Sana

Sana is luxurious and smooth. I bought this for my birthday and it is divine. I love the opening with its bright citrus notes. Mid is a dusting of cinnamon and caramel vanilla deliciousness. The whole experience is a drenched confection of lemon syrup and caramel. Strangely not sickly or too sweet. You definitely smell edible and that’s a good thing. 🥰 longevity on skin moderate and clothing a little longer. Hubby approved and I feel quite confident whilst wearing this gem. Also Lira-Esque so you don’t need both.

For me, the blood orange is the star in this amber fragrance, and it shines especially bright during warmer winter days. Sana is linear, which I do not mind at all because this way I can fully enjoy the deliciously sweet blood orange note throughout the day. The caramel note is also very much noticeable, and luckily, it never gets too overwhelming due to the citrus notes. All in all, this is a well-balanced and smooth gourmandy amber fragrance with a refreshing citrusy character.

I agree with the general consensus that Sana and Lira are twins. But I see them as fraternal twins who have very slight differences. This morning, I tested the two frags with one on each arm. Lira is lighter in feel, and has a bit more citrus at the beginning of its life. Sana is deeper with more noticeable spiciness to me. Both are gorgeous and I adore Lira, but Sana has edged her out as my favorite of the two. ❤

Sana is oh so yummy! Whereas, Lira has a very thick and pronounced caramel note, the jasmine note in Sana comes through more and it smells divine. I've worn each on my wrists and in terms of longevity and projection Sana is the clear winner. I like them both equally. For the budget conscious... If you have Lira you won't need Sana and vice-versa.

Stunning. I ordered this direct and it was shipped and delivered within one week from over seas. Beautiful, extremely similar to Lira. I will need to do a side by side but if you did a blind testing I would swear it was Lira.

This smells absolutely gorgeous. Gourmand sweetness that isn't sickly, just right. Love it.

Lemon pound cake in a fragrance. 100% gourmand/edible. Smells like Lira but better and less expensive. I personally didn’t care for Lira as much and didn’t get nearly as much of a photorealistic FOOD smell. I’ve been complimented on this fragrance before and it does smell nice, but I’ve come to realize that I just am not a gourmand girly. I just don’t reach for vanilla-dominant, super duper sweet, edible fragrances. I think they’re just too sweet and sugary for me. Still! This is a great fragrance! Would highly recommend for the gourmand lover😇🧁 P.S. None of the notes stand out to me. It is so well blended. No licorice at all! I don’t care for licorice😅😌🙏🏻

Es hermoso su aroma, después de analizarlo por días llegué a la conclusión que para mí huele a un picnic específico. Imagínalo así: estar en un campo de flores, entre ellas lavanda y ramas, tener entre tus manos, muy cerca de tu nariz un muffin de limón decorado con flores de jazmín. Es un aroma agrio pero dulce, con el tiempo perdura y se siente más gustoso a mí percepción. Nunca había podido proyectar imágenes de un aroma pero este perfume lo logró. No sé si considerarlo especial, pero por lo menos a mi me da una energía alegre cuando lo uso.

It's definitely not the exact same as Lira. It starts off with an entirely different citrus, and there is something coming off as a banana accord to me that I love here! I think its creamier than Lira and more powdery, a hint soapy, less cakey in the opening, and more fruity. I think Lira is more powdery in the dry down than this one is too, and Ill compare them side by side shortly, but for now its enough that I really like it!

This is close to Lira but weaker in my opinion. It is lovely but the longevity is poor. For me it’s a skin scent. I wish that it would be a bit louder and last a bit longer. I own both this and Lira and prefer Lira. I will probably end up selling this since it is so similar to Lira. It is nice if you enjoy very subtle scents. It a lovely citrus, caramel vanilla scent. Very non offensive.

I prefer Sana over Lira. I didn’t like the harsh citrus opening of Lira. I agree with the other reviews that this a skin scent and doesn’t last long. I’ve layered it with Gyokuro by the Merchant of Venice. Both are skin scents but compliment one another. This also reminds me a bit of Sultan by Royal Crown. Sultan is the winner to me.

I only have a sample of Lira, but Sana is quite similar. On me, Sana lasts much longer. I wore it yesterday and woke up this morning still wearing a cloud of it. It's quite beautiful. Spicy vanilla musky sexy. And the performance for the price is top notch.

Nice scent, but pretty much a note for note knock off of Lira. Own both. Openings and dry down are very similar. Lira doesn't seem to have as much of the licorice note. Given the price per mL of this juice, you are probably better off buying Lira.

This is somewhat similar to Lira, but to my nose and on my skin it is not as well balanced or blended. Lira is so light and airy and perfectly rounded out with the floral and spice notes, while Sana feels like a cheaper, basic body spray rendition of the scent profile. Both have similar longevity and projection on my skin- sitting close, with a tiny scent bubble. Lira is in my top 5, Sana probably wouldn’t make my top 50.

I haven’t smelled Lira in years but I have always liked the scent profile but it never lasted long enough to be FB worthy to me then I found Love & crime and never looked back. Love and crime isn’t the exact same, you could own both but it is in the same realm and it has phenomenal performance. I bought a decant of Sana and compared it to love and crime since I don’t own Lira, and I find Sana to be mostly vanilla, a good vanilla but it lacks the character that love and crime has and the performance as well. Sana did not perform good on me at all. I got less than 2 hours from it and it was on the intimate side, much like how I recall Lira being. So if I had to choose between Lira and Sana, I’d go Lira because I think it’s a little better quality from what I remember and the bottle looks better but the performance between the two is pretty much the same for me anyways. I feel you could interchange the two, just a matter of price and the bottle look you want. Love and crime is the winner for me in the category even though it is not as close of a dupe to Lira as Sana is, L&C is more citrusy in the beginning and just thicker of a fragrance overall but still it satisfies my need for that type of scent profile and with fantastic performance. I’m glad I got a decant of this instead of a full bottle, of course it smells great but it’s pretty fleeting. I’ll gladly use up the rest of decant for being cozy at home but it’s too light for me.

I got samples of both Lira and Sana to try on my skin. I actually prefer Sana over Lira. The citrus in Lira is much sharper and a bit headache inducing. Sana smells more orange, Lira smells more lemony(/bergamot-y). I find Sana to be more blended and the scent melts into the skin so deliciously. Sana just works better on my skin surprisingly. Lira definitely lasts much longer, but Sana still lasts pretty decently, just closer to the skin.

This is so pretty. But so so light. Lira was too light for me - I ended up selling my bottle. And well this may be a touch lighter. Both have lovely scent profiles - very similar but not same. If the projection would be up to a 3/10 - it would be worth it for me to buy. But this is like 1.5-2/10. Maybe after letting it mature for a couple years it would be better? But not willing to give it that long... moving onto other fragrances...

Blend Oud Sana is a duplicate perfume. A beautiful one for sure, I can't argue that, but nevertheless a dupe. It's not inspired by Lira, it's a copy of it. I like it of course, and it's very versatile, but it doesn't last on me more than half an hour. Stays a bit longer on clothes, but nowhere near as much as Lira does. Oh well, nothing beats Lira!

Well, you definitely get the caramel and vanilla center stage, followed by a less in your face musk. The whole composition smells delicious however it leans really feminine. If I had a girlfriend, I'd definitely buy her Sana. Totally irresistible. Now I want to sample Lira.

definitely picked up the lira similarities right away. i get the citrus, caramel, vanilla, and licorice. i do like it, but i also own a FB of lira and don’t see the need for such redundancy in my collection.

To me, this is nothing like Lira. I like this much, much better than Lira! It is more subtle and smooth and the caramel is not as 'gooey' which I prefer. I'm not a huge fan of Lira, tbh.

I bough travel size from maxaroma and woooow it’s amazing perfume yes has little bit of lira but this one more airy lighter and amazing I adore it full bottle worthy for sure

Annicke 5 by eight and bob is like a more bottom heavy version of this without the lavender and citrus.

I have Lira and love it, and I heard this was a “dupe” for it. Nope. Definitely not a dupe.
