No 21 Magnolia Underground

Wow!! This is such a gorgeous take on coffee. Starts with crispy (slightly green) coffee and quickly turns into crispy bubble gum. By time, these crispy edges get smoother and the fragrance experience turns into a bowl of petals drown in Baileys. As the final scene, slightly milky magnolia farewells you. This is not a warm nor a burnt brown sugary take on coffee. There are only 2 perfumes in my collection that I would call as a masterpiece and ''Magnolia Underground'' is one of them along with Ruby Red. I think a trained nose would appreciate it more, as this does not represent a regular scent profile. If only one word could be used to describe this fragrance: ''Wow!!!''

I agree with below, this is a "green" coffee. Magnolia has a crisp celery type of smell to my nose, but this adds a fresh and green effervescence to the milky, slightly maple-flavored coffee. This is gorgeous and refined. Definitely not for fragrance noobs. Not blind buy safe. Starts off cold and sharp then warms into a soft and soothing aroma. Longevity and projection are surprisingly moderate. This is enjoying a morning cup of coffee sitting in a garden of dewy magnolias.

A very realistic magnolia flower sprinkled with coffee on a milky/musky base. Intoxicating and magnetic smell that captures the image of drinking coffee surrounded by blooming magnolias during a humid southern morning. This house wasn't in my radar but after sampling this, I can't wait to go back to Paris and visit their boutique to sample the entire collection.

Well, we've arrived. The real coffee liqueur miracle. It's like pouring Baileys liqueur all over myself while rolling around in magnolia petals. A very interesting half gourmand type scent. Brutally long-lasting and diffused. A must for anyone looking for an interesting, more artistic niche gourmand or just a plain sweet scent.

This is a unisex, any time/any place fragrance. The first spray is sweet and uplifting. Not sure why I'm picking up on something fruity, like powdered oranges. 30 mins on my skin and the magnolia has completely opened up. So dreamy. There’s something synthetic that comes up -- maybe ambrox super? A big inhale makes me feel like I singed my nose hairs. Update: can smell this on my sweater the next day and it is so intoxicating. I haven't smelled many like it before.

Maybe it's the musk, but I smell something almost ambergris-y in this. Otherwise, it's a very sweet, floral scent with some powdery undertones. It's a like, not a love.

The musk is sharp in this. It instantly reminded me of the musk in Mashumaro. It is repulsive like roach spray to my nose. It’s a pass for me. 1/10 for me.

If you’re sensitive to the overdose of synthetic woody ambers, watch out!

An incredible fragrance that, alas, on my skin, smells like apricot yogurt. On blotter, it's a wonderful roasted and milky coffee, but on my skin, it becomes fruity, blond and creamy. A springtime Magnolia champaca, milky and floral. It's magnificent, but wearing it breaks my heart because the coffee is nonexistent. I can smell it so clearly on the blotter, though. What an injustice... 7.5/10

I second the Embodied~Professor. The amberwood is here drowning almost everything else to begin with. A liquer smell reveals itself from underneath but the purported coffee n florals are barely to be found. I'll be washing the back of my hand for the next two days in a Lady Macbeth way trying to get rid. I really must get some blotters to test on first!
