Nuit Poudrée

I got a free sample of this with one of my decant orders. The notes and accords don’t match AT ALL what I smell! I was literally shocked when I looked them up after spraying this for the first time. This smells like cherry pie to me. Like sweet cherry jam and powdery, heliotrope-y, Play-Doh-y-smelling pie crust. No iris, patchouli, lilac, etc. Or... I suppose I can smell a bit of patchouli, musk, and something toothpaste-y (mint) if I concentrate, but I can’t ignore the cherry pie-ness of it all. Crazy how differently we can perceive scents! I haven’t worn this much; it’s way too sweet for me.
