Berlin Soul

This was a powerful scent for me. I have renamed it in my mind as "Nymphomania." The whiskey intoxicates, the wood burns, the smoke clouds, the musk sweats, the nuts crack. It began as a powerful fireplace fantasia and went on a journey through different locations -- a cabin's fireplace at midnight, the den of a wealthy patriarch, a used but perfumed nightclub's private rooms -- and ended as this sweet, musky, addictive smoke that kept seducing me back. It evoked the feeling of waking up at 4am after already spending the entire night love-making and then going at it again. And again. And again. Closed curtains blacking out the morning sun. I went to the gym while I had this on and it combined so seamlessly with my own sweat it was like I naturally exuded this smell. Very animal. I imagine this scent will react differently on others' skin. Probably not a safe blind buy. This lingered on me for a sinful amount of time. Like... I swear I would smell traces of it for a week. I have rated this "Love" to give credit for it's evocation and it's match with my body chemistry. However, not something I would wear on a regular basis.

Such a delicious whiskey/hazelnut opening, and then it develops into soft woods with a touch of iris. Dry down is good, but the opening is to die for.

Another Black Afgano clone. Woody, aromatic, & a bit spicy. Lighter, & thus more wearable, than Black Afgano & most of the other clones.

immediately like it on my friend second time when i met him, so so appealing, easy to love on first sniff. i had to ask him which bottle did he use. Whiskey on top, extremly masculine and then mix of iris, tobacco and wood after. Sillage is more than everage but it good enough for me, 1 arm length sillage i think. Personally i think it would be more suitable for men
