Sultan

It is a unique smell, but had to give this one time to grow on me. Mate is a known drink where I came from (I used to drink it myself) but this is the first time I smell it in a perfume. Smells different and almost unrecognizable to my nose, perhaps due to sweetness (to me this perfume is a tad too sweet), I also detect the leather. Performance is on the weaker side but over spraying does the trick. It is not the best perfume I have, nor a dum reach, but it is something different, and worth a try.

Mate nin orjinal halini koklamadigim için baskinligini degerlendiremiyorum. Bir fikir vermesi icin, biraz naneli caya benzediğini soyleyebilirim. Güney Amerika da çay gibi içilen bir bitki. Mate dışında da yukarıdaki noktaların herhangi birini bariz olarak kokladigimi söyleyemem. Ancak harman kaliteli bir hava yaratıyor. Kisacası kokuyu sevdim ama kalicilik ve larfumun kuvveti yok gibi birsey. 1 saat bile tene tutunamıyor.

#1153 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Got this as a decant. I won't be collecting a full bottle of this one. I tried making a habit of drinking yerba mate tea as my nutritionist recommended. I was back on the Earl Grey in a week. Any health benefits of the mate were outweighed by the effect it had on my stomach. Even the smell. I can get past it in some fragrances, and in others I cannot. Fredric Malle's "Iris Poudre", Signature "Sapphire", Memo Paris "Irish Oud" I'm fine. I think because the iris note in those scents covers up the smell of the mate. I can't get past it in this fragrance, even though I really like everything else that's going on here. After twenty minutes or so that mate smell is gone, the effect on my stomach isn't. I'm sure the vast majority won't have the same problem, and it's otherwise a very nice scent. Just not for me.
