Amber Negroni

My favorite drink is a Negroni, that's what prompted me to try it and I am glad I did. Right of the bat, this does not smell like an actual Negroni, it smells like the idea of a Negroni. This fragrance captures the initial smell of the orange oils and garnish, evolving into the tootsie roll flavor of the vermouth and Campari in your mouth, and the vanilla is just enough to add the warmth you feel when the liquor goes down. Finally, the drink is empty, but you can still smell the remnants of the drink on the glass and the slight woodiness of the bar. Honestly, I loved this much more than I thought I would. The scene plays out over several hours (~6), but the warm spicy/woody heart is still detectable 10 hours later. Projection is great, staying at arm's length for hours.

This shit is fireeeeee you get a very photo realistic mix of oranges at the top then mixes into beautiful mix of sweet chocolate vanilla caramel then the gin alcohol and vermouth in the base notes gives you a amazing Negroni cocktail its beautiful very long lasting and projects very nice oh yeah and this brand has one of the best presentations ever..

Beautiful bittersweet chocolaty scent with some nice spicy citruses. Radiant, boozy and warming. I feel like the heavy patchouli base makes it more masculine but it also has a bit of powderiness so it might not be completely true :) Anyway it’s a great scent! Follow me on ig: scent.guide

It's better than Mudslide, this one is unique. "What are you wearing?" It's not loud but projects like crazy, if that makes sense. The perfumer created a masterpiece. 11/10

A pleasant surprise. This is so smooth and nicely balanced on the nose. You get the sweet citruses and then it dries down to a deeper and sweet expression with a hint of freshness. So good!

I may be anosmic to the citrus top notes in this fragrance because all I’m getting is waxy almond - a non-sweet chapstick. I wish I could enjoy this as much as its namesake cocktail but I’m not getting anything at all referring to a Negroni.

I was wondering how they were going to conjure the smell of alcohol in the base notes. I've tested the fragrance today and it seems that the answer is simple: superambers... There is a molecule called Ambermax (c) that has very intense woody-ambery olfactory profile with harsh, alcoholic tone reminding me of a whiskey. I can smell it here and the composition is utterly unpleasant to me, unfortunately.

The chocolate-orange opening is very interesting, as it is remarkably savoury for a chocolate orange smell - think dark chocolate covered orange peels rather than terry's. It then dies down to a very strong, very long-lasting smell of...hair products? The other review says carmex, and I am inclined to call it that too. Not unpleasant, but very cosmetic-y. I feel like I just left a hair salon.

This is a proper art creation, very realistic orange & Chocolate gourmand at the opening, but once it settles down that’s when the monster YSL M7 VINTAGE comes out to shine! Performance is really a HIT, it’s an extrait so I'm not surprised. I love this and I hope to get a second back up bottle because it’s sold out for a long while on their website. In conclusion im giving this 8.5 / 10

Smells like a tootsie roll and carmex...if you're into that sort of thing cool but it's a pass for me
