Silver

I think it’s a very easy going Oud, very pleasant. I recommend it!

got this as a sample from MaxAroma this is a nice rose-oud fragrance. it starts off with sweet red fruits and an aromatic contrast from the mint and the coriander. I think it's this sweet-aromatic tension that may smell bleachy to some. and this contrast continues in the heart, where a powdery rose is sweetened by brown sugar, set against a very perceptible and aromatic geranium background. the oud is noticeable from the beginning, not too strong but nicely done, and creates a dark woody backbone, which becomes more ambery as it comes to the late drydown. performance is excellent, longlasting and with big sillage. not revolutionary, but a nice, well crafted fragrance!

This was a blind buy for me and I'm on the fence about it. In the opening, it smells on me like bleach and wet clothes -- like what you smell when you're pulling your load of whites out of the washing machine. It's clean buuuuut.... bleach. After a few minutes, the woody notes start to come out, but the bleached wet clothes aroma continues to linger, so the beginning of this next phase smells a bit like wet paper. As it progresses, it becomes more sweet floral and oud, somewhat like Eclipse (which I really like) from the same perfume house, but I can still smell a hint of bleach. Thankfully, the dry down becomes a little more pleasant but still confusing. Silver takes on several faces, sometimes smelling like a mix of Oud Blend Eclipse, mint and more floral notes, other times smelling like oud + Vicks Vaporub. When it finally maintains consistency, it becomes a mentholated Eclipse (sweet floral + oud blend). For better or worse, the performance on this fragrance is nuclear. My wife is sitting 10 feet away from me and just said she feels like this cologne is in her mouth. Yikes, considering she did not like the opening of this fragrance at all. This might be the one time you *don't* want a powerful performing cologne, at least, at the beginning. As unappealing as the opening is, you'll want to spray Silver at least 20-30 minutes before you plan to be around any other human being.

I totally agree with the review under me. This smells like white paper and a bit bleach or skanky i get the rose but it's not juicy it's harsh, after a few hours it fades away and it remains the oud accord with some note of woods. I think what I really struggle with is the rose note and the geranium. Man, i hate geranium this is unfortunate because the scentbase is not half bad at the base, the oud is well done and not too animalic... It leans feminine in my opinion. But i would not like my girlfriend smelling like this, i picture it better on an older woman. Not a huge compliment getter in my opinion but defenetely a good performer although i would buy something different for the price that probably makes me folds time happier. I mark it a 6.5
