Bibliothèque de Parfum is a Ukrainian niche house currently operating out of Canada. Their brand concept revolves entirely around storytelling, and the presentation is a literal work of art. The packaging is styled like a luxury hardbound book, complete with a pull-out drawer box that houses the bottle (a bit snug to pull out, but undeniably gift-worthy). As someone who generally avoids sweet gourmands, I do make an exception for a great boozy-liqueur profile—and this hit the mark completely. The Opening: Sits squarely in the same iconic vein as Tom Ford Lost Cherry. It opens with an immediate, photorealistic blast of boozy maraschino cherry and sweet marzipan. It’s rich, nutty, and gloriously intoxicating. The Chemistry: As with almost all cherry fragrances, that sharp, booze-and-marzipan hit comes from benzaldehyde—an aromachemical that is brilliant, but inherently fleeting. The Mid & Dry-Down: As the top notes settle, gentle rose and fleshy red fruits emerge. The dry-down shifts toward a syrupy sweetness where a lingering "ghost" of cherry rests on a cozy, resinous wood and spicy vanilla base. Pro-Tip for Application & Olfactory Fatigue: This is an understated, elegant scent rather than a loud "beast mode" projector—and that's by design. Because benzaldehyde is notorious for causing rapid olfactory fatigue (nose blindness), my best advice for maximum enjoyment is counterintuitively to underspray. Applying with a lighter hand prevents your brain from tuning the scent out, allowing you to enjoy its cozy cherry-vanilla trail longer. The Verdict: A delightfully unisex, sophisticated cherry-liqueur and warm wood fragrance that is absolute perfection for cool autumn weather. Between the stunning bookish presentation and the refined juice inside, this niche house is well worth exploring.

This is sooo good. Lost Cherry was my favorite Cherry until I smelled this. I wasn’t expecting much, because I am picky about Cherry, and most disappoint me. This! This is the best Cherry I have ever smelled! I have smelled them all. Delicious and natural smelling and very long lasting. Perfect for date night or when you want to smell like the most tantalizing snack ever produced. Very sensual. You have to love the cherry almond vibe to appreciate this. So comparing Lost Cherry on one arm and this on the other......there is no musk listed, but LC leans more musky, synthetic smelling compared to this. I am sad to say that, however this house has some great fragrances and I am glad I found it.

Solid Cherry frag. Opens with big cherry notes in your face juicy deep cherry. Almond really extends the longevity of the cherry which lasts as long as say, Duchessa from Gritti, which is eternal. Dry down after about an hour deepens into the richer vanilla and almond. I like this for the price point, no need for Tom Ford anymore. Theres a nice papery quality as it wears, makes it quite a cozy fragrance to experience.

What in the catfish is this brand? I ordered a 100ml of this and the warn and addictive sample set. All the samples are so disappointing and this... trying, but failing to dupe Lost Cherry. I thought the was supposed to be better? 5 concentrated sprays on my arm to test and literally all scent is gone in 20 minutes. Will never buy another thing from the brand again.

Perfumy rzeczywiście są ładnie wiśniowe i przez chwilę na samym początku przypominają Lost Cherry. Niestety któryś ze składników sprawia, że na skórze zostaje już później tylko dziwny wodnisty zapach. Po nutach zapachowych spodziewałam się ciepłych, otulających perfumów, a te niestety działają na skórze (akurat mojej) zbyt świeżo, bardziej jak tani odświeżacz powietrza. Szkoda.

Honestly, this is so much better than TF. I am so happy I purchased this. You dont need a lot, and the dry down is just beautiful! And it lasts! I pair this with Bois de balincourt oil and it tones it down... It is a LOVE for me!
