Golden Honey & Argan Oil

This wasn’t launched this year (2024) as I bought a bottle from a boutique in Mykonos September last year. Absolutely stunning, true honey scent without being sickly, I tried it on and returned after the dry down started reminding me of the honey wax candles that were burning in the little Churches. I realised that I wanted to purchase it as a memory, and now that the weather is (kind of) warming up a little (not a winter scent really) this will forever remind me of my trip to Mykonos. I agree with the patchouli and wood notes, this is more than likely what balances this out and stops it being too sweet. It’s honestly sunshine in a bottle, very pretty indeed.

I got this fragrance to try to soften and sweeten another one by Blue Scents, "Night Jasmine" (which, although truly unisex, was leaning much too masculine for my tastes) - unfortunately it didn't really work out in that regard. I expected it to be as strong and powerful as Night Jasmine (in terms of sillage and longevity), but it ended up being much too soft and weak - it was completely drowned by Night Jasmine. It is however a pleasant scent, light and fleeting as it may be (it doesn't even last that long on clothes). To me it smells exactly like a herbal chamomile tea with honey - even though there's no chamomile note (the box does have what look to me like chamomile flowers though) and I don't know which of the notes I could be interpreting as herbal. The packaging is beautiful and good quality. The bottle is simple but heavy and sturdy. The sprayer is fantastic. The fragrance is delicate and sweet - I just wish it was a bit stronger and longer lasting!

Aromatic chamomile tea with loads of honey, and bit of orange and mint? Obviously neither chamomile nor mint are listed in the notes, but that's what it smells like to me. I've had it for over a year now and it's a lot sweeter now than it was at the start (it was a lot more herbal at first, and if I thought it might have been unisex then, now it's clearly what I interpret as feminine. I imagine it's the combination if the "gourmand accord" with the argan that are responsible for the almost nutty caramel dry down that it now has, and didn't have before. Its a very "yellow" scent - I couldn't imagine wearing this with anything other than shades of yellow, orange and brown. It's pleasant in a soft and comforting way - it's the sort of scent that I could imagine on a scented pillow, and that's probably what makes me reach for it so infrequently. The bottle and sprayer are very good quality and the box that it comes in is very hard/sturdy and beautiful btw!
