Your Turn

I've personally never been the biggest fan of celebrity fragrances, however Billie has always been the exception. No. 1 is a pretty Vanilla scent, however not for me as the Vanilla is just a tad too sweet for my taste. No. 2 on the other hand is one of my favorite fragrances to wear. It's dark and inviting and slightly sweet and floral. I have yet to smell No. 3 as it's hard to find. Your Turn departs from this original line and I was hoping that it would maintain the same quality that the Eilish line has. I can confidently say that the multiple times I have sampled this that it definitely holds up to her previous fragrance endeavors. Describing the fragrance really isn't that difficult and to be honest I am sure a lot of people might find this scent boring or worn out. Billie is essentially giving her take on a Sandalwood fragrance, ala Santal 33. I wouldn't say it smells like Santal 33 but if you know what that general scent profile smells like then you pretty much know what to expect with this fragrance. The only aspect of this fragrance that makes it stand out amongst it's contemporaries in this profile is the Peach note that lingers for a bit in the middle of this fragrance. Otherwise, you kind of know what to expect. For some, this may be a turn off. If you are not a fan of Sandalwood, you will not like this. I happen to love Sandalwood scents, so this fits right in my wheelhouse. I will note that the Sandalwood in Your Turn does get more and more soft the longer you wear it. I do not particularly mind it, however it is worth mentioning. If you already have a Sandalwood fragrance you own and love, you do not need this one. It doesn't reinvent the wheel or add anything drastic enough to make it feel any different than the other fragrances in this category. I have Rhue, the Oakcha dupe of Santal 33 and it smells roughly the same as this minus the Peach note. I may end up purchasing Your Turn in the future but I do not feel it is a must have scent. The only knock that I have ever really had with any of the Billie Eilish fragrances would be longevity and sillage. None of her fragrances have ever lasted more than about four to five hours on me and they have never really projected beyond a small arms length. I was hoping that would change with this fragrance, however it is roughly the same. Longevity is slightly better than the Eilish line, sillage is about the same. It's worth noting though that this is rather common for celebrity fragrances and the longevity and sillage of this fragrance as well as the Eilish fragrances are about on par with what you would get from an Ariana Grande fragrance or most other designer EDP's you'll find at Ulta, Sephora, Macys, etc. All of that being said, I personally love this scent. It opens slightly strong and settles in to a really soft and inviting profile. It feels like a skin scent that has been elevated into an EDP and knows exactly what it want's to be. It will not be for everyone. If you don't like Sandalwood, stay away. If you value really amazing longevity and sillage, stay away. A full 3.4 oz bottle of this retails for $90, so you would hope for better wear, especially with other fragrance companies being able to achieve this scent profile for a fraction of the price. Still, you'd pay at least $150+ for any full size designer perfume from Burberry, YSL, Valentino and Carolina Herrera with ever so slightly more longevity and projection, if not the same. It also goes without saying that if you are just simply a Billie Eilish fan, you can probably just buy this and not worry about anything else.

Earlier today, while browsing in Ulta, I almost walked right past the sample display of this without stopping. I’ve read the comments here, and most are negative, so I had no intention of trying on Your Turn. But the flacon was just so unusual, I paused and picked it up. I took off the top and sniffed the spritzer... A slight spiciness and a resinous hint of... cedar? Iso e super, perhaps?...teased my nose. “Ah”, I thought, “Unisex. Okay...nice.” No surprises, but nice. I spritzed my wrist, blew gently to dry, closed my eyes, smelled, and...WHOA! I swooned. Hot DAMN. Kiss my hot southern grits. This stuff is gorgeous! Smh. Should have known better than to 100% trust all the negative comments. I suspect some were probably hoping for a return to a more gourmand frag in the same vein as E#1. Sorry kids. Better luck next time. Your Turn has a very slight Santal 33 lean, but,... Mmmmmmm😋 —there’s ginger/cardamom/coconut and a wonderfully green, tart peach skin note in there. It’s certainly different enough from Santal 33 to avoid being pigeonholed into dupeland imo. But, if you like Santal 33, there’s a good chance you’ll like this, and the two aren’t so similar that if you have one, you can do without the other. And no overwhelming dill-like assault of methyl laitone thank goodness, which on me turns to straight up pickle juice. I love pickles, yummy crisp pickles... just not on my skin. It’s true that Your Turn is reminiscent of E#2, but compare the two and you’ll find E#2 is the more woodsy fragrance. I found the longevity and projection of YT to be pretty powerful, so this doesn’t require much to communicate the aroma, nor does it require frequent touch ups. I apply a single light spritz to my inner elbows and tops of my bewbs... one, two, three and that’s it. You’re set, and you’ll catch whiffs of yourself all day. Try sleeping with this, because the dry down you’ll wake up to is wonderful. Again, referring to longevity and projection, in case I wasn’t clear enough here?— —THIS FRAGRANCE IS NUCLEAR. Mmm-kay? Careful, this one, she roars! 😼😉 I do not recommend wearing Your Turn if you have to be out in hot/humid weather for a long time. This is potent juice. So for all the soccer moms out there, when you have to sit outside a long time watching your kids play a game...might I suggest wearing a nice light freshie instead?

The scent itself is immensely alluring, with the fruity, almost wet notes of Velvet peach skin, Bergamot peel and Coconut water complementing the much more dense and rich notes of Night blooming jasmine and Australian sandalwood, making this an extremely sensually provocative fragrance. The fruity notes in here are more spicy and toned down especially Fresh ginger, for me personally they are more of a background addition to the fragrance. They are more bitter than fresh or citrusy making Your Turn more mature. The Peach skin and Bergamot peel give a very zesty and wet feeling to this, again it gives off more of a background addition to the scent in general. The Night blooming jasmine and coconut water provide a touch of rich sweetness that you can almost smell at the top once the fragrance settles down for a bit. Australian sandalwood as the base of Your Turn is a very unique choice and complements the top notes, you can smell it from the very first spray. The oriental and soft wood layout a pleasing lingering base scent that is present throughout. In addition, Captive musks and Upcycled SylvamberTM in the base notes elevate the sandalwood note even more and deliver a musky touch to the base. I love that Billie Eilish chose to market this as a Unisex fragrance (the way that it should be for all fragrances). Scent doesn't have a gender and if anything Your Turn supports this concept in every way possible. My only wish that i have for Your Turn and generally for all of Billie Eilish's fragrances is that i would want them to be a little bit more stronger (Longevity & Sillage) as again it's a very intimate scent. In a way this works for this as it's quite sensual and a deep scent. Also because of it's close sillage it work's for any time of day making it versatile for any occasion.

This is a beautiful milky sandalwood when first sprayed, quickly morphing to something a little warmer as the cardamom comes out. Right before dry down it becomes a little fresher and I get more of the coconut water note as well as a bit of the fruity floral contribution of peach and jasmine. I'm not a fan of either peach or jasmine, but here, to my nose, they strictly play a supporting role. The ginger is subtle, and adds warmth but not a ton of spiciness. The mature scent on me is a gorgeous, complex creamy sandalwood with subtle hints of spices and a tiny touch of freshness. I knew I would love it because of its cardamom and sandalwood, but I enjoy it more than I even thought I would. This sits close to the skin with some, but not a lot of, projection. The lasting power is similar to most other sandalwood dominant perfumes I own, which is moderate but not double-digit hours. I have the first three fragrances in Billie Eilish's line, mainly because the notes happen to appeal to me. IMO, it's rare that a famous singer's fragrance line isn't entirely sweet, fruity, and/or floral. I like Eilish Nos. 1-3, but I don't see how this is similar to any of them, especially Eilish No. 2, which some people are comparing it to. Eilish No. 2 is very strongly papyrus and dry woods on me, while this is much more creamy and sweet woods, with a traditional "perfumey" backbone of musk, flowers, and fruits. If you are looking for any specific notes to stand out other than sandalwood, you might be disappointed. But if you adore a complex, creamy sandalwood with subtle additions of other aspects, this could very much be for you.

I'm in love with this fragrance. I went through a travel size in 2 weeks because I would just over spray. I would sometimes just spray on my hands and inhale. It's so fresh and aromatic. Heavy on the sandalwood. My first impression was that it was a masculine aromatic, airy, Woody fragrance with a slight sweetness to it. And now that I've had time to play around with it, I've realized that this is very signature scent worthy in the fall. I defuse sandalwood around the house frequently and the fragrance is 1% creamy in my opinion from the sandalwood but 99% airy. Very fresh and spicy the first few seconds. I think I am so sad to see nobody reviewing this fragrance on YouTube on Instagram, social media at all. I think this scent is something I've never smelled before and hope that in 2055 it will have a cult following. Is such an aromatic fragrance. The wind just really carries this fragrance whenever I'm outdoors. It reminds me of a spa lobby. I smell the same peach in hundred silent ways. And I smell a little bit of paper by commodity. Definitely could be niche. I'm not even a a fan of Billie. She also said that this is the fragrance that she wears . I initially thought the bottle was extremely tacky but now that I smell the fragrance I feel that it is perfect for the fragrance. Maybe it could be shaped like a regular bottle but with the same Platinum iridescent color. Projection is great but longevity for me is 4 hours. I don't get any coconut water, everything is extremely well balanced here. If you can't smell the sweetness and this fragrance, you're probably going to think it's masculine leaning.

Spicy cardamom start, woody mossy green, sexy, sharp citrus, interesting, unisex - more male leaning. Yes, it is reminiscent of Santal 33 the more time passes & like Santal 33 it is a little too masculine for me to wear in public but I love it around the house. A little strong, masculine, and sharp for me at the start but I like it more the more time passes - it becomes softer and more feminine. *Edited to add: I tried this in the evening, went to bed, and when I woke up the next morning I could still smell it so it lasts at least 12 hours. I took a shower & it was gone after so not sure how much longer it may have lasted beyond 12 hours.* There is this cedary fresh woody green smell that I’m chasing & it’s very present after about 30 minutes of wearing. It reminds me of a cedary spruce forest in the Pacific Northwest with moss growing everywhere and a fresh rain just went through. I’m not sure what it is, I’m obsessed. It’s the part that I love so much in my beloved discontinued Balenciaga b, and what I like in Santal 33 & Glossier You. Balenciaga B is the only version that is feminine enough for me to wear out. I made a list of the notes that some of these fragrances have in common & they include: Amber/ambrette/ambroxan, cedar, violet, iris, sandalwood, cardamom. There is no single ingredient that is present in all 4 fragrances so I still don’t know what exactly it is that I’m obsessed with.

I’ll be honest when I first tried this perfume I was intrigued by the bottle, which I think is very masculine looking, and it made sense that it was another release by Billie Eilish. I wasn’t expecting much because I tested the first edition of her perfume line and it just smelled like any celebrity scent and had no sillage whatsoever when I left the store. However, on first whiff I was like ... oh! And I sprayed it on my wrists and around my neck. To my surprise, when I came home, the scent was still there, and strong! It was like frankincense and ambery spice - which I was surprised wasn’t in here because I heard that amber was her favourite scent, albeit a couple years ago - but also really warm and inviting, almost like the spunky daughter of oud (if that makes sense, lol). I’ve come across hundreds of overly-sweet, watered down celebrity and designer fragrances, this has to be my favourite. Maybe this and JLo Glow original stand out to me as truly personal projects with a story behind it. Also, ab a week later, I could still smell this on the jacket I was wearing that day! This thing has staying power and I’m so so impressed. Just bought a full 100ml bottle. I’m so excited to wear it to work and just out and about - any time/season. Could easily be someone’s signature. If you’re wearing this I’ll definitely tell you you smell gorgeous.

I believe that a lot of people that are disappointed in this perfume are likely off-put by how different of a scent this is compared to other celebrity perfumes. Most people probably are expecting/wanting another gourmand or vanilla scent because duh those are delicious and great and all, but honestly those scents become boring and repetitive. I think people are also put off by how unisex/slightly masculine this scent it, especially considering Billie Eilish's audience is mostly younger women. To me Your Turn smells like a "colder" version of Santal 33. I think I prefer Your Turn to Santal 33, at least at the moment. This is a more masculine scent but in a way that I love as a woman. Wearing this scent makes me feel more confident. I find this scent to be more adventurous and outgoing than other scents that I love which are typically more cozy skin scents. The sandalwood is strong but I am obsessed. I believe the ginger. cardamom, and coconut water are giving me that "cold" scent to it. I feel like this is a great spring and summer scent. I'm not sure how much I'll be reaching for it during the fall and winter but I guess we will see. This scent makes me feel cool. Also I love the bottle. Overall I am obsessed with this fragrance and I find unisex scents to be very sexy

I can't stop smelling this. There isn't much to this, but I find this really addictive. According to the Eilish website, the top notes are: Bergamot Peel, Cardamom Pod, Fresh Ginger. I get none of this. The middle notes: Velvet Peach Skin, Night Blooming Jasmine, Coconut Water. I don't smell peach, but I get the texture of peach skin, if that makes sense. I feel soft and fuzzy while wearing this. Maybe I get a touch of jasmine and coconut water, but the jury is still out. The base notes: Sandalwood Australia, Captive Musks, Upcycled Sylvamber. This scent is ALL about big, creamy sandalwood. It's very rich and a little sweet. Sylvamber = Iso E Super. This makes sense, this fragrance has tremendous push. Spray a few times and this scent has no problem making itself noticed. This is super musky, albeit clean and polished. I think this is a pared down, sexy skin scent with a lot of oomph. It smells great on its own, but I also think it would play well with others. They didn't reinvent the wheel with Your Turn. There is nothing new about sandalwood forward scents like this. But for whatever reason, this one works remarkably well on my skin. Damn I smell good when I wear this. I love it.

This is a skin scent. A magic one indeed. Unexpected little mastery of magic here, an invisible trail yet so distinct and refined. It's a skin scent, molecule iso E allows for a LOT of changes on every different skin type according to your pH. So no one gets the exact same result, but that's the point. It becomes truly unique to YOU. Your dna infuses the perfume and viceversa. This fragrance is a fresh hide and seek, super captivating and makes you want to lean in more each time to explore it. As a book, this perfume is FLATLANDIA by Abbott, inviting you to see things from a different perspective. As a disney character, this is Peter Pan and his fairy dust. I LOVE IT. SO SUBTLE YET DECISIVE, VERY VERY INTERESTING. On me i do not smell peach at all, the jasmine is very shy ( which i appreciate ) , the cardamom i usually love i can't pin point but he must be there i'm sure, the woody and Iso E make it so earthy and aethereal at the same time. Bottle is super unique and feels and looks amazing in your hands, gorgeous fragrance for men and women. Will be adding to my collection. Again can't believe the price ! Smells more high end for sure. Deserves more credit.

Here is the true and honest review you are looking for: The fragrance opens with a mildly sweet, earthy, rich sandalwood note that comes across as very classy and expensive. It keeps that note but also quickly dries down slightly to expose hints of lush coconut but the peach doesn’t show. The sweetness comes from the night blooming jasmine and it really helps blend together all of the other notes. The sillage/projection is great, the longevity is not as good but still not bad at all. The bottle design is so sleek, easy to use and is definitely Billie’s best. Another thing to mention is that right at first when you spray this perfume, it can come across as a strong oud, some people find this nauseating and headache inducing (SOME PEOPLE, I personally find it lovely) but don’t worry, that oud smell does not last, it dissipates within a few minutes. This fragrance is more masculine than any of Billie’s other fragrances and it is NOT like no.2, sure it has a little bit of similarity but not as much as all of these people are making it seem. I give this fragrance a 9.5/10. 100% recommend.

This is so freaking sexy, I ran back to the store immediately after testing it to exchange my original purchase for this lil hottie. As a long time Santal 33 hater, I believe this has a sweetness and depth that S33 lacks imo. Also no pickles, yay! :D This is in the same family as Versace Crystal Noir and TF Black Orchid, but maybe the younger goth sister or cousin. Definitely not for those who enjoy lighter, fresher notes. Even though this is for sure a slightly masculine leaning unisex fragrance, I can envision a VERY cool, effortlessly chic woman wearing this. Props to Billie for coming out with something relatively subversive in the celebrity fragrance genre! If you like sweet and/or woody scents and you’re in the market for something different, I’d for sure give this a chance. Bottle design is very cute too, I just wish the cap came off easier lol.

It seems to me that the negative reviews are largely due to the fact that people who are interested in trying a fragrance from a young female singer are the ones who gravitate towards sugary vanilla teenage-dream scents, like the first Eilish perfume. Your Turn steers a little into niche territory, decidedly unisex, bold, self-assured, individualistic. The first time I tried this perfume in the store I did not like it very much but still there was something that drew me in so I tried it again a couple months later and spent the whole day wearing it. I was sold. The perfume is sandalwood heavy which is probably where all the "too masculine" reviews come from. However, it does have a noticeable fruity spin. I find that the longer it sits on my skin the drier and sweeter it gets. Its a very sexy perfume, especially in the summer.

I’m a bit confused after reading reviews: I love this scent! It’s my first Eilish perfume so I have nothing to compare it to, and it was a blind buy. The combination of sandalwood, coconut, and peach is delicious. It feels soft, sweet, and a little buttery (no clue if that’s a word used to describe perfume but it’s how I feel). I have a lot of perfumes with “bergamot” and “cardamom” and I’m still very unsure as to what that smells like. Clearly, I like it. That said, I read reviews before purchasing and was expecting a much more masculine fragrance. To me, this feels very feminine. I can’t tell if we have different noses or if my scale is different. I own a mix of masculine and feminine fragrances, so maybe feminine to me is unisex or masculine to others. Pleasantly surprised and very happy with my purchase!!

My favourite Billie Eilish perfume thus far. Although I am partial to woody/ambroxaney scents so that's probably why. For a fragrance with a molecular note, this smells a little bit less niche compared to, say, something like Not A Perfume by Juliette Has a Gun or something like that, and imo more unisex than Glossier You OG. Smells kinda similar to Le Labo's Gaiac 10, but that one is a little more masculine than this one and this is cheaper too Projection is also much more pronounced here compared to the two I named above. I personally think it is blind buy safe, unless if you know your body chemistry is prone to picking up pickle notes from fragrances that contain these sorts of green, woody notes. The bottle design is cool in theory, but I find it awkward to hold when using it.

I was curious to try Your Turn, and honestly, I wasn’t disappointed. Right away, it gave me this adventurous vibe, like late night drives when you feel like something exciting might happen. The scent itself really caught my attention. It’s this cool mix of peach, wood, and musk. Smooth, a little mysterious, and kind of addictive. I usually go for vanilla scents, so this was a bit different for me, but in a good way. It’s deeper and more interesting than I expected. It also lasts a while and definitely leaves a mark. It might be a bit strong for people who like lighter scents, but if you want something that stands out, this is it. Some people say it smells too masculine, but I think it’s just bold. It feels like something you'd wear if you’re confident without needing to show off.

The opening doesn’t blow me away. Fresh/fruity - almost boozy, woody and a little gives me bit of a spa vibe. The dry down, however. I love it. The woodyness becomes this very comforting and familiar scent on my skin. It definitely leans more on the masculine side (not a deal breaker in my book - I like woody and leathery notes a lot) but its a very easy and inoffensive wear on anyone, to some it might be too subtle even. Maybe I’m still in the newness phase of things, but I could see this become a favorite - maybe even a signature - in the long run. I usually don’t go for celebrity fragrances - but this one and Love Notes Vanilla Suede by Ariana Grande are, in my opinion, very classy and, if not unique, definitely interesting. Would recommend, but not as a blind buy.

I finally have your turn by billie eilish perfume and I smell it and I am wearing it and honestly I really love it so much I does not smell unisex at all It doesn't smell like men would wear it it smells like more a girly feminine woman's perfume it smells so fruity and sweet and so girly it's smells nothing like elish no 2 your turn and elish no 2 complety smell different perfumes there both not smell the same at all but I would keep buying your turn over and over again I hope it doesn't get discontinued and even my mum loves the smell of your turn perfume so I'm going to buy her a 100ml from priceline it's the best perfume out of her collection your turn is my new signature scent

I love that Billie's taste is evident in whatever medium she creates with. She's crafted and signed off on a smell she loves to wear and has packaged it in a metaphor for making a gamble. That is, whether people will like it or not. She's had her time with it and now it's our turn to either love it or hate it. The smell is sooo delicious to me. It has the addictive qualities of Santal 33, but the coconut water, peach, and night blooming jasmine soften everything like shampoo before it gets too grunge. Urban Outfitters has this fragrance from Ind., called "Skin", and the musk and iso e super in here remind me of that. This one's a 9/10 for me :D Very evocative.

WAITT the bottle is two dice and it is called 'Your Turn', get it?? Like in board games. You pass them the dice when your turn finishes. For some reason I feel a genius for realising this, haha, don't ridicule me please. Anyways apparently Billie has been wearing this at her tours and everything recently. I haven't been this excited to try any of her perfumes before, since the notes don't interest me as much as this, but I am extremely intrigued with these nights. The middle notes? Perfection! Jasmine, coconut water and peach! Sadly, it is WAY out off my price range, but I hope that when I test it, it will not let me down! Bottle is cute too!
