Berlin Fever

How wonderful Berlin nights would be if they really were like this perfume! A cold, pungent tobacco, opened by cardamom and marked by nutmeg, really intense and very pleasant. For me personally, the vanilla scents take over really slowly on my skin, so it is a really strong, incisive and very pleasant scent to smell on oneself and also on others. Again, a wonderful surprise. Appropriate for all occasions, but in my opinion wonderful in winter

This is, essentially, almost 1:1 Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille to my nose. Not only that, it's longevity is superior, and it almost has a bit of an airy quality to it, without that negatively impacting it's projection or sillage. Given this is on discounters for just over $115 CAD for 100ML, this is honestly a no brainer over it's TF counterpart, which is undeniably beautiful, but criminally overpriced when alternatives like this exist.

It is a spicy sweet tobacco fragrance that smells more akin to Tabac Exquis by Caron than Tobacco Vanille, but I can see the comparison to TV in the drydown. Either way, it's a bliss if you love tobacco fragrances.

Shampoo, celebrity fragrance, and tobacco. I got a sample last year and finally got to test it one more time. It's much softer than I remember. The tobacco is light and smooth, almost floral. To me this smells like a Berlin girl I would randomly meet in front of a spati in Fshain or sit next to in the U2, who smells like shampoo and wears the same sweet-fresh-floral celebrity fragrance since uni. She still lives in a WG and smokes tobacco indoors occasionally, so her clothes smell just a bit of tobacco too. I kinda like it.

Tobacco Vanille by TF is one of my top favorite fragrances of all time and this Berlin Fever resembles it by good 95%. Very subtle difference. Tobacco note is very strong.

No way I'm gonna wear this. Smells like Linden tea, good thing it wasn't expensive.
