No 15 Jungle Tobacco

Honey, glaze, tobacco and everything else is good. I feel a bit similar to Zoologist - Bee because of its sweet honey, beeswax character. This perfectly complements and rounds out the oriental, strong character of the tobacco. The heliotrope and tonka create an incredibly pleasant sweet, powdery accord that accompanies and supports the honey tobacco character throughout. And in the top note, the cardamom is in clear contrast with its slightly camphoraceous, green, warm spicy profile. A real speciality, especially when applied to the skin ;-)

Smells like bees wax / rich clover honey. Spicy but not sweet. Nice perfume but I don't think the listed notes align with the actual fragrance. Also the fragrance doesn't change much over time. Overall a very nice and unique scent to add to a collection. Closest scent I have to it in my collection is byredo eyes closed but this is less sweet. Also projection is much lower but with the warm comforting notes of the fragrance I think it adds the appeal.

The shell of a nut, hay, wood chips, a flake of dark honeyed chocolate, heliotrope fog, morning sun. My impression of the scent is completely different than the notes listed and could be described as a 3 act play of animal associations: Horses: The opening feels a bit like when you walk into a horse barn and are overwhelmed by that smell of the wood, horses, manure, sweet hay. Warm brown. While that clearly wasn’t the vision for the fragrance, this is one of the "horse"-ier scents I have tested. Bees: The middle is very honey-forward, in a way that is similar to Zoologist Bee (waxy, grassy, earthy, animalic kind of honey - not too sweet). Cats: The drydown smells like the soft fur behind a cat’s ear. Divine!
