This is a fun summer scent for me that I really adore. On my skin it’s like a very nutty seawater. The nuttiness perhaps comes from the bay rum, but either way, I’m a fan. It’s salty salty salty, and a lil bit pungent, but it works. It is supposed to turn you into a bawdy pirate, after all. The leather and woody notes take the backseat. Although I’m fond of it, it does lack versatility. This is 100% a scent for daytime in the summer, and I’ve even go as far to say: save it for a summer beach trip! 7.5/10

Like a candle you’d find at a delightful seaside bnb. Heavy driftwood with just a little brown leather to rough it up.

Whatever the ocean note is, it's used in a lot of cheap perfumes that are trying to tap into that. 100% candle/essential oil smelling, really unattractive. But! It improves in the dry down pretty tremendously. If they left that note out for the 'ocean' and did something a little more creatively liberal, it would have saved the perfume entirely. Overall the dry down is a pleasant, pretty ordinary 'marine' frag. If you like that kind of thing, then it's hard to see how you will dislike this. 4.5/10

It's not a complicated scent, but i liked it anyway - simple, straightforward, as advertised. Very heavy on the wood notes - i'd say juniper, with salt lurking behind, and it dries into a leathery base. I don't smell rum at all.

Smells like hotel body wash. A decent business hotel, nothing too trashy, but basically generic “this is a chemical we have culturally decided smells like water”.

Woof, eye-watering opening - it's strong stuff! This is a booze soaked cola bottle gummy on a pirate ship. Gets more salty marine as it dries.
