Mazyon

I'm not sure if the name of the company fooled me but I feel that it has something like oud playing in it somewhere and I like it. Very blended oud of course, just like in Oud de Carthage. In general, it is sweet and beautiful, not particularly floral (at least to my nose) and not particularly tonka or vanille either. I smell no jasmine but I have noticed over time that jasmine is mentioned in several sweet scents where I don't smell it but I smell it clearly in some others. I bought Mazyon for less than half price and as used, without having tested it beforehand, I just looked at the list of notes, the scent profile and imagined that I will like it -- and I do. The only thing I missed with my prediction, or that I couldn't imagine based on this information, was that it's a sweet scent. I can't give it five stars but I certainly like it. I put it in my list of scents into the feminine section: it's not unisex as advertised, not for men really, but since I don't care about gender segregation in scents, I just enjoy it and enjoy it as a feminine scent on me, beautiful and delicate, modest and non-intrusive. Nice creation! Edit: updated rating to 5/5 after having used it again. It is such a classy and classical feminine scent: sweet but just right amount, exuding style and beauty of certain women in 30s to 40s. I even found a little similarity with much stronger and sweeter, one my all time favourites, Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline.

I can say that this is the most popular parfume in my collection. It is very strong (in the Park from 10 meters can feel). I bought it in 2 weeks before and I got several compliments- mostly 25-35 yers girls likes it very much (my dear Girlfriends-They are all strong, self-confident Woman- Mothers). They immediately wanted decants so I have to buy another Bottle soon. 😁. The scent is strong ambergis-jasmin with eucalyptus (this note was a little disturbing and very present first time but now I like it). Some say it’ s like Alien. A little yes but Mazyon is more complex and stronger and not too dark scent. It is good for fall, winter, spring. In hot day can be too heavy. Feminin in the strongest way and of course extremely sexy One! I recommend every Woman! LOVE!!!❤️

I'm surprised there are no fruit notes listed, as I find the opening to be somewhat fresh and fruity. I suppose it is the influence of the eucalyptus, but my nose doesn't personally classify it as eucalyptus. It's almost like Sprite - but in a good way! Slightly dry, not overly sweet or syrupy. That is a very brief element, though, before it develops into the rich jasmine with underlying soft cashmeran which skews towards woodiness. To me this is super similar to Glamour by M. Micaleff, maybe a little less fruity; and although subtle, the ambergris element lends sophistication and sensuality, elevates the fragrance and prevents it from being overly dense and heavy. That aspect increases the versatility, and I think this could be worn day or night.

A beautiful, hidden gem. If Mugler ever releases another “exclusive” label, I would imagine that iteration of Alien would smell like this. Vintage Alien cashmere & Jasmine combo with a hint of ozonic eucalyptus and ambergris. Don’t let the last notes fool you. This isn’t a fresh scent. This is a rich solar jasmine scent that somehow smells niche and more polished than Alien, even with the very obvious similarities. Lasts days on fabric, 8 hours on skin. Projection is high without being obnoxious. Very blind buy safe if you enjoy full-bodied jasmine scents. I’m in love with this one.

The Jasmine and musk in here is soo loud and smooth. The amber comes out in the dry down and it lasts apt 6 hours on skin and more than a day on clothes. This is something Monica belluci would absolutely wear. It's unisex but fem leaning and kinda sexy I think lol but at the same it can definitely be an office scent.
