Glasshouse

I am so impressed by this brand! I own all four of the fragrances they offer, and have fallen in love with all of them. Glasshouse is no exception. Let me tell you what to expect with this one, because it is unique. The opening is a burst of fresh mint! It's authentic and herbal--just so wonderful. This reads initially as fresh paint. You know that cucumber-vinegary smell when you open a can of latex paint. This settles down, I promise. You also get a hit of grapefruit, including the essence from the rind. The sweat element expresses itself as a saltiness. It's so pleasant. Do not worry that it will smell like some fat guy's onion-in-a-pressure-cooker bad B.O. It is not the onion-y or cat pee smell that one typically associates with stinking armpit stains. One other thing I can say about this one--if you think the scent disappears, it doesn't; it is easy to go nose-blind to this scent. Others can smell it. I know this because I get compliments on it. I wholeheartedly recommend this one!

I'm super impressed with this fragrance! I first got the discovery set, then more samples, and finally decided to buy the full size. This one was my favorite out of the bunch. It's so warm and inviting, my kind of woodsy scent. I really love the cedarwood and amber base notes, I always go for those in my perfumes. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who likes that kind of smell.

This takes me back to partying at The Standard Hotel in Downtown LA circa late 2000's-2010's. Nothing extraordinary but still good... Something you'd have in your body spray when going to school or out Friday night in 2009. All this to say it isn't bad. It's nostalgic and green and does have a "greenhouse" plant/grass element to it. Glasshouse is an interesting name that works. I imagine this as something in your guest bathroom for all genders or for your customers in your Airbnb home.
