Fire Walk With Me

A very pleasant fragrance! It opens with a very nice peppery smell laced with strong hints of resinous woods. As it settles down it gets a lot more woody with this smoky backing to it. The quality is very good! It reminds me a lot of quite a few things I have smelled in the past, but it is very unique. It is not something I would wear every day, but as an occasional wear and as an art piece it is nice! The smoky incense combined with woods and a semi aquatic backing do make it very Twin Peaks appropriate. The bottle is nice, you can tell someone definitely put it together and for where it comes from that is totally understandable! The bag that it comes with is very cool as well. Overall, as a collectors item it is great. As a fragrance it is very good! It smells better than the official twin peaks fragrances we had not too long ago, I believe that was the house of matriarch. If you are on the fence about your purchase, here is my suggestion. Would you wear a very smoky, very woody fragrance? If so then this is a pretty easy purchase. It's not overly dark, it is wearable for sure. I'm a fan, and for the price I paid I am very happy with it. For an indie house this is impressive, especially at being around $40. If this fragrance was a song this would be Falling by Julee Cruise. I mean, come on.

Wow, this surpassed my expectations by far. Virtually all of the listed notes come into play. They are expertly balanced, with none outshining the others on my skin. The lush scent of a coniferous forest, a waft of chimney smoke, and a breeze carrying the smell of the ocean all mingle together on a softly incensed leather base. If this is what special agent Dale Cooper smelled on his drive in to town, I can see why he raved about the fragrant trees to the people of Twin Peaks when he first arrived. I don't often find myself wishing for larger bottles since I have a solid amount of perfumes in my collection, but I would love if Fire Walk With Me was offered in 50ml bottles instead of just 30ml! Black Rabbit is certainly an indie house to watch. I am very impressed.
