Oud Marrakech

Doesn’t smell like anything else I ever tried and I’ve sampled thousands and have 409+ bottles in my collection. It has an almost mentholated cool green feeling. There’s a coldness that contrasts to the typical warm amber and woods, this “vibe”’is very nice and interesting, I have to keep sniffing and I don’t get bored with it. The amber, iris, and real Oud give it similarities to Dior Homme Parfum but it doesn’t necessarily smell that close. It sorta smells like DHP after it’s been on your clothes for a week, like cedar pencil shavings and pink rubber erasers and the lingering smell of spilt whiskey after the alcohol leaves. The tobacco comes out later, and with the mentholated cold green smell I mentioned it gives it the smell of a freshly opened pack of Newport 100’s, very nice 👍 Very versatile, I’d say it’s best suited for spring, summer and fall. It’s certainly not a freshie but the greenness gives it some lift and airy-ness. Performance is perfect, yes perfect, long lasting with moderate projection that lasts way longer than average before it gets closer in. Most long lasting frags achieve their longevity by either being very intimate or they are obnoxiously loud and synthetic, this is neither of those. Unisex but leans masculine. Beautiful, classy bottle design with a heavy metal cap, no click. Decent sprayer but no Dior or Creed.

Found this at a perfume shop in Armenia, have never come across it in the US. It is one of the most unique iris fragrances I’ve met. In the beginning it’s all cool green iris: dry and floral, barely powdery alongside a stemmy green note that is more rich an juicy than grassy. I also get a lot of violet leaf though it’s not listed. The oud politely hangs out underneath it all and lends it’s oomph yet doesn’t make itself overtly known. After 15 minutes and a deep inhale a slightly sweet resin note emerges alongside incense and a spike of oud of the ointment variety. Iris still floating above it. Coffee is here somewhere, but more affogato than thick middle eastern coffee. Tobacco barely registers but, like the oud, it’s thoroughly blended in and I sense the texture and tone it gives the whole mixture rather than its individual presence. It’s radiant and all its tightly woven notes unfurl on a warm day.

Just received my bottle in the mail today and man baby wipes paper mache wet paper Yes you do get that but man this is so good explaining it is a little hard to do but what's here is really good it's spring right now I live in Miami I will be rocking this quite a bit this season Don't know if it's a crowd pleaser or compliment getter but it smells so good to me at least

While a lot of Blend Oud's fragrances take obvious inspiration from famous other scents (and make a better version of them), Oud Marrakech is an original masterpiece. It's hard to describe, as it's an excellent but unusual scent - somewhat balsamic, but also green and powdery and really versatile and wearable. Heads definitely turn!

It’s such a shame that this perfume is so underrated. It truly is one of a kind, standing apart from modern perfumery with its bold character, long-lasting performance, and strong sillage. Unlike many contemporary fragrances, it’s not sweet at all. The dominant notes are green, iris, and resins, just as noted on Fragrantica.

Unique. It’s a fresh green fragrance with a resinous, candle-wax powdery feel and a touch of coffee and tobacco. EDIT : Very similar to Xerjoff Casamorati Corallo, the xerjoff is more powdery and easier to wear.

Like a secret garden, a truly unisex, high-quality green fragrance that does not irritate the nose.

The greenest, lightest oud I’ve ever smelled.Iris is there but it’s in the background. This is an odd one as it’s cold, slightly metallic while still being fresh. It’s smells like a fragrant vodka drink.The more I smell it the more it reminds me of Gentle Fluidity Silver.

Maybe I got a bad batch but this smelled like straight up gasoline soap farts to me like if you ate a bar of Dove soap and farted out bubbles

With a slight iris at the exit, a subtle touch of coffee with a delicate tobacco and a very easy smokey 'oud and in drying prevails a beautiful greenish incensed aspect leaving the balsamic and soft perfume that brings a surprising freshness, making it easy to please and quite versatile. A great fragrance option for the heat and medium temperature days that comes out of the obviousness of citrus, an original composition. The most interesting thing and what impressed me about this perfume is that the iris, green notes, woods, coffee, tobacco, 'oud, incense are arranged in a harmonious way. And none of these ingredients stands out too much more than others, they all have their moments of protagonism, in the end in the drying is that the incensed greenish vibe prevails a little more. It is a delicious fresh fragrance well woody, balsamic, green and incense; Very well balanced.

A discontinued hidden gem that feels like a puzzle. Every resource online lists slightly different notes, but here is the reality for me: there is no Oud here, and I can’t really detect green notes either. This fragrance is textured. It feels dusty, powdery, and evokes the color light purple. It feels like a deconstructed Iris pushed into a surreal, creative direction. It is strange, but also strangely mass-appealing—I’ve received compliments on it despite it being quite "out there." It projects massively (2 sprays max) and has all-day longevity. For $45 I paid, this is a high-value addition as I appreciate novelty and artistry in perfumery. Grab it if you find it, but treat it as an avant-garde Iris focused scent, not an Oud one.

For some reason I feel this is how rye lembas bread would smell. Nice, well blended but DRRRRY, antihumidified, 0% humidity. Reminds me a little bit of Eau Noire.
