Romance In Florence

I like this perfume from the opening to the base. It smells quite floral and refreshing on me but also very elegant. It is like buying a flower bouquet at a nice flower shop. I will put it to the test a couple of times more and decide if I love it enough to get a full bottle. It is definitely suitable for spring and summer and it does smell like holidays in italy.

This is a less obnoxious and upfront version of Erba Gold. Still delivers a bang and portrays nicely, but it’s a little bit more delicate. Absolutely love this

In the store this smelt so beautiful, sexy ,vanilla, sweet. I got it macerated it and everything but htis smells way too fruity to me. I like it but its so similar to erba pura, sweeter and it has the dustiness

Standing at the window and admiring Florence is something unique, something that stays in the heart. Romance in Florence celebrates the beauty of this city so romantic, full of passion-filled stories, the cradle of the Renaissance and culture. And it is precisely these riches that create happiness, surprise, that are truly good for the heart. A fresh fragrance, very clean, with musky notes that make it clean, airy, spring-like. It does not turn to sweetness, although vanilla and saffron are present , but is still very classy and enveloping, sensual in its simplicity. I won't mention a painting: enchanting Florence already is.

I must admit that I was surprised when I read the notes of Romance in Florence because, with the exception of vanilla and musk, I did not identify any. On my skin it feels sweet, tropical as if it had coconut or ylang ylang; it makes me think of the sea and holidays and not a spicy, woody perfume. I am not saying that it is identical to other fragrances, but I think that it could be in the same category/family as the fragrances from Tiziana Terenzi or Xerjoff (like Erba pura, Kirke, Cassiopea). It is well blended and anyone who likes perfumes like the ones mentioned above, I think they will like this one too.

A clerk has recommended me this scent since Valentine's Day was coming up, and I have to admit that it did fit the proposed occasion. The clerk has observed me fiddling around with many vanilla scents and figured that Romance in Florence might have been my cup of tea. I have purchased a sample vial, but have yet to test it thoroughly over many days. Somehow, it reminds me of some dove shower gel I have used before... I have yet to find out which one it was? I will return with a better review once I got the chance of sniffing it properly on my skin.

The quality is there but you will only like it if you like TT Kirke & Erba Pura. It has that dusty, fluffy, a litttle too long kept fruit kind of musk which I don't like :( Long lasting and well projecting. I wish it didn't have that musk. From Birkholz my fav scent is Portaits of Portofino.

Don't waste money on this. Buy Lattafa Ana Abiyedh, same scent, better longevity and performance. Believe me
