Speakeasy

IMO, a very sweet vanilla with tonka and a dry down that leaves a musky sandalwood scent path. I've had my eye on this for the last few months and I'm very happy with this purchase. I haven't seen a lot of reviews on any blind barber frags, but the few ones that I have watched all seem to enjoy their scents. Speakeasy would be perfect to wear for a special occasion / dinner date. Maybe better suited for fall - spring time, but you can definitely pull this off year-round especially at night. I look forward to trying the other Blind Barber bottles out and we'll see if they are good enough to purchase. I def recommend Speakeasy as it’s a very unique take on vanilla and sandalwood. If you like this type of DNA, this bottle is for you. 8.5/10.

This is a nice sweet masculine fragrance, it has a bit of the feeling from Dior homme parfum but with less depth and texture and more of a light banana-whiskey scent. Definitely a nice one. Pleasant. Semi strong on the amberxtreme / ambrocenide which gives it that punchy modern masculine vibe but can be too much for some people, but it’s not overly strong in that way. Not an amberxtreme bomb. Very nice!

I got instant compliments on the fragrance by itself, but I also use it to layer on top of other fragrances to create a signature blend. It mixes with anything! It is a unique bourbon musk, with a fresh undertone. It lasts for hours, especially on clothing. I absolutely love this one!

Speakeasy is a gentle, but enduring soft barbershop fragrance. It's smooth enough to calm your nerves, but aromatic and prickly enough to wake you up. It has such a familiar trio of bergamot, lavender and sandalwood, that it smelled like an amalgamation of men's fragrances at once. Yet...it didn't remind me specifically of any one of them in particular. It smells classically masculine (who cares though, wear what you like regardless of gender), but not *rugged*. It's cleanly musky, but the musk doesn't overtake the sandalwood, which I appreciate. The sandalwood, it bears noting, is not pickle-y as some can be. It's quite versatile IMO, it could be an every day/every season staple.
