Paris - Mon Amour

The sesame in this is DIVINE. The vibe is heavenly. Definitely elegant french lady at afternoon tea. The vanilla plays so well with the sesame, with the floral notes (the orchid is also very prominent) fleeting in and out. I just discovered this line and was really impressed by several of their fragrances, including grasse (blackberry and licorice - who would of thought?), and st. Tropez. This one, however. Is definitely my favorite. A great gourmand alternative - unique, comforting and delicious.

I love a sesame note, but unlike others I don't find it overwhelming in this. I find it provides a bit of a counterpoint to the powdery florals. Need to get a bottle of this.

Smells like Satin Vanilla with sesame. The sesame is an interesting lighter-nutty note. But that's all I can smell when I smell this perfume is that sesame. It kind of takes over the entire composition. I like it, but that sesame is keeping me from Loving it. I wish this didn't have the sesame and the orchid note was stronger.

This smells like a powdery, slightly floral slightly marzipan pudding. Not full bottle worthy for me because it has a similar vibe to Jo Malone’s Scarlet Poppy, which I prefer, but it’s much more interesting than I expected.

Very chic yet comforting scent. A blush pink gossamer silk scarf with pearls, and stays that way on the blotter. Unfortunately, on my skin, the dry down turns weird and medicinal, kind of like sniffing a bottle of pills. That's skin chemistry for ya.

Goes on super sweet caramel vanilla, passes through a powdery iris/orris stage and settles at heavily buttered caramels made with real cream. Not sure where all the other notes have gone. It's nice if you like super foody gourmands, but it's not my movie.

Very elegant plastic smell. I’d hoped it would fade in the drydown, but it doesn’t; just really synthetic. Without the plasticky note it would be divine.
