Patchouli Mojito

Last night I wrote a rather thorough review of Jasmine Martini. Please go catch that if you are interested. I'm going to keep this review short and sweet because many of the details are similar if not overlapping. Same brand same quality. The longevity is just as good. Same as with the sillage. Perhaps slightly more because patchouli naturally lingers in the air longer than other notes. Patchouli Mojito, in my opinion, is very patchouli forward. That could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your feelings about how this fragrance note wears on you. This is not a chocolate cake style patchouli, but rather a green and aromatic type. Personally, that type doesn't sit well with my skin chemistry. It is by no means bad or off-putting, it just goes a little bit sharp. I know that this is a personal issue because I have smelled this type of patch on other people and it smells excellent. That's the reason why I am writing this. It may not be for me and it may be my least favorite in the collection, but it is by no means a bad fragrance! It is still very well balanced. A very well crafted cocktail where everything has just the right amount all mixed together for the utmost experience. I highly recommend for people who thoroughly enjoy patch in their fragrances.

I'm a little bit surprised that no one else has uploaded a review since my last post. At least I am able to provide an update. I changed my mind about my preferences. This is actually very enjoyable! I think it is much better suited during warmer weather, especially in the evening. I smell the aromatics much more than I did before. Last time I wore this, it was in mid April in the morning and I believe it was overcast. Right now it is much warmer in the evening on a clear day. Not very humid at all and I think the fragrance really shines here. It is much more eucalyptus right now than it is patchouli. I don't know why I said that last time. Eucalyptus and mint are the stars in this composition. And when it is hot outside, these fragrance notes can be very refreshing. A mojito in general is very refreshing and I think Patchouli Mojito captures the essence of everything you want this experience to be. I might have been a bit harsh the first time I wore this. Of course you have to be in the right mood to enjoy any particular fragrance. I am in the right mood this evening and I will say this fragrance is much better than I originally thought. I recommend this entire line to you all and I am looking forward to their next release.

Don't have too many green fragrances in my collection, but I went to a local perfumery to mostly check some stuff out as it had some niche brands that aren't necessarily available in stores and I wasn't strict on buying nothing, but was also open to this. I asked the worker if they had anything "boozy" and he handed me some that were just too strong until he goes, "have you checked out the two over there?" It was Patchouli Mojito and Vanilla Mudslide. I thought I would like the mudslide more, but it was too thick. Then I smelled this. A nice minty blend with an aromatic and green essence from the patchouli and eucalyptus with that backing from the rum. Comes off a bit cucumber-y but it has that cocktail nature to it to where it's nice. Bought this right in time for the spring and summer and don't regret it at all!

A great fragrance. Perfect for summer and spring even during the day. The green notes are aromatic and blended nicely. Very smooth and won't offend anyone. I'm not sure about the sillage but the longevity is great. You get the mint with eucalyptus and I also get cucumber for some reason. Anyway it does indeed remind you of a cocktail which is the point and is very pleasant and kind to the nose. Kudos!

Smells exactly like lightly salted cucumbers slurry my grandma makes! Even that subtle hint of sugar Is there. Funny!
