Bijan Black Women

Still love it every time I wear it. I really like the fact that this perfume has some transition from one layer of notes to the next one, without just sitting flat on the skin. Especially I love the second phase when tonka bean really shines through. It doesn't have screaming sillage but it does assert itself. The only negative part is the spray. The amount it disperses is so minute that you have to spray double or triple of your usual amount to get the proper sillage and longevity. Great perfume overall.

Wow. This is such a wonderful fragrance. I got this as a fragrance oil a while back and hadn't found it since. It smells very warm yet fresh. It's a mature fragrance but not old ladyi-ish. It has musk but not overbearing. I'll definitely buy one again as an EDP but although I am surprised by the bottle. The bottle style isn't impressive and doesn't match the wow factor of the fragrance. Oh well. The most important thing is the scent anyway.

This isn't what I expected from a fragrance with the word black in the name. I expected something a little deeper and meant for nighttime wear. I think you could wear this any time of the day. Just don't get too "spray happy", a little goes a long way! I pick up tonka beans, sandalwood and musk more than any of the other notes listed on here. It's such a comforting and feminine scent, IMO. I love it!

What a sweet feminine scent this is. It is not too strong, and not too light. The blend of pomegranate and gardenia at first whiff, gently gives way to a rich and spicy sandalwood and tonka bean blend that give a full bodied fragrance experience. I think this perfume is a great buy for the price and could can be worn for any season, day or night.

It is syrupy sweet but in a good delicious way. foody, yummy to bite. juicy-floral, soft, creamy, tender, warm & tempting. a sultry musky-woody base which i can still detect this morning! thumbs very up! love love love it. bottle is very cute :o)

I tested it at Marshalls today, and wow, I was so impressed by how sexy and rich it smelled. And the most important I didn't detect any synthetic notes. Outstanding sillage and longevity too....i can still smell that one spray on my wrist over 3 hours later. I'm going for a large bottle for sure!

I totally agree with most of reviews and they've already explained it very well..opens with a juicy,pomegranate which adds a flirty quality to creamy whitefloral heart,gardenia stays noticeable while woody notes and some musk create a warm,soft base.drydown is all about tonka bean blending with gardenia while I can still get a very faint touch of pomegranate and bergamot and a hint of musky sandalwood,it's not really noir,dark,spicy or bitterish as it's bottle and name suggest.I find it a nice smelling scent which is very easy to wear and versatile without being safe in a boring way,it's wearable for a wide age group and almost year round,however I prefer it for Autumn...nothing is overdone here and it has a richness at the same time freshness which is very pleasing Stays 6,7 hours on my skin.sillage is moderate and all in all it's noticeable for others without bothering anyone.I got a little used 2.5 oz bottle blindly for 14$ from my friend and I don't regret it.I'm not crazy about it but I like it and tend to use it more in fall.it's feminine in a youthful also mature way If you see it for a good deal,get it.you'd like it if you can get along with gardenia which is very soft and likable here ❤❤❤

Bijan Black is another discount find...goofy bottle, but surprisingly intriguing scent. It's like Jo Malone's "Pomegranate Noir" with more sex appeal. The initial application gives you pomegranate plus a light bergamot, followed very promptly by some indistinct but not unpleasant florals ("gardenia", very light jasmine), and sandalwood and musk. There's some nice spiciness as well. And that's the whole story, really; but I must say the dry-down is adorably creamy, though the pomegranate dissipates, and the overall impression is sensuous and interesting. One of the few perfumes with a "noir" theme in the name that actually seems to merit it...As an EDT, duration isn't very long---about an hour or two at most on me. But it's cheap enough to reapply often. But what I'd really like is to find it as an EDP and give that a whirl, because with better duration & the volume dialed up a notch, I think Id really love this.

Mixed fruity-florals, musk, and tonka initially produce a sweet pipe tobacco scent with a sillage that hovers around, not too weak, not too strong, but nice and warm on a cool, rainy day. The scent is fairly linear, gradually changing from pipe tobacco into a straight fruity-floral as time goes on. The scent lasts all day on skin, even through a shower, and probably on clothes until they’re washed. BB is actually nice to wear, although I wouldn’t buy a bottle of it. The pipe tobacco opening distinguishes it from other fruity-floral oriental wannabes of its ilk, and it is cheap, providing a reasonably good fragrance for the money.

Not available in New Zealand so I brought it online, after checking the comments and ingredients on this site plus the price was reasonable (yes I argree with Annie D decription below)also I found this perfume very similiar to Calvin Klein EUPHORIA,( which I love ) OK it is not as heavy, but still as a softer, lighter , delightful fragrance and easy to wear at all times I was not disapointed with my purchase. This is strong, beautiful scent, bold perfume but in same row sophisticated as could be. A little bit reminds me, just a whiff, to CK Euphoria, but in more softer way. Bought online (great price too), as a blind buy, I am such a lucky girl. PS. Usually I don't like "black" perfumes, I am affraid, they has not well blended leather in, they are a bit masculine and in some way animalic, but not this gem- I adore it!

Very nice perfume. To me gardenia prevails. It reminds me of Cristal Noir by Versace (but this one is not spicy and it's creamy) probably because of the gardenia note. Very feminine and joyful fragrance. Suitable for young and mature women (not very mature though).

Similar to Bulgari Black. Dry down reminds me of a very light powdery version of Dior Hypnotic Poison.

It's ok, but not what I had expected. I did a little research on this fragrance before I purcased it. I read all the reviews here and looked into the notes. It's not nearly as spicy as I would have liked. I thought it would be a cross between Bvlgari Black and perhaps Ciara..which would be far spicier and headier than what I am experiencing. It's a little too "floral sweet" and fruity for me. I'm not getting very many woodsy notes either. It seems a little flirty and young for my taste. But, I think that opinion has a lot to do with the fact that I am fairly conditioned to ambery/oriental/spicy fragrances like Opium, Obsession, and again- Ciara. This fragrance seems more like a cross between Byblos and mabye a touch of Casmere Mist. Not for me. Too bad, because I love the bottle.

I am a huge Fire & Ice lover. Upon reading the review that this is the same as F&I I've decided to test it. To me, this didn't AT ALL smelled like F&I. True, it is ambery and spicy. But it lacked the creamy/orangey delicateness of F&I. Very deep and spicy to my nose. And not as pleasant as F&I because there's no creaminess to counter-balance all that spice. It's definitely a "noir" perfume. For those of you who love F&I, feel free to try this, but don't expect it to replace it. There's only one F&I.

After 1 hour it becomes sweet and soft, but it reminds me quite a bit of Dolce&Gabbana for MEN! Yes, for men - I think it is masculine. I am not a fan and my boyfriend hated it.

Like others I thought this would be stronger, instead I got a soft and sexy oriental floral where rose and gardenia are main players. However the rose and gardenia are not strong and are rather soft and powdery. I like it a lot, the tonka adds the powdery tone, while pomegranate adds a crip note which keeps it fresh. Very nice composition and fair lasting power, and for the price of this it couldn't be beat!

Bijan Black for women opens with a fresh pomegranate top note that softens into a creamy gardenia and tonka bean blend. As it drys down the gardenia stays throughout the life of the fragrance, but you can smell more of the tonka bean and sandalwood. It’s a beautiful sweet white floral with a woodsy undertone. I received this as a gift from a very dear friend so it will always hold a special sentiment to me!

I love this one so much so many reasons. I get man compliments each time I wear it. I feel comfortable wearing it day and night. The best way I could describe this scent is sweet, but at the same time fresh. Its a scent I feel is not too young or mature... not too feminine but still sexy and noticeable. Smells nice from beginning to end. I would surely recommend this scent for its price. I love it.

beautifull fragrance i bout it for myself in 2007 then i gave it to my mom and she loved it as did everybody else who smelled it. she got a lot of compliments for it especially from litlle kids (she is a kinderg. teacher).so as children don't lie, this relly is good. honestelly it smells great. floral fruity with a sensual dry down. good for a night in 2. interesting bottle too. very sexual

I reaaaally love this perfume. It is sweet but in a good delicious way. It is veeery long lasting and many people have told me that I smell very good. I would say it smells abit like Versace Crystal Noir but has a more fruity smell in it.

Yes this a lovely perfume sexy and mysterious the pomegranate in this comes out as blueberries yummy, the florals, musk and sandalwood all are potential game players what a scent Bijan well done!!!! and very affordable.

I just bought this perfume! I smell a lot of the gardenia on me. It does have a powdery dry down. It smells great! I layer it with the body lotion and it seems to last more than just a few hours.
