, stunningly clean and elegant scent. I am absolutely obsessed.

Dirtier version of TF White Suede, the drydown is very similar.
