Never Spring

I have this in the roller ball version. A beautiful little thing that fits perfectly in your bag. I truly love all Björk & Berries scents. They're unlike anything I've ever tried. All of them very wearable, but far from generic. They're mature, yet youthful - fresh, yet grounded and fairly long lasting. I wanted to buy Dark Rain so badly, but since spring is approaching I went for this instead. I've always loved citrus scents, but have failed to find one that doesn't border on toilet cleaner. This one, however, does not. It has a hint of fruitiness and sweetness, but those are perfectly in balance with the lemon. There's a woody background that I love, but that too is soft and harmonious - maybe I'm smelling the birch? There's no better way to explain the scent than the way Björkhagen & Berries have. It really is like that time of year when you're awaiting spring. Although it has a hint of sweetness it's also cool and subtle, never overpowering. Definitely recommend it!

An easy grab type of beautiful, uncomplicated and uplifting floral citrus fragrance from Jérôme Epinette. The emphasis here is on the lemon but there’s a certain softness and sweetness to this from the florals and the amber that appeals to me over other citrus fragrances that I’ve tried. It’s well-rounded and balanced. Stays pretty linear and doesn’t change that much throughout its weartime - which isn’t super long to be honest, but I’m happy to reapply after a few hours. In my opinion a good alternative to the overly popular D&G Light Blue that doesn’t get enough recognition. Certainly not a dupe to Light Blue but has a similar spirit. A clean, fresh, innocent and pretty compliment grabber. This is a fragrance that draws someone gently in with just the right amount of intrigue to keep them addicted. The adjective that first comes to mind when smelling this is happy.

Never Spring is the scent of a thaw that never quite arrives full force. A pulpy, tart berry brightness of sour lingonberry and juicy blackberry spills into a crisp, green translucence, like morning light filtering through frost-kissed leaves. It’s aquatic but not in the usual ozonic, cool way; instead, there’s a softness, a warm green stillness, like the moment before ice cracks underfoot and spring blooms. There’s something so gorgeous about it—dew-beaded petals, damp bark, the cool hush of a forest waking up. A scent that shimmers between fresh and earthy, warm and brisk, like someone distilled the quiet melancholy of lingering, fading winter into perfume. I've definitely said this before, but god do I love their DNA. That quiet, restrained beauty gets me each time, oh it sure does. It’s fresh, not sterile. Green, not sharp. Utterly stunning.

This is my first ever fruity & sweet perfume. It has an extremely bright, citrusy and berry-like sweet exploding at the start. The dry down is a lot calmer and I love it! But for some friends of mine this one is too 1 dimension and not complex. Yet the performance and sillage is soooooooooooooo bad on my skin. Like, the top notes fade away completely in 30 mins. And the rest is unnoticeable from the 1-hour mark. But even if you're incompatible like me, the performance is also not that great. I've never had a perfume that is not compatible with my skin this much. Even some EDT sticks to my skin longer. Also it is too overpriced, 185$ for 100ml? Hell nah not gonna buy this again.

Reminds me of that refreshing feeling you get when you drink sour berry soda on a hot day. I love sour things, so I am absolutely in love with the opening. For obvious reasons, it does not last long, but that's expected with those fresh top notes. Some people would say that weak longevity is bad, but in this case, it simply allows you to reapply without feeling too heavy. The drydown has a bit of a generic soapy quality to it, but it's not offensive.

This was an instant love. Starts very sparkly and effervescent citrus- to me orange and lemons even though orange isn’t a listed note it’s the main star to me. Reminds me of a sparkly Version of that orange drink from childhood. On dry down i get the vanilla and citrus and there’s still a slight bubbly nature to it. It is sunshine, happiness and perfect for summer or spring or whenever you need a pick me up.

This is just special, I really like it. It is green, May green, but somehow subdued. It has an ever-so-slight tartness. But it’s still subdued. And it holds onto the skin pretty well. The drydown might not be as impressive as the same brand’s fragrance ‘s “Botanist” is, but as a fragrance alone, “ Never Spring” may be More memorable. I kind of want a full bottle...it was €125.- when I last saw it.

This is a multivitamin fruit juice! :D If you enjoy sweet fruity photorealistic scents you are going to love this one. I have never seen such a great take on fruity fragrances. More something for warmer weather. Also possibly more feminine leaning. Out of the discovery kit it is not my favorite but I would not be mad if I had this as a FB :)

A really strong smell of blackcurrant, love it. Not strong and does not last long, so the entire office won't smell you.

Never Spring is a surprisingly interesting and playful fruity-floral perfume. It opens with a blast of fruit: lemon, red fruit, peach, apple. Sweet and tart, absolutely delicious and mouth-watering. It smells just like fruit ice-pops. I tend to associate it with all my pleasant memories of summer, cozy and carefree. As it develops, it gets less sour but sweeter; to be more specific, it gets more floral and sweet. I get powdery floral notes, which is in harmony with the juicy fruity notes. Clean fresh bamboo note cannot be missed too. Later on the fragrance pretty much remains like this without much further development or change. I get the cedar in the drydown, but it is not game-changing. Yes, it is not a complicated perfume; but is it a good one? Absolutely yes! Both longevity and sillage are fine, leaning to the weak side.

Very surprising. An extremely citrus-forward opening with crisp sweetness, rounded bamboo and woods. Fresh, but grounded. Brush of florals, not too heavy. Incredibly tart with a softness of earth. The intensity of blackberry and lemon (and peach, which is missing from the notes) remain, but this dries to a slightly musky and refreshing woods. Definitely peachy and lemony: The citruses are surprisingly strong throughout its wear, as though you can taste them on your tongue. This is not as dynamic as others from the brand. I thought this would be the one to beat, but it's a little monotone in its citrusness.

Never Spring was a surprise, because I was expecting something more woody and green since it's supposed to smell like the first day of Spring, but Never Spring is a super fruity, sweet, photorealistic freshly pressed orange and clementine juice with a musky base. I don't get any lemon at all, this is orange and clementine for sure. It's fruity, fresh, bright, sunny and happy. I'm not a big fan of orange forward fragrances so this is not for me but if you want a really happy pick-me-up, this is the one. Moderate longevity and sillage. 7/10.

Last one I'm trying from their discovery set and it's lovely. It's very easy for me to like a perfume that has jasmine in it. This one is a perfect blend of citrusy, floral, green and woody. The thing that stood out to me the most is that you can smell both the juice and the rind of the lemon at the same time. Very uplifting and dare I say... festive? The citrus might make it seem like a warm weather fragrance, but I actually think it can be worn in winter. It's bright like fresh snow.

It's a very nice, wearable fragrance, well suited for daily use or office. It opens with a bright citrus that reminds me of lemongrass, in the sense that it's citric but also herbal. The citrus remains the whole time, but get's complemented by a sweet note by the end of the first hour. But honestly I don't see anything remarkable enough to justify it's whooping price of 125 EUR. Especially considering that it basically disappears after ~5h – a recurring topic with Björk & Berries.

I ́m a big fan of their oils and body gels. I have the Never Spring body oil and I love how it actually reminds me of spring. The perfume EdT is stronger than the oil. You immediately notice the citrus and the blackberry. The musk, birch, amber and cedar is clear as well. There is a floral note and I do think its the jasmine. The perfume is not heavy at all, but it sticks with you the whole day. The citrus is the first thing you feel. All notes are clear and simple.

Apparently it smells like dish soap and soap bubbles. I thought I was uplifted instantly when smelling this fresh, lemony, fruity yet kind of unique scent. It's not the sweet fruity floral type of freshie though, as I don't really detect any florals or sweetness in this. The base notes come trough quite quickly and the scent turns warm and musky, with some citrus notes remaining to keep it's uplifting feel.

This smells like Atelier Clementine California but slightly better and sweeter, and like a lot of other citrus perfumes also. I do like this but it's nothing unique or compelling me to spend this much for it. Lemon-grape gummies (I know it's supposed to be blackberry but it smells more like grape to me) and jasmine in a cool moist garden. The subtle bamboo note is nice. It's crisp and refreshing.

It does smell light, airy and fresh like a breath of fresh air in early spring. A bit green, lightly floral and it has very nice lemon peel note. Not just a lemon, an essential oil smelling lemon. I like it a lot, it's a very nice fragrance.

A very fresh, citrus and green sort of blackberry scent. Its tart, it's juicy, it's delicious. Its brighter than i imagined it. I would have liked it to be a little more of a sweet blackberry scent, but this is good too.

Tart, juicy and floral. Smells like spring unfurling. More on the feminine side. I love the prominent blackberry and breezy jasmine/cyclamen. Smells like the best shampoo in spring time

Sweet and fresh, like a juicy lemon tart! A bit floral too - the jasmine comes through. Reminds me of a Body Shop bath product. Hard to dislike

This one really smells like pine on my skin. Definitely green and fresh with a faint hint of musk. I like it, it’s light and foresty

This is so refreshing and like-able! I love fresh fruity fragrances in general, but I imagine most everyone would enjoy this, especially in warm weather. It definitely is reminiscent of Orange Crush and Light Blue, but Never Spring is even juicier and works better for me personally with my skin chemistry. There is also something about this scent that reminds me of PEZ candies from the first sniff. This fragrance is the perfect balance of clean and crisp with fun and lighthearted.

i keep protecting the perfume samples kata gave to me in an effort to make them everlasting but in trying to break the habit. this is an exceptionally peachy, somewhat androgynous and cool everyday scent for me. reminds me of freshly washed linen, iced tea, a white sneaker, and minimalistic bracelets not in smell but in vibe. i enjoyed it for what it is but is not something i would buy

Have loved this as my day - unoffensive - office Perfume , but suddenly its just so unisex , what happened ? Everything I loved with it and Held on to is just gone , and i just smell the unisex (and i cant stand unisex perfumes ) , and I realize its time for our divorce . 😥

Beautiful, clean happy scent, clean in a soft way, like flowers and grass of rainy day, not watery. Every one molecule smells lovely and filled with notes. Usually I don’t like green scents but this one is outstanding,

I finally bought this ..a beautiful citrus..well paired with woody notes fresh yet not lacking in character and depth i chose this over Solstice

I don't usually like overly citrusy and fruity fragrances, but it has been done with a taste here, those notes are subtle.
