I really like this scent, but I honestly don't have much of a review. As soon as I received it, my partner snatched it up, and he adores it. It smells great on him- I don't really get the complexity with the cinnamon, but the rose smells really lovely and dainty to me. My only complaint is that BPAL scents do not have a good sillage, though for me, their longevity is quite good. I like to layer their oils with other scents though so the lack of throw doesn't bother me much.

I got this as an imp, and on my skin it's something like lillies and mildew. The old waterpark near where I grew up, wet tiles and wilting leaves. That doesn't bother me in the slightest, I love a kind-of-scary scent.

Review of sample that's been setting in a cool dark place for 8 years. Directly from the dabber: Let me start by saying I don't like scents like this. I have always love and worn even very green smelling roses since puberty, but this isn't just rose. This is a sharp, screechy, pungent, aldehydic floral. I can tolerate some old fashioned fragrance. I absolutely love Chanel No 5, but I have hated this since day one of smelling It. I've always found it to be offensive in an 50 year old Avon bottle type of way, but hey, you might be looking for exactly this kind of scent if you love vintages.

I like both rose and cinnamon, so I was hoping that I would like this. Unfortunately, however, I did not. The rose and cinnamon just didn't seem to go very well together- it was like two clashing notes, both of which I like individually, but together, not so much.

The rose note is a soapy rose in this one. The cinnamon isn't very strong.
