Oud Al Emarat

#1020 in my "Tour de Fragrance" The only difference I can tell between this and Tom Ford "Oud Wood" is this is $120 cheaper, but unlike the cheaper clones and similars out there, it doesn't smell cheap and cloying. Even the mid-price Versace isn't close to this good. Like Oud Wood itself, this is not for the office or tight spaces. I'd save this for dinner with spacious, even outdoor seating and I'd go easy with this. It lasts all day and projects. The really nice thing about this is no florals, so the masculinity is not ruined with that hint of your grandma's Avon "To a Wild Rose" you get with oud scents that add a Turkish or Damascus rose note, or God help us, both. I love this and I'm in for a bottle.

This is an herbal/fresher take on TF Oud Wood, and it performs far far better than TF, especially after the latest reformulations. Also the scent profile is modernized in an intriguing way...maybe modernized is not the accurate descriptor here, but this is beautiful, and more natural than the TF. I really like it a lot. Definitely a dressed up occasion type of fragrance, and it's rather masculine but in a subtle way.

This is what Tom Ford Oud Wood should have been. If you've been looking for a Oud Wood that projects further and lasts longer then this is your answer indeed. Absolutely lovely fragrance.

It's a strong aroma, not for everyone, but I like it a lot, don't understand why many people don't, just a few sprays and preferably on the lower body so the scent becomes more subtle and discrete, without punching you on the face, great fragance! Very unique smell

Oh wow this is VERY good! Yes it's similar to TF Oud Wood but spicier & woodier although not as smooth & milky, then they're further differentiated by its green & herbal-spicy drydown.

Oud Al Emarat by Blend Oud is AWFUL. I really don't like this fragrance at all. It opens with a sharp, dusty green note that feels both dry and synthetic. Within minutes, it becomes overwhelmingly harsh and headache-inducing. Some reviewers compare it to Oud Wood by Tom Ford, but honestly, I don't see the resemblance at all. Oud Al Emarat lacks the smoothness, balance, and elegance of Oud Wood. This is a disjointed, abrasive scent that I couldn’t wait to scrub off. Absolutely horrible in my opinion. 1/10.

Unless I got a bad bottle, this is maybe 5% similar to Oud Wood. It lasts way longer and projects better, but I don't understand why would anyone want to smell like that? All I could smell is the pepper, but not in a nice way (I admit I don't like pepper too much - neither in perfumes, nor in my food). I totally love Oud Wood.

THIS SMELLS NOTHING LIKE TOM FORD OUD WOOD. ZERO similarity. Absolute shitbag, awful green smell, never smelled a worse perfume, I regret buying this and Ive got maybe 250 perfumes. Never regreted a buy more.

Got this beautiful frag February 3, 2019 and I love everything about it! Yes. It shares similar notes (from top to base notes) with TF Oud Wood, but this Oud al Emarat is drier, spicier, woodier and more intense with a wimpy dose of leathery facets! This is some TF Oud Wood on steroids. It's longer lasting and given its pricing points, you stand to gain more value wise as Oud al Emarat is available in 75ml vs. 50ml of TF Oud Wood! Oud wood TF? Where? With this fragrance,no! Especially not with Carved Oud! This is like raw quality nature ingredients! I expected something smooth, fancy,easy to like but first sniff was wtf is this God dam!? This must be unpacked,day after day of wearing. Believe me it's challenging. First time I've smelled Oud so clearly. Didn't like it. Second fay hmm wait there's something interesting here. I'm gonna explore the f out of this niche house.

Very similar to TF OUD WOOD Does project better and last a lot longer That medicinal herbal note you get lasts a lot longer than TF, oud wood tends to go darker and creamy Where this is more sharper! Both are great but 2 different experiences when it comes to which notes last longer!

Oud Wood with a herbal feel to it. The top herbal note in fact reminds me of Nio.
