Let You Love Me

Engem az üvegcse fogott meg először, majd utána olvastam, és az illat is kezdett érdekelni. Egész jó áron sikerült beszerzni, és vakvásárlás ellenére nagyon jól sikerült. Nekem a She-vel mutat hasonlóságot. Nem ugyanolyan, de hasonló benyomást kelt bennem. Van valamilyen vonás benne, ami ugyanazt érezteti velem. Szeretem. Hűvös februárban kezdtem el használni, ruhára és bőrre fújva is tartós, nőies, jó szillázzsal rendelkező illat.

Let You Love Me by Blumarine is a dreamy, unexpected take on lavender—soft, airy, and quietly magnetic. A subtle touch of pepper adds a contrast, keeping the fragrance from becoming too tame. Men find it sexy.

Milky Way with pepper. A bit of LouLou and Roma. A hint of lavender, almond milk, anise. Nothing to do with By.

I could pretty much copy paste here my longer review for “Libre Intense” YSL. But just to sum it up: a dull, sweetish scent from the 90s. This one also with moderate longevity. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING like “By”. UPD: I have revisited this (alongside Libre Intense) 1,5 years later. And though I still attest that it has nothing in common with “By” and that I still dislike Libre, I must say that my perception of this fragrance have changed. Now I find it not as sweet with some interesting spicy note in the beginning and a little leather in the drydown. I think this could be a good value for money buy or a good inexpensive but quality gift for those who are into luxe amber florals.

It's a beautiful scent of lavender and vanilla. Lavender is very delicate and feminine in ideal proportions with vanilla. I don't smell any pepper, but lavender together with pepper give this cold, chilling feeling. Also I can smell some balsamic, slightly bitter notes. Sweetness is also present here, but it's moderate. A sweety-cooling fragrance, I would say. The longevity and sillage are 6-8 hours on clothes. Orange and patchouli are at the background and complete the top notes. I imagine this animalistic scarf (on the bottle) waving on the neck of a beautiful woman somewhere in Provence with fields of lavender and honey flowers. I love it!

Fresh spicy fragrance, aromatic oriental, reveals an unexpected and sensual femininity. The lively notes of black pepper immersed in a fresh and clean accord of lavender, the exotic and sunny notes of Ylang-Ylang emerge victorious from the blend hand in hand with the notes of geranium in harmonious agreement with the brightness of orange blossom. The base ends with reassuring notes of patchouli and sweet and creamy vanilla. Pleasant and feminine fragrance.

I like this one very much, I guess I love pepper in fragrances. For me, this is really nice go-to everyday scent all year round.

I bought it blind, because of tthe comparison to By. I want to cry, because i am very dissapointed. First-it has nothing to do with By and second-it is not interesting and there is nothing what i like in a perfume. It is overpriced for the peppery water in it. I feel Only pepper with little bit lavender and dusty musty powder, which is from 18 century.. If this is your thing, go for it. This is my Last lesson never to buy blind again. Ever! I could buy something, which i reallylove. I hope in cooler weather it would smell better. Sigh...

From all the comparison above Only Roma By Laura and CK Obsession are correct.

The woody, ambery accord and patchouli here are rather overpowering on my skin. This is a bone dry and slightly powdery scent with some sweetness and a touch of aromatic lavender. I got a sample of this but I have a bottle of J’ose and J’ose is much more fluffy, sweeter and more cosy than Let You Love Me. J’ose is much more in the realm of Mon Guerlain and Lush Twilight than this as Blumarine is slightly more vintage smelling. It’s lovely, but I think the aroma chemical in the base is a little bit domineering for my personal tastes so it’s not a full bottle for me.

If you are looking for a dupe/substitute for Dolce & Gabanna’s By, be aware that THIS IS NOT IT. Not even a little bit, not even remotely, nothing even resembles By. I bought this with hopes to save from my original By bottle, but what a huge disappointment. I even sprayed one in each arm and ask my husband to sniff it to have an unbiased opinion and he (which isn’t a frag junkie or anything) said that the only thing they share similarities is that they are both perfumes. 🤷🏻♀️ The fragrance itself isn’t bad - but not a substitute for By, unfortunately.

Perfection for low price, 10/10 quality and longevity! Add this to your collection if you were fan of Armani She, old one, for me they are pretty similar and close to each other going in same direction. This perfume is so classy and every day versatile scent. For this price a masterpiece :)

Wow so very good! This perfume makes me feel good. It’s a very unique smell and I’ve been looking for a good dupe to By D&G. This is not that but I feel the vibe. Great lavender and depth. Smells expensive & classy but at the same time cozy and welcoming. Hmmmm can’t wait to wear this more.
