X Vanilla

This is so gorgeous. I have Wild Vanilla Orchid and Poets of Berlin, both of which I enjoy wearing, especially as a change from my beloved vanilla gourmands, but X Vanilla is like Jerome Epinette has finally perfected his green vanilla with a bamboo note. X Vanilla is softer (both WVO and PoB can be a bit screechy) and beautifully blended. The bamboo note I adore is present but smoothed over with the cassis and plum (another of my favourite notes) and then the dry down is sweeter and more vanillic, so approaching perfection for my taste. I’m happy Bibbi do 10ml sizes too.

This is the only Bibbi perfume that I love. The mix between the green notes and the vanilla make it for a rare type of gourmand that is not sweet or "sticky". It is very different to any other vanilla I have smelled. I get a lot of compliments with it and it stays very long on myself (most perfumes tend to have almost zero sillage on me). The price point is very high so do please try it and don't blind buy it since it is a very special smell which I can see a lot of people hating.

I have got a sample of this as a complimentary gift, together with the sandalwood one. I find it really interesting. To me, it is a green vanilla where the green and sweet aspects are really blended very well. Galbanum is one of my favourite notes and I love it when it 's mixed with sweeter notes. I think it is totally unisex and quite transeasonal. Unfortunately, the price is very steep, also the travel spray is quite expensive, but I would buy it if I'd find a good deal.

For me, Bibbi's scents are often too loud and dominant. Definitely no bad smells. But they are too loud and special to wear as an everyday perfume. And there are too few occasions to buy a full bottle. Until this perfume... A beautiful powdery and greenish vanilla. A relief after all the sweet vanilla perfumes that dominate the perfume shops. The plum and jasmine give the perfume enough freshness to keep it wearable. Very beautiful and easy to wear.

Green vanilla with sharp catpissy start. If cassis would have been less prominent here, it would have some good potential for vanilla lovers that avoid that sticky generic vanilla at all costs. So far nothing for me, pricing is ambitious too to say the least.

This smells like the easy-going, Summery version of Iris Malikhan. The Galbanum and Vanilla makes it smell near identical, but without the iris and leather, so a lot lighter and easier to wear every day. Love this.

I can see how others enjoy this as it is cozy and different but unfortunately it triggers my migraines :( If anyone is looking for a small size, I have the 10ml bottle and sprayed it maybe 3 times!

Very fresh and summer-y perfume. I wouldn’t wear this but it’s pleasant.
