Polar Lights

I was recommended this over and over on Facebook. I was intrigued for over 2 months but didn't place an order until now. Pros - the bottle and packaging are beautiful, quick shipping, I love that each scent tells a story, affordable niche company from the Ukraine, the notes are right up my alley. I was expecting an effervescent, sparkling elderberry, aldehydic scent that would be perfect for the spring and summer. My expectations was only half achieved. This has very weak performance and smells like a shampoo from the early 2000's. I don't hate it and maybe in time it'll grow stronger in performance. As of now - I am rating it a 2.75-3/5. I am interested in the Lost in Bali - will see if I purchase another.

Beautiful fruity-aldehydic fragrance! Definitely reminds me of Pink Molecule, but has a tiny bit more fruitiness to my nose. The bottle is like a modern version Art Deco and I love it! I was wearing it for New Year's Eve and got plenty of compliments ❤️

Opening has a decent tea note with a tiny hint of lemon but then it blends into a bitter-sweet soapy fragrance like shampoo. Doesn't last very long, thankfully. I've said this before but this house just doesn't do complex scents well. The notes have a tendency to mix together into synthetic sameness if more than one or two are involved.
