Eat Me

This is one of my favorite perfumes, and 'Eat Me' is such a perfect name for it! First on it smells exactly like moist, homemade vanilla cake with blackcurrant jam filling. Drying down the redcurrant come out and add a warm spice that grounds it. Dry juicy blackcurrant is at the front, but the vanilla and redcurrant are still there making this into a deliciously creamy and warm scent. The sillage is fantastic too, I get whiffs of this throughout the day and it lasts for hours on me. Genuinely have to stop myself from huffing my wrist when I wear this, highly recommend if you love berry or gourmand scents!

This is the first fragrance I ever bought from BPAL. I wanted to try out something simple I was sure I would like but it seems that this wasn't something I was prepared for. To me it smells strongly of incense/headshop notes. I was expecting a more berry vanilla sweetness but instead it was very dark & sweet, which isn't really what I like. I tried wearing this one out & my dad & brother had a coughing fit in the car so that just made me try to scrub it off when I had the chance. My brother smelt the bottle lightly one time & made a face & told me it smelt like a witchy hippie that was chilling in a room full of berries & incense for too long. I'm going to try to age it & see if a pleasant change occurs because I really want to love this one!

This is my third and last time trying it out. I was hoping that the cake part of this perfume would last longer than ten minutes. The remaining six hours of super sweet berry patchouli head shop scent were headache inducing.
