Mr. Pink

Mr. Pink is one of those fragrances where when you initially spray it, it's so foreign to you that it's almost repulsive. Give it some time to macerate, and you'll come back to it and appreciate it more. That happened to me with Ganymede, and it happened with Mr. Pink as well. Even considering Ganymede, this is by far the most unique, far-out fragrance I've ever come across. I mostly pick up the cotton candy and smoke, but I guess there's some saffron and vanilla in there also. Mr. Pink is a gourmand, but in an unconventional way. To my pleasant surprise my girlfriend liked it, so I would say it does have appeal to it. Too expensive for what it is, but I applaud Blackcliff for creating this gem. 8/10

Deep, unique, dynamic, mysterious and subtle but long lasting. Modern, ambry, smoky, sweet, and uplifting all at once. Reminds me of Aventus freshness, Black Orchid darkness, and Jubilation resinous sweetness all packed into one. Very well blended and smooth, I would even say classy and for those who mean business as it is of a very high quality. Stands out from the crowd in the best light possible. So much personality and such a wonderful aura. Full bottle worthy for me

Well, this is interesting... in testing this blind from the scentXplore bag, I was pretty certain this was a musky fragrance with a animalistic and something like a tart fruit swirled in. At least this is what I get, an initial animalistic sweet urine quickly morphing into a more dry out musky element, marshmallows in the distance came to mind too. Looking at the notes, the labdanum dominates, followed by the oakmoss I guess with the butter and cotton candy coating everything, but not a lot of sweetness. The yuzu, vanilla, and bergamot are present, providing some freshness and initial feeling of sharpness. I don't really get the smoke, or saffron. Both seem completely distant to non-existent. Strong! Densely weird and wonderful. Like exploring a foreign market, you might not enjoy every aspect, or fully understand what's happening, it can be intimidating, and a bit dangerous, but it's exciting! The opening is powerful and I can only handle one spray then have to let it settle before diving in. NOT safe for work or anywhere you don't want to grab attention. NOT an everyday/casual fragrance. This is a deliberate choice for the experience if you choose to rock it. Sweetness with an edge speaks to my soul and this scent gives me feels. I wear this for myself, when I'm restless. Perfectly unisex. Completely unique. The scent story changes as it goes so hang in there and pay attention. This is a mini thrill-seeking adventure packaged in a bottle.

If you ask an AI to create a fragrance based only on reviews of Baccarat Rouge 540, it might just come up with this misfire - the sweet cotton candy note, overlaid with a medical-grade, back-of-the-throat-assaulting wretchedness of burnt rubber and chemicals. Forget those fanciful descriptions of BR540 smelling like a dentist’s office - Mr. Pink has you pinned back in the dentist’s chair, smoke rising from the drill against your molar and mouth full of latex-gloved fingers and rubber tubes. It’s hideous, it’s unique, it’s something to experience. Ideal musical accompaniment - Scott Walker’s “The Electrician”.

I am surprised by the controversy on this one. It's very spicy and masculine in the opening, but dries down into a very feminine, sweet scent. If I had to describe it as a color, it's candy pink with bronze glitter. Too expensive to buy the full size but really fun for a night out.

A very aggressive mix of gourmandy sweet cotton candy and gasoline choking smoke. I don't hate the idea, but I very much dislike the execution. This fragrance reeks of synthetic molecules from top to bottom, in a way that sends signals to my nose that "something is not right here". And yes, of course, most fragrances do contain synthetic molecules but this one smells like a science experiment. Definitely a statement, but not one I want to make.

No idea why they chose this abomination to be in both discovery sets when it’s clearly the worst one in the line by far. So sickening/headache inducing instantly smells like burning cough syrup. Smells like something Joop would come out with.

The worst Buy Blind ever! I don’t get any of those notes listed, except for this Smoked turkey and cheddar cheese. Then it dries down to a sweet skin musk. I cannot wear this. This is not blind buy safe whatsoever . I returned this one!

This scent is so strange but like in a good way? Like when I first smelled this I was holding my nose and coughing. I was going to gift it to a frenemy but then in doing so, I sprayed it once more and I liked it. So, I kept it. I keep going back to this and I am in and out of like and hate with this one. Other than spraying a little to the back of my hand I have not really given this a full wearing out. And----i am a little scared to. I am definitely not buying a full bottle of this because its just not for me but what an interestingly different sweet, smoky, fizzy thing this is! I cant even rate it because it is just so confusing to my senses. I mean...butter, cotton candy smoke.

And upgrade from Bacarat rouge. This is the more younger vertion of BR. This one is beautiful and citrusi. You can feel the yuzu and butter, also cotton candy 🍬 This is fire!! If you into gourmand niche fragrances then this one ia for you. A 9 out 10. Not a 10 because of the price...is too much for me.
