7 Moons

I cannot believe that this magnificient masterpiece is so underrated. It's a phenomenal recipee. Although I hate Oud-Rose combos I made it to my signature parfum 3 months ago, as soon as I bought it. I heard that the company discontinued it and I bought the last bottle I found on ebay without finishing the first one. This is so beautifully blended, that it carries you away right from first sniff. The rose fades away (luckily) in half an hour and the non fecal but still very animalic oud embraces you with labdanum resin, and ambergris (although not listed) in such a comforting archetypal triangle, where sandal provides the warm velvety content to that breath taking architecture and the whipping patchouli crowns the gloriuos roof of it.It' s a sillage and longeivity record owner. I spray only 3 times. If more I start coughing.it is that intense. And with that 3 puffs at 7 am.in the morning I still get compliments in the afternoon, all that for a very affordable price like 160€ for 65ml bottle,quite convenient if you consider that its certified genuine oud.The closest alternative I could recommend is Oud Palao by Dyptique.but the longevity and the sillage is not as powerful as 7Moons.

The number 7 and the moon are two very important elements for symbolism and which represent the cycle of life... for example 7 are the moons that are usually needed for a new life to come to light... therefore here expressing rebirth, the life cycle, but also respect for nature and its times. It is a magnetic fragrance for me, with few notes but which create such a good scent that it struck me straight away. And I must say that it impressed the others too, I really received a lot of compliments. I can't even say which elements I feel the most, as they have such a perfect balance that none prevails over the other, but there is certainly a magical thread, like experiencing an oriental night. Always suitable, elegant, with great sillage and persistence. Among my favourites. For me it has such dreamlike connotations that I want to dedicate Vincent Van Gogh's "Starry Night" to it, it truly transported me to a parallel world. “The man who speaks to the moon is mad. I tried a many oud scents, many rose scents, but this one is outsanding somehow. The beginning is the most beautiful I have ever smelled, that spicy rose mixed with labdanum... I wish the whole fragrance would be linear and I could smell this the whole time! Anyway, after this the woody notes come to the stage, and remains a nice oud scent. Not that exotic strong oud scents like Bortnikoff's Triad, leans a bit to the designers due to the synthetic feeling (its a bit sharp, not sure whether it contains real oud oil), still, really nice. Recommended!

Standard rose-oud done fairly well. Very classic smelling. Pretty good! 8/10

Cheap, synthetic smelling crap.

This fragrance strangely reminds me of "Oud Touch" by Franck Olivier and "Oud Ispahan" by Christian Dior! Excellent longevity and sillage! May need to re-test it again to revel in its olfactory ambiance...

Exact same copy of Oud Ispahan !!!
