The hate and bashing this fragrance has received is in my opinion totally unwarranted and undeserved. This stuff is very nice, it’s fresh, it’s clean, light but present, performs well in warm weather, and all around is a really pleasant daily wear. It definitely feels geared for spring/summer and is a perfect active lifestyle scent (ideal for the gym). It’s pretty simplistic to my nose, basically just a smooth peach and apricot with some musk, but it works! It definitely doesn’t break any new ground but then again I don’t really have anything else in my collection that smells quite like this. Seems to last a good 7 hours on my skin as well. Anyway, if you can grab this with at least a 25% off discount I feel it has a place in any fragrance wardrobe and at this point might even be worthy of underrated banger status now that hardly anyone talks about it anymore. Atlantis is a solid release for every day use which doesn’t smell like anything else from the big designer houses. This stuff can hold its own as far as I’m concerned.

I personally like the smell. I do not get the powdery notion at all and ive smelled hundreds of frags. Imagery: This is a mossy city under the water. Like you took an ancient city and submerged it, and you are looking at it in a snow globe. You can smell the stone, the deep green moss, the clear blue water and the sun hitting the water. It kinda smells like southern iced tea. Which I love about it. It's a really really good fragrance. The reason it got hate was because it was unknown brand and pushed by influencers, but no one talks about it anymore, so it’s back under the radar. Yall keep hating and I'll keep wearing. Wife loves it so what else matters.

A nice and clean freshie that has been my go-to choice this year. I'm a real big fan of those peach and apricot mid-notes in particular; they give the scent a sweet, mouth-watering quality after the zesty citrus opening. Great performance too. Usually lasts a good 7+ hours on my skin. Also, it always gets me a decent amount of compliments whenever I wear it. It’s been a spring scent for me, though it's versatile enough that I could imagine breaking it out all year round. Worth seeking out but would suggest getting a sample first.

I really like this, coming from a skin care company for men I was unsure I would. It's more complex on my skin then should be the case with a freshie. I get this cooling cucumber( presumably the violet leaf naybe the water lily which seens unique). The peach/apricot shines also I think its very versatile and a great scent. The magnetic cap is crap.it doesn't sit well on the bottle and doesn't lock in place. Be warned ⚠️

This is a fabulous scent for summer. It opens super fresh with lemon, bergamot, and black currant. I mainly get apricot in the mid notes 45 minutes in with lingering light musk undertones. I get 6-8 hours as far as performance goes with average sillage. Bit surprised the comment below describing it as “generic” I’ve had over 30 fresh fragrances in my collection and this doesn’t resemble any.

Alot of people are sceptical of this fragrance, because it basically came out in nowhere, and started appearing on people's top 10 lists. This fragrance is magical, even Forbes saying its the number one fragrance for men to try in 2022. This guys who talk bad for this fragrance are payed from other companies or idk.. 😐

I don't think this is a great fragrance but I have received a fair amount of compliments. Is it worth the hype... Nah. That doesn't make it trash. Decent summer reach for fun, just spray a few more extra sprays

It's not the best fragrance of the year or of all time. But it's good and very versatile. I find it to be unique and very well blended. It's smooth, fresh and fruity with an aquatic airy feel. Not a beast, doesn't project real far but does pull in compliments. My wife likes it which is the main box I need to tick. I bought a sample 15ml for under $10 but don't plan on buying a full bottle for $100. If it ever makes it to discounters, I think $60 would be the max I'd pay for a 3.4oz bottle. This will probably never get a good rating on Fragrantica because of the obvious paid YT reviews and review articles across the web. It's annoying and damaging to those trying discover a truly good scent. So it will be a target of trolls. I had to overcome my urge to give a poor review out of spite but ultimately decided to admit I actually like it.

This is a very good fragrance, this is what I wore daily. I switched back to The Dreamer EDT and then tried the Blu Atlas again. It seemed very soapy and wasn't as good as I remembered. It seems like everyone loves it or hates it. The way they got to their fame was very shady and not very trustworthy, that doesn't change the fragrance though. It's a very good fragrance, but it smells a bit soapy. The fragrance is great, but you can get many better fragrances for cheaper. The way that they got here was shady and if it weren't for them being under the Blu Atlas name and them having the advertisement/publicity, it wouldn't be $100. In conclusion, not worth the price, good fragrance, shady advertising.

To all the disappointed blind buyers: that's your fault. You wasted your money without proper research AND attempting to find a decant before purchasing a full bottle. I rarely blind buy a full bottle, I don't care about the hype. I liked my decant enough to buy a full bottle for $100. It is worth my money. It's not super unique but something about it made me pull the trigger. I think it's the black tea smell I'm picking up. Tea's not listed as a note but I'm getting a black tea vibe along with peachy/apricot-ty fruitiness. It was overhyped by the marketing and you tube but I like it a lot.

I like this fragrance but not a love. I have been told I smell really good wearing this but for me, this is basically a gym scent. Now it is great as gym scent but I do not want to pay $100.00 or more for gym scent. I will continue to wear this to the gym but I will not repurchase unless i can find a good sale. As a gym scent except for the price, it is a 9/10. As regular day to day, I would give this a 6.5/10,

Although you see orris root as a note and you may think powdery it’s not. The scent itself is not full bottle buy worthy but its an okay scent. It’s every bit as good as Bleu de Chanel as a “Blue fragrance.” I like BDC but give it 7/10 overall as well. The two do not smell the same btw. Sample first. Overall 7/10

As a fan of Clinique happy for men, I was looking for something fresh, fruit forward with better projection and longevity. This checks the boxes for me, I would consider it a modernist take on Happy for men. Easy to wear, everyday fragrance that isn’t going to offend many people.

I understand the hate for this. People feel like they got ripped off. This thing was on every best cologne list and most people blind bought at full price. I purchased this at a huge % off discount when it was on sale, so my review is different. First of all, I absolutely love the scent. It’s a “clean” scent so if that’s not your thing then you won’t enjoy it. Out of everything I own, this is one of the most complimented scents for me. However, the performance is terrible. You get about 30-60 minutes of projection and then it turns into a strictly skin scent. If I smell myself I can still smell it for a little bit, but after 2-3 hours it’s no longer even a skin scent. I am actually satisfied with my purchase. It’s nowhere near what it was marketed as but it’s a great scent that I can find use for, especially if you’re able to use it somewhere you can reapply. If you’re interested in this scent, do not buy at regular price. Wait for a markdown or a discount.

i mean i am not upset cause i was literally given this for free. it kinda reminds me of one of those tree shaped air freshners u put in ur car. whatever the new car smell is, thats what this reminds me of. its honestly not offensive, i wasnt around when this was overhyped but it just sorta smells like cheap laundry detergent. its not the worst thing ive ever smelt but really boring. i would call the first five minutes interesting, very fruity and pungent opening, and then it just smells kinda clean and powdery. NOW AGAIN, i got this for free and looking at how much its being sold for... wow. yeah dont pay over $100 for this thing. There are gonna be far more interesting, smooth and cleaner scents for cheaper. (i will say also @NoseRaig has a point, there is a sorta feminine bathroom energy to it again this is mostly just powdery and clean smelling, but not expensive or smooth. it is better and cleaner than a men's restroom lol)

Warm Weather MID. This is not a bad smelling fragrance at all. I picked this up in a bundle trade. The performance is a little bit lackluster. Off my skin I get a fresh opening of Lemon and the bergamot. After 5 min I pick up the moss lavender and some sage. I would consider this a good office, Church or Gym scent, not overpowering will not choke anyone out. Definitely for spring & warm weather. Is there better fresh frags? yes. Is this one ok? Yes. would I spend more than $40 -$45 for this one - No. Needless to say, I have received complements with this one and it will remain in my collection.

This would be a good scent for a body wash or a face wash maybe but it just doesn’t last and kind of smells like a soap bath & body works would make. It’s not a bad scent but it certainly not the best considering the price and others in the category.

To my nose this is a generic, creamy, citrus, slightly tropical scent with a touch of that dryer sheet vibe to it. The creamy vibe coming from the peach apricot combo. Hints of a wood. It's smells okay guys. A female friend said it smells like a standard cologney type scent. Testing: It lasts about an hour then turns into a skin scent. Not beast mode if that's what you want. I did some tester strips and had the ladies at work nurses and nurse assistants as well as the HR ladies smell this vs Creed Aventus Cologne Vs Invictus the OG vs Azzaro the most wanted (Black Bottle). All the ladies liked all 3 fragrances being honest. None picked Blu Atlas as their favorite. All ranked it dead last in these 4. Aventus Cologne was number 1 with a bullet at 6 votes. Invictus 2nd at 3 votes, The most wanted got 2 votes. Creed Aventus Cologne was nearly always the second place vote for those that didn't vote it as their favorite. When I asked would they buy this for their man after disclosing the price none said they would buy Atlantis for that price. Invictus was actually the one that came in number 1 claiming damn near every vote for would they buy it for their man with the most wanted number 2 with 3 saying that's what they would buy. From the Youtube and social media reviews I was expecting this to be amazing, get all up in my feelings like say Naxos, Chergui, Aventus and such did. Instead I was like meh.... Okay, whatever. If this were a $35-$40 fragrance I would say ya sure why not have it in your rotation. But at it's current price no way. This actually is on par with Lattafa quality. It reminds me of something I blind bought from Lattafa and then gave away after smelling it. One of those, ya it's nice but not nice enough for my rotation. Ignore the Youtube babes pretending this is the be all end all of fragrances. Is it worth a decant? Sure get a small sample of this and check it out. Just don't be expecting it to blow you away.

I REALLY wanted to like this. It has alot going for it.... The scent is pretty unique thanks to the peach and apricot notes. (However my wife said it smells like orange tic tacs, and i couldnt get that out of my head lol) Its a very linear clean fresh citrusy scent that surprisingly isnt really sweet. Def spring/summer and casual wear only. The box, bottle, and atomizer are high quality. The problem is performance. Projects for like 30 mins, then turns into skin scent and its completely gone in 3 hours. Blu atlas had an amazing marketing campaign for this... they made a unique scent, put it in a bottle that looks like Bleu de Chanel, and gave it a name similiar to Adventus (Atlantis). Then they really greased up the reviewers with paid advertising to build the hype lol.....but the performance falls WAY short. Blu atlas does offer a 30 day return policy so you can try it risk-free, but I returned my bottle as the performance is a deal breaker. This performs like a body spray not an EDP. I am curious to see if Blu Atlas releases other fragrances in the future, as they show potential, but Atlantis a pass for me.

When just starting to look into colognes I looked up on Google what it said is the best and this popped up. Idk why it did, it’s not that great. The scent is decent. A lil different than most colognes out rn. Focused heavily on the bergamot note. Very citrusy, and slightly sweet to my nose. Kinda comes off as a creamsicle type smell almost. The performance is terrible in my experience. Projects barely a 3-4inch bubble, and lasts like 2-3 hours. The first hour is arms length. A $15 liquid in a $40 bottle for $100+tax. Feels more like a scam than an actual cologne.

Two general issues. 1) Way too much of some aldehyde that makes this smells like dryer sheets or fabric softener to me. 2) It irritates my sinuses in the way almost no other scent does. So rather than it's touted "well composed" nature, this smells like the worst synthetic I have tried. Def never gonna use up my 5ml decant. There are much cheaper "dryer sheet" fragrances out in the world.

I was super disappointed with this one. I got a peach/musk and not much else. Not very masculine. Smelled like a female hairspray to me. Glad to see I'm not the only one disappointed because EVERYONE on youtube liked this...it made me feel crazy...I was genuinely wondering if I got the right decant.

Smells exactly like the hair product Brand Ausie. There Hair spray/shampoo!! A huge let down, a waist of $100. Might be better if it lasted longer then 20-30 min. after 1hr its completely gone! I use it as a air freshener in the hot summer days!

I had this once and can tell you it smells just like Aussie Hairspray and doesn't have any projection. Instantly knew I was in some kind of money grab scam and returned it. They really did give my money back was the best part of the story!

This is my first review.. but long time member. I hate that my first comment is such a negative one but i saw that Blu Atlantis was on the site and i had to chime in. Ill start with: Brilliant marketing- you would read everywhere that this was the "new thing". That this was some groundbreaking new fragrance that was so new and original that every one was.going to NEED this for this spring/summer. Except... its an extremely sub-par and plain fragrance, with a lot of money to pay magazines and websites to give amazing reviews and write entire articles naming this one of the "most popular men's fragrance of 2023 blah blah" It's wild you can't find anyone talking about this fragrance yet, its supposed to be "the #1 fragrance of 2023". I got sucked into the hype and bought a bottle. It's just some boring, generic freshie with absolutely nothing special about it. You can find samples out there, people. I highly recommend trying this stuff out before you waste your money on this awful and boring fragrance.

A marketed product, not a fragrance. The reviews, and guérilla marketing campaign, create impossible expectations. If this was actually an excellent fragrance, worthy of all the paid-for praise, it would be fine. But it isn’t - it’s a basic, unoriginal, average scent. This is not a fragrance that, somehow, through word of mouth, has become - allegedly - one of the greatest fragrances of ALL TIME within months of release. Does that sound plausible? No. It is a brand that has invested exceptional amounts into influencers and paid for features, many of which do not disclose this relationship. Multiple articles placing it at number 1? Tidal wave of 5 star reviews, influencers declaring it the greatest? It is a simple, fresh fragrance. Unexceptional - do not fall for the paid-for fake hype or you will be disappointed too.

This spring I got pulled into the fragrence world. I started building my collection! During this build I couldn't help but notice the hype behind blue atlas atlantis. I had to have it, I had to smell it. I ordered it, it ended up costing me a total of $300, $100 for the cologne,$200 for the shipping. New York to Ontario? Crazy right? My wife and I were so excited, we were like little kids waiting for our prize possession. WHAT A HUGE LET DOWN! To be honest, it's not the worst, sometimes I like it, sometimes I dnt. But I barely wear it after that first week in June. I would never buy this again or anything from Blue Atlas, not good business to trick potential clients into believing this is the best cologne of all time. I was duped. Oh well! I've moved on

Don't believe the people defending this lol. Its, at most, a $40 fragrance. Its basically all the base notes plus peach and lemon (citral). So a fairly low projecting, soft, faint, slightly powdery, slightly musky fragrance. Iso e super, hedione, methyl ionone gamma, alpha ionone (grojsman accord), ald c14, apritone maybe, muscenone delta or tonalide, galaxolide, maybe faint woods like amberwood f or vertofix. Maybe some watery molecules like helional or calone (the scent is not aquatic at all though). Its ok but don't pay full price. Can honestly wear it any time or season. I put this on to remember what it smells like and I always regret doing so lol. The perfumer probably didn't have much leeway with what to work with for the brief.

Total waste of money 💰. I read so many articles about this Blu Atlas. Everyone was praising it so much and some articles also described it as the "Best cologne of the year". But when I used it I was so disappointed with it. It smelled just like febreze. This perfume had no projection at all and lasted less than 10 mins. That day I realized not to believe all these fake articles. They get paid for their fake articles and promotions. So please try it before buying the whole bottle. Otherwise you will end up like me "Disappointed".

YouTubers like curly been pushing this and sboy by draco hard.. My friend bought both and sorry to say I'm happy he did because I would have fell for the hype if I never smelt his bottles..I was Soo close to purchasing both. Atlantis by Blu atlas is not complete trash but it's not great either and at the price it is thats BONKERS to be honest I wouldn't even pay 45 for it let alone 100..save your money people don't be scammed

Luckily, I tried a decant before buying a bottle. First decant I ever threw away. I hated every aspect of this so-called fragrance. You have to hand it to their marketing department. They paid tons to have good people and good sites lie about this crap. I see they are at it again with their 2024 release, as well. Already have novice youtubers singing its praises while receiving money for their tall tales.

Smells like pine trees to me. Also my bottle is clear by says Atlantis by Blu Atlas eau de Parfum. Bought it 18 months ago or so. Did the bottle change recently? Was it reformulated?

Everyone seems to get duped by fragrance reviewers on YouTube, blind buys stuff for high prices instead of waiting for the market to cool out, and then take it out on these reviews so other people can't get a fair idea of what the stuff actually is. That's your bad, bro. But why do I now need to sit here and look at overly biased negative reviews and stats? Like it's obviously not feminine, very weak, and intimate. Let's be real. If you don't like it just say so, and put the stats where they actually belong, don't blast these reviews way out of skew. Some of us that didn't get railed hard by the hype train would like to actually know what this stuff is about. Again, it's your fault you blindly follow YouTubers like sheep and don't think for yourselves. Now you're mad about it? It's Not terrible. Got a very clean, subtle scent, very fruity at the start and cleans up after about a half hour into a fresh scent in my opinion.. is it worth the money? Probably not but not terrible.. wanna be scent. Snobs are going to tear this apart just because of the marketing... I give it an overall rating of close to four stars as I like clean scents and the longevity could be better but with what's been put out in the past few years, this is not terrible at all.

As to RCL 101's question. I wonder the same thing? I can't cout how many times this fragrance is ranked #1 on online surveys or fashion sites, yet I've never heard it talked about, seen any reviews on YouTube or advertised anywhere. Hmmmm🤔

The very fact that I stumbled across this one and saw that "powdery" was the top note was almost like a sign 😂 I'll definitely be checking this one out and following up. Yes, good chuckle at the Johnson's product references too.

At first I thought this smelled like pacific chill but very green and bitter... like there's a tea leaf smell in here However now I think it smells like Sunplosion by simone andreoli just without the coconut
