Gold Oud

*EDITED - after more testing* Waouw...this is really a great fragrance and as many people say: a better TF Oud Wood. In recent years TF-OW declined and not as good as it was when it was launched. Nowadays OW is just a okay fragrance with a relatively weak performance and longevity. This one is has better longevity, stays for 6-8 hours on my shirt. But Gold Oud reminds one of OW when it was great and more potent. For sure it so dammed close to OW....I would also classify it as a stronger Oud Wood. If you love Oud Wood you would definitely love Gold Oud by Blend Oud. This is my second bottle from this house and again I'm glad for not holding back by doing a blind buy. My first bottle fra this house was Oud Sapphire - which is the closest you get to Oud Satin Mood Extrait de parfum by Maison Francis Kurkdjian - I would say around 90-95 % the same scent and last forever too - price wise Oud Sapphire is also the best alternative around. Can recommend Gold Oud - 8.2/10 !!!

It was love at first sniff when i tested this 6 years ago. Now i am seeing it as a good alternative to TF oud wood. It can be found at some good prices at discounters, bottle looks amazing. Fit for winter, night and day. My rating: 3.2 stars out of 5.

This is just like Oud Wood but so, so much better in both projection and longevity. And also somehow a bit more opulent.

Very safe oud to wear. Safer than TF Oud Wood which is similar. Both are remotely oud-related where this note is subdued under other stuff. Oud Wood is fresher and spicier, more aggressive in this sense, Gold Oud is more rounded and in the background. Both of these don't last long, 1-2 hours perhaps. Smells good, I like it but when comparing with other scents, it is kind of average.

I'm not much into oud, it may be really off-putting to me, however, I just blind bought this fragrance and really liked it. It's not offensive at all, it's really pleasant and, fortunately, fig is the protagonist. I'm glad that oud is pretty subtle and smooth in this one.

This is a soft, smooth fragrance. Once it settles, it presents a citrusy wood scent with subtle floral notes whispering in the background. The slightly weightier oud prevents it from leaning too far into feminine territory, but I would not consider this particularly masculine either. It comes across as firmly unisex to me. This would be good for a bright spring day. I wear TF Oud Wood a lot, and while I can see some similarities, they smell quite different to me. On me, OW is slightly more medicinal while Gold Oud is more citrusy and has a noticeable ylang-ylang note weaving through it. If you like OW, you may very well like this as well. The oud is similar, but they're different enough to avoid much overlap.

Ok. So another TF OW-inspired release from the same Brand? I wonder if it's gonna outperform Oud al Emarat! I don't think so! Because al Emarat is stellar & bestial in all ramifications! IG: @mr_cornells

i blind bought it in hope for it to become my signature scent, I don't love it, unfortunately it's quite boring
