Synchrony

Another great fragrance today! Slightly overly sweet in the opening and through the first 30 minutes but the dry down is amazing. Synchrony matures into a beautiful warm woody spicy fragrance with a cinnamon note that is perfectly balanced and a little floral as well (Fragrantica says iris but I’m not sure, it reminds me more of wildflowers or tulips). I am very glad that the powdery note that Fragrantica talks about is undetectable to my nose. Even more pleasant was the fact I got great great longevity out of Synchrony, around 10 hours on both skin and clothes. I have to give it a 8/10 here. The projection was less stunning, I would’ve liked it to radiate off more but it seemed to mostly stay within a couple feet of my body. I’d say a 5/10 seems reasonable here. I absolutely adore Synchrony though, it’s a beautiful well composed balance that while leaning perhaps slightly feminine, feels very easy wearing and perfect for fall into winter. Overall this scores a 8 or 9 out of 10 for me.

I purchased a samplepack and got this one as a free sample with it. Out of all of them this was my favourite! I ordered a full size and got it yesterday. This is what I wanted White forest to smell like. Or at least that is the vibe I am getting from this one. It is fresh, spicy and woody in the best way possible. To me this is like standing in the middle of a pinetree forest next to a gingerbread house. It is unisex, some say it leans more masculine but not on me. I guess it depends on who is wearing it. I got compliments right from the beginning when wearing it. It is exacly what I have been looking for. Absolutely perfect, not heavy at all which I find spicy fragrances easily get. But because of the fresh/woody it balances it out perfectly. It is in a way mystical. Definitely signature scent worthy. I love it!

Eyes Closed from Byredo but to a much better price! It's so well blended. It smells like a cinnamon spice, carrot cake, but still not gourmand, if that makes sense. Smelling it straight from the bottle, it leans more feminine. But once you spray it on skin it's definitely more male leaning but a 100% fresh and slightly spicy unisex scent. It's spicy from the cardamom and cinnamon but still so fresh and clean. A bit woody/earthy forest like nearly. But it is still sweet. Such an interesting mix and soooooo addictive! I can't stop sniffing my wrist. The dry down is a perfect unisex. So don't get scared if it smells too masculine the first hour. Not blind buy safe, but I'd recommend it strongly! So unique in my collection.

What a treasure! It's so bright and spicy, like the smell of freshly baked cardamom buns or mulled wine. It definitely has a fall vibe, but I can see myself wearing it in cool early spring days as well. The opening is a burst of cardamom and cinnamon that stays with you the whole time. By the 3rd hour they sort of transform into a diffuse patchouli, but not super strong. The end is still somehow sweet. Like most Björk & Berries fragrances, it doesn't last long, disappearing completely after 6h or so.

Gingerbread, carrot cake, mulled wine, etc, but not super sweet. Delicious.

I am so interested to see the notes (lots of spice) and read the inspiration (city architecture) - this isn’t my experience at all! For me the cedar notes are very forward, and while I get spiciness and ginger warmth it is woods that take centre stage. I can see it as a winter fragrance (a cosy log cabin or cottage fireside), but also something summery (a scorching day in a coniferous forest). Overall lovely and very evocative!

out of most of the bjork and berries fragrances, i found this one the most wearable. a cardamom carrot cake! the spices r very airy, not heavy at all, and avoid being too gourmand. this is a reallyyyy lovely fall fragrance. it sort of gives me the sense of like being on a barn? like almost, hay-ish? i cant explain it, but i love it tbh ! longevity is not the best (3-4 hrs), but throw is ok.

A nice and mild fragrance. The texture of it reminded me of wood chips even though it doesn't smell like it. I love how well blended this fragrance is.

These autumnal cinnamonish scents are really not my cup of tea. I think it leans more male and really, a perfect daily autumn choice if these notes are a hit for you. I like how it's not too havey, despite the notes. This is a thread with all BB perfumes and I love it. I do get a little cardamom here, but mostly it's really nicely blended.

Spice Cake. But also kinda like a very very sweet BBQ sauce. The base notes and cinnamon are highly dominant on me. It's not quite my thing but it's an exceptionally natural smelling perfume and also exceptionally strong for that type. I usually find that more natural scents fade fast and don't project. But this is not subtle. If you're looking for a super super sugary spice and love patchouli, give this one a try. I do feel like it would brighten up a icy cold winter walk.

I usually love warm spicy scents, but this one.... Not so much. The cardamom is very strong, to the point that’s it’s taking over everything. There is also something minty and watery that I don’t particularly fancy.

bunch of warm spicy notes—cardamom, cinnamon, and ginger—give it a fresh and lively vibe, with patchouli added in. After the top notes fade, a really strange sweetness comes through.

Smells like fresh gingerbread on a crisp morning walk in a snowy boreal forest, but it's better, more nuanced and not gourmand. I find it completely unisex and I've never smelled anything like it. Very natural, yet otherworldly. I'm not sure if I want to wear it, but smelling it is an experience, highly recommended!

My favorite in the line along with Violet Sky. I thought it was just going to be a hohum tobacco based on the top notes but it wound up being a sort of Wazamba-lite. 3 out of 5.
